This is long overdue but I love this place! I purchased my first firearm here a year ago and at that time, I knew very little about them and had tons of question and was worried I'd be "mansplained" but that was not the case! Chris, the employee that helped me, took the time to listen to what I was looking for and made recommendations. He didn't try to push a certain model on me or make me feel bad about asking basic questions. I just called W1 to see if they had a Colt Python. The man on the phone asked what size I wanted. I gave him the info. and he looked it up. Went here for the first time with a friend to do a private party transfer. I was excited to go into a shop that I had never been to before. Their greeting was great, however the minute they found out I wanted to do a private party transfer, it all changed from there. 4 employees where behind the counter and only 8 total customers, not counting my friend and me, were in the shop. Most of these customers were paired up together so the wait didn't seem long at all yet the employee that greeted us said that the wait would be around a while for our PPT. In fact, we were ignored over and over even after all the customers that were in the shop left and only new ones came in after us. One employee finally told us that he would be right with us after a 45 minute wait, but then the owner or manager told him, "No PPT right now". WHAT??? I couldn't believe it. When I heard that, we left. I realize that the $10 that the shop makes off my PPT isn't a desirable transaction but that is part of being in the Gun Shop business and I am a customer. I will never go here again and I will suggest to everyone not to as well. The gun community is a great community that I am very proud to be part of. I have met some long lasting friends and have spent a lot of money in local gun shops. There are many great shops out there in the Inland Empire that I will continue to give my business to, however this will not be one of them. Very very disappointing. read more

It only takes one person to screw things up ... Guy behind the counter didn't acknowledge us when we came in. Finally got some service but I felt rushed. I asked a question and the dude ignored me... Asked again and gave me a short answer. I also put down my name for a weapon in the past and never received a call, finally went in and saw that they had the weapon and I asked why wasn't informed they really didn't say much. Note: if you write a bad review on warrior one they will respond with a totally different story... It just shows how shady these people are. After reading the reviews here, I decided to go by last Wednesday morning. I spoke with Mike and was, overall, impressed with his knowledge and sincerity. I told him that I was planning on buying something in the next week or so. He gave me his input and I went to the range to try out the guns that I was considering. Prior to leaving he made sure that I had his contact information so that I could call him with questions, etc. Called him the next morning at 9:45AM. They answered the phone and I spoke to Mike. He told me that he would do some research and call me back after the store opened at 10AM. Waited all day: crickets: [chirp.... chirp....] Friday morning sent him an email. "Chirp.... Chirp...." all day Friday and Saturday. I tried to post a one star review on Sunday, but, for some reason, Yelp wouldn't post the whole thing, so I took down the partial Monday morning. Monday morning he called (don't know if he saw the partial review). Told me that he had been waiting to hear from suppliers. I didn't want to waste my time telling him that I had also spoken to suppliers and other retailers in the interim, had gotten a lot of information, and had made some changes in my plans. I had already decided that someone who cannot return a phone call for three business days after they had told me they would be calling was not someone that I wanted to do business with. I wanted to do a private party transfer. These folks don't know the rules. They told me that somebody with a military ID and orders would not qualify as a California resident. And clearly that is untrue. As part of the DROS process, the purchaser must present "clear evidence of identity and age" which is defined as a valid, non-expired California Driver's License or Identification Card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). A military identification accompanied by permanent duty station orders indicating a posting in California is also acceptable. They may be good at other things they do understanding the laws not one of them. read more

im leaving three stars because my first trip here was horrible, my second was alot better ( different employees helped me each time) Right after I got out of the Marines I decided to pick me up an AR, so I drove out to the shop to pick one up. I decided I Wanted an M&P sport as I was going to slowly change parts out to fit me. The guy behind the counter gave me this elitist attitude and talked down to me for a bit about how im an idiot if I dont buy the higher end rifles after I made it clear that I Wanted the M&P the guy became very dismissive with me and even went around me to help someone else out while I was waiting to buy my rifle. After a bit of waiting the first guy had another employee help me and this other guy was real cool and asked what all I planned on doing to the rifle and even complimented me on my plans. I do the 10 day wait period and go to pick up my rifle from a different guy who was really cool and laid back and actually joked around with me for a bit. Overall if I received the same service both times I would give this place 5 stars, im giving it three because I accept that there are elitist dbags in any hobby you can do and after reading alot of the bad reviews im going to assume they are all talking about the same person I encountered, which im assuming is some fanboy by the way he talked. read more

