On their website they call themselves "an elevated, curated experience" and with a lot of hype in various media outlets I went in with a degree of expectation. Unfortunately I learned not to believe the hype machine as I left quite disappointed in my meal. Sequentially: 1. Ordered 2 of their signature cocktails. They looked awesome on their instagram. What I got did not look like online and was literally the 2 worst tastings cocktails I've ever had. The "explorer" tasted like lemonade but they forgot the sugar. The "Phoenix" was all liquor. I love alcohol but they were both horribly unbalanced 2. Got the HRW menu and got the fried mozzarella and salad. The salad was good. Flavorful and balanced. The fried mozzarella was semi cold and made extremely bland, like not even salt and pepper on it. 3. Got the short rib pasta. The short rib was the best part of the meal it was savory and filling. The pasta sauce with again was bland. We also got steak which was ok but over cooked. Maybe if they didn't have the hype and it wasn't obvious they are trying be something they're not I'd could give another star. But they are competing against the best in the city and I turn some of the best chefs in the country. I learned that these are the same people that did spaghetti warehouse which is where I'd put this restaurant good for families, but nothing deserving of the hype it has received and certainly not elevated. read more

My friends and I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday and it was terrible!!! They are participating in Houston Restaurant 2023 and they were out of items on the menu and the service was slow. Our bacon cheeseburger were basically raw , missing the bacon and the fries were cold. Twice the burger came under cooked!The manager was of no assistance offering to recook the food which forced us to eat in shifts not as a family. Do not waste your time patronizing this restaurant. I have been frequenting this place since the plague started. I have always loved the enthusiasm that Richard and Mike Dalby and now, team, attack the dining room. The Ks fashioners are always on point. The happy hour is impossible to beat with great pricing and delicious munchies. I have taken my family and dates and am always greeted with warmth and amazing food and service. If Either Richard or Mike sees me, they say hello, no matter how busy they are. I used to sit wherever Mike was served by and now that he's managing o just enjoy sone banter. The chef driven food is amazing the Z'atar chicken and pork belly and Mac n cheese are two of my favorites. My husband and I went here with friends for our wedding anniversary. The staff was super friendly and always on top of everything. They kept our drinks full, always asked if they could get us anything else, and went out of their way to make us happy. They even brought us an anniversary card with all the staff signatures on it. I tried the short rib ragu pappardelle pasta dish from Warehouse 72 and thought it was great! The pasta was al dente, the sauce was tasty and the short rib was tender--a tasty combination. Beautiful restaurant, great vibe, but the food is just okay. They have live music here and noise can be a bit loud to talk over music. The music gives off a great vibe though! Our server forget what dishes we order even though he order a technology device while taking our orders. We had a few runners serving someone else's entree. The food is served a little warm. The food tasted great, but the service and running seemed to still be working out the kinks. Long gaps between being seated and drink orders, then getting the drinks and ordering food, then actually getting the food. I know my parents don't like it when appetizers come out after sides (soup, salad, fried cheese) that are ordered with the entrees. The bill came and it was wrong, missing all of our drinks. Food was amazing!! The staff was so nice and attentive. I believe it was the owner stop by our table twice to make sure we needed anything. We tried their May menu which was 4 courses for $55. It was totally worth it. I had the halibut, it was the most amazing halibut I've had. It was juicy and crispy. My husband had the steak it was so flavorful and juicy just like a steak should be. For my other courses I pick crab ravigote, cauliflower soup and the mango panna cotta. Everything was just amazing. I totally recommend coming to Warehouse 72. We looked up this restaurant in Yelp as we were in the area and needed to grab a bite. We ordered salmon and pizza, with a couple of beers. So my fiancé initially picked this restaurant because of the unique art work, ambiance and exotic menu. We celebrated his birthday and he wanted a different experience from the common restaurant scene and I was hoping they wouldn't disappoint. I wanted it to be a perfect night. Well let me just say they definitely did not fail in anyway! We had a party of 16 people and yet we still had the best service ( thank you Cesar, our waiter and his crew) and the food was amazing too! Everyone at our table was impressed and raved about their drinks and food! The prices were very reasonable considering the quality/quantity. I wanted so much to like this place, but the service was just awful. I sat at the bar and the bartender apparently was waiting on the entire restaurant. Literally he was doing everything while the manager was sitting a a table with what appeared to be some other restaurant men. I'm sitting there looking around for the bartender and waited and waited. If I was the manager of a restaurant I'd be also pitching in instead of running this guy ragged. It was 14 minutes from when I sat down til I was even acknowledged. Very disappointing... the manager today just tried to pass a glass of beer that was suppose to be on draft but it was actually bottles... if i had not asked he was not going to tell me. How can any restaurant operate with this type of dishonesty? It calls into question everything else... freshness, sanitary, etc. The food was not good... chicken soup was bland with hardly any chicken, the lasagna was hard... the only thing that was good was the bread. The manager was also not very customer based... picked up my glass without asking if i wanted more... plus, he came by and asked if i was doing good and i said it was fine.... how can anyone not follow up as to why just fine??? What an awesome experience we had as we entered the restaurant this past Saturday for HRW lunch. Amanda greeted us and guided us to our table. This is such a beautiful place to dine in and filled with welcoming staff, beautiful murals and art all around. Everyone came by our table just to say hi and gave recommendations on food and drinks. Even as first timers, we greatly appreciate that gesture. Giovanni was our joyful server. Always had a smile while tending to our table. Drinks were delicious. The special was frozen margaritas and we also had chef's Palomas. Yum! We did 3 lunch HRW courses and 4 appetizers. Everything was enjoyable. Pretty presentation. Will def come back to try out their dinner services. Spacious parking and offers patio seating. Great for groups and pictures. Our favorite app was the charred octopus. 15 layer lasagna for HRW lunch was wow! HRW Shrimp risotto pretty good. For desserts (3rd course) we chose the espresso with ice cream and yogurt parfait. Definitely completed our awesome lunch and to benefit the houston food bank. Can't wait to return. Thanks Warehouse 72! Oh one last comment. My girlfriend and I had dinner here tonight for our Valentine's celebration. The atmosphere was quite romantic. The food was excellent and the service was way above par. I had the herb roasted salmon. It had a nice and crisp crust. My girlfriend had the dry aged steak. Both meals were not only delicious, but also had a very elegant presentation. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't yet. read more

First of all, the manager Richard, takes care of his customers. He is exemplary role model and is fully vested in his community. Warehouse 72 is now open. They are practicing social distancing in the restaurant, wearing masks, etc. It's completely safe and everyone should go and have a nice meal. My husband went out for dinner last night and shared delicious wine, cocktails, appetizer and an out of this world ribeye. This has become our favorite place to grab a great steak. I wish I could give a 0. There was no organisation when it came to who our waiter was. One didn't speak English and he was trying to take orders. I ordered fried oysters at 1130. I asked the waiter the status and he said they'd be out shortly. He came back 10 minutes later stating the kitchen was sold out!!! Mind you, they only opened at 11, it's now noon. And this was on their brunch menu! I opted to order the hot chicken sandwich. No bread, no mayo. The waiter comes back Jess than 5 minutes later with the food. Lol. Dying cold.