I stopped in about a year ago for the first time and met Joe. I was looking for some defence ammo for my Glock 26. Right off the start I felt the friendly atmosphere. I recently purchased a handgun and I was expecting a long drawn out process that I experienced with a different gun shop less that a year ago. I have been looking for 9mm ammo all around the IE and have been unsuccessful. Turners is all out and so is Bass Pro Shop. Coming back from Morongo I yelped guns and ammo in the area. I found Warrior One Guns and Ammo. I walked inside and was greeted by Mike. I asked if they had 9mm ammo and to my surprise they did have some. I purchased two boxes and was on my way. I know it's a bit of a drive out to Riverside but worth it if you need ammo. Call ahead and find out if they have some in stock, you might just be surprised like I was. read more

The owner Mike was so cool. I called him around 3:30 pm asked if I could stop by to pick up a ordered part. But I wasn't going to make it in time before they closed. He said no worries there going to be there for a bit and I would have the time to pick up the part. So roll by he said. Okay I showed up at 5:30 closeting time. He greeted me at the door and let me in. This was my first time there. Let me say this ((wow)). This place is awesome!! If you have the time to check it out do so. You won't regret it. Just keep in mind it's a busy time of the year and everyone's stocking up. So there very busy... I stayed for a little while to look at everything. This place has better selection of ARs then most stores. No names I'll say. But I was schooled in the few minutes that I was there. My wife and I went in as newbies with a bit of online study, and having read the reviews selected Warrior One as the first place to go. We had hoped to find a variety from which to choose and had in mind several models/manufacturers we were seeking. The shop was clean and well-merchandised. What normally would have been a large handgun display was pretty small due to the number of recent sales they have experienced and the lack of available supply from distributors. Mike was very helpful, professional and explained the paperwork and purchase process with us. This was important since we were completely new. He recommended a trainer and had a lot of good advice. Since we were already considering Glocks, they had two different sized .40 cal left in stock, I took one for myself and one for my wife (she liked the larger of the two go figure). While we there two other customers came in looking for the same Glocks but we were able to get them first. Considering the high demand these days, there was no discount. It was strictly list price. I don't mind that though because I like supporting hard working independent businesspeople like these guys. I imagine they are more frustrated than anyone at the current short supply from manufacturers. Plus, I'll pay a little extra because I want them around for support long term. However the $480 somebody mentioned below as a Glock 19 price was certainly not the current state of the situation. You should plan on a couple hundred more than that. Mike kindly helped up through the paperwork, we took the HSC test which was easy. I was quite surprised that in order to pass you could get up to seven out of thirty wrong. Fortunately I did better than that missing two. We purchased a supply of ammo for training and took a look at a couple of accessories. We are now in the 10 day waiting process and looking forward to returning to the store. Mike promised a training session on the guns when we come back for pickup.In the interim we'll follow Mike's recommendation and contact a trainer to get up to speed. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience and I expect they will be getting more money from us long term. There are a lot of cool accessories and a lot to learn about. Customer when they first started and still a customer. What it is: Gunstore, mainly high end AR15, AR10's and pistol. They also carry shotguns bolt action rifles and other firearms. Ammo, they seem to carry mainly PMC. Gears/Accessories: Vest, bags, pouches, voodoo tactical, Magpul etc. Layout: Upon entering there's a section of gears bags and vests. Then there's a wide open room with products around the wall and pistol cases and rifle on the walls. The overall layout is great, easy to navigate and nicely spaced and organize without looking cluttered or cramped. Advertisement: As advertised, they have deals here and there, be sure to find them on their facebook for updates vs. their website. They also have a website that shows what they carry and whats in stock. Staff: Mainly two, Norris and Mike both very knowledgeable and know their products they are selling. Some stores have workers that just sells and knows little Cough cough turners and feed you false laws..... There are also few other staff that works at the shop here and there but had no interaction with them. Overall: Great store 4 stars. I'm a smart and well informed shopper, I would give them 5 star but mainly the price of FFL transfer $100 compared to most shop $75 and some firearms is marked up enough its cheaper to order it from another FFL pay 4% credit card fee and $25-$35 shipping plus the $100 FFL transfer fee and still be cheaper. I'm happy to support local gun shops but its hard to swallow some prices when its marked too high. Majority of the accessories are at great to reasonable price. The ammo is marked higher but they have the them in stock. I guess the prices can be made up for the lifetime guarantee they provide on their guns if it breaks they fix it. It's funny how I get a message left by the "owner" stating my review is fake but his rebuttal is nothing short of what I posted. For a business to grow you have to be willing to accept criticism and strive to correct your behavior and you sir have failed to do so. A gun store that actually CARES about their customers, truly outstanding service! I've been looking all over Southern California for a Glock 34 to shoot IPSC and steel plate competitions and a friend recommended Warrior One. I live over an hour away, so I called to see if they had any in stock. They held their LAST one for me until I could come in to purchase it. They even declined to sell it to another buyer while I was en route! The only challenge was with the recent buying frenzie, they ran out of Handgun Safety Certificates. So I had to go somewhere else to take the test. It was inconvenient, but these guys let me stop by after they closed to complete my backround check. I was truly amazed by this courtesy. After furiously finding out that Galls; across the street, closed at 5, i stomped into Warrior One looking for a flashlight. Although the entry is a little choppy, you can see that the store extends further inside. With a pretty vast array of clothing, stocks, scopes, knives etc, the displays are open and all price tags are very obvious. The shotgun display is well done and impressive. I asked the guys behind the counter if they had any flashlights and was told the new stingers would be in in a couple weeks......... ugh and double ugh. But.... i was told i could take one of the other 2 leftovers for a discount!! Yes and DOUBLE yes!!! I'll now be coming back here to buy a $200 flashlight, drool over the 1911 in the case and oogle over a mossberg defender.... Impressed!!! read more

The reasons I was there was to purchase a pistol, buy ammo, and transfer a firearm private party from my seller to myself, and the seller also had a firearm to transfer to my brother. Warrior One Review Warrior One definitely sets the bar for how modern retail stores, especially firearm stores, are supposed to be run. Mike and Norris, along with other Warrior One personnel I have encountered, are very friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable within their field - a combination of traits rarely, if ever seen, in the good majority of places today. Admittedly, this was the first ever gun store I had visit in my life so naturally I felt somewhat nervous going in, but Mike and Norris create a very inviting atmosphere. When walking in on any day, one immediately gets the feeling they are stepping into a true gun store and not some second-rate outdoor specialty store. In fact, most other gun stores could probably use a lesson or two in product placement and store design from Warrior One. The floors and walls look very clean and everything is arraigned neatly. Several months ago when talks of an Assault Weapons Ban were floating around, Warrior One was generally able to keep their walls lined with product as much as possible. Despite other locations charging exorbitant prices, and most likely price-gouging customers during times of political turmoil, Warrior One retained their typical everyday prices that are very reasonable. As far as selection goes, the store stocks the many common firearms known. Handguns are typically shown in the display cases on the floor while shotguns and rifles line the walls behind the counters. First-time buyers should not have any concerns about a limited selection because there is almost always the right weapon for any customer, except during extraordinary circumstances (i.e. Assault Weapons Ban). Even if you do not plan on purchasing something immediately, Mike and Norris will walk you through everything you need to know before you pull out your wallet. Warrior One's philosophy seems to be selling excellent products to customers, and not just trying to empty your wallet. Warrior One is without doubt one of the best places I have ever gone to and I hope they continue their excellence into the future. read more

First of all, this place actually has inventory! Not just a few dusty revolvers and a ruger 10-22 on the wall, but two full walls of firearms along with stocked cases. Unlike a lot of gun/gear stores, these guys were accommodating and welcoming. I was in search of a specific model of free float hand guard that I have had no luck of finding. Norris took the time to check the inventory of his distributors and went as far as to help me search for alternatives, one of which I selected.
