I'm confident that if this restaurant was not located next to the industrial parks around Boeing, but in a more chic location in the city, that it would be harder to get a seat. I never expected to find sushi of this quality in this sort of location. But it's some of the best around. My wife come here often. We always ask the chef about the filleted and torch seared scallop that a friend put us on to. Not even sure if it on the menu. The gyoza is a simple appetizer fried perfectly. Crispy and savory. Our favorite rolls are the Lion King (torch sear salmon on top) Caterpillar (a roll wrapped in a little of everything) and Seahawk (an avocado wrap) Seriously, ignore the location and you're in for a Sushi treat beyond your regular expectations. read more

Last night was date night and we found a gem near our apartment complex! I felt like the restaurant wasn't crowded enough considering how delicious the food was. The sushi (I got a rainbow roll) was so soft and fresh. They even accommodated my food allergy so I know everything is made to order. The spicy ramen my boyfriend ordered had so much depth to the flavor of the broth. The presentation to both was very nice as well. We even got to try a pudding dish for free. This is, surprisingly, given it's location, one of the best and most authentic Japanese restaurants in Washington state and possibly beyond! The food is very tasty, the service is very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. I've been coming here for lunch all the time over the past few months since I discovered it in the little strip mall near Boeing. Best bento I've had since Japan! Came here for lunch today...loser party of one please. Anyway, at 12:15 on a sunny friday it was actually pretty empty. They did have two tables outside but both were taken, that's okay I wanted to eat warm food in a cool dark environment anyway (seriously no sarcasm here). Anyway I ordered their lunch special Katsu w/rice and salad for $6.95, some Maguro Nigiri (2 pieces for $4.50), some hot tea (Atsui O-Cha okay I'll stop) $1.50, and some add on curry for $2. My cheap lunch rapidly was rapidly just a little under $20 after tax and tip, but I wanted to try a little of everything. So how was everything? Sushi was actually nicely prepared, fresh, good portion, and also (very important) the Wasabi was fresh. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to a sushi place and ended up with crap Wasabi (you know the kind you basically can eat like mashed potatoes without any sense of nose sting). Rice was rice, but I do wish they gave you a bit more. The curry was standard and they gave you a lot for $2. However, I wish they gave you a little less and actually put some carrots/veggies maybe even some meat in it. Salad was standard. The Katsu however was awesome. Nice, tender and and juicy inside. Crispy and tasty outside. Service was also pretty good both the server and the sushi chef were constantly checking on me and getting me refills. Good service for my loser party of one. After 6 months or so of not stepping foot into here, we walked in one Friday night and the owner says, "Hi Betty, hi Huy. Long time no see!" Wow he remembered us.... All the rolls were freshly tasting considering it was 10 o'clock at night. We ordered at least 6 rolls and he made it just the way we like it. I up'd it a star because the service is amazing and their rolls were better than I remembered the last time I came here. After paying for the bill, he gave us a free bottle of hot sake. I can't complain, it's close to my house, service is friendly, and it's decent. The owner used to be the chef at I Love Sushi and is friendly as ever. He doesn't know my name but he knows who I am thanks to my brother and his girlfriend. Those 2 have become local celebrities in the owners eyes. All the sushi rolls that I've devoured there are good, no complaints from me. My daughter tears up her children's meal which consist of salad, chicken teriyaki, and gyoza. Try their saketini or the nigori sake. Very good. If you're on his good side or if you dine with my brother and his gf, you know you'll be getting hooked up somehow. Okay, I don't mean to be a total jerk. I swear but I REALLY have experienced better. You know when you're craving sushi & you satisfy that craving with some bomb sushi so your sushi-fix is good for the next month? Yeah, no ... didn't happy here at Wasabi Factory. Chicken Yakisoba = tasted somewhat similar to Benihana's & if you've already read my review on that, I wasn't a big fan but I guess I was hungry so decided to eat up. Crispy California rolls = Eh, it was alright. The rolls weren't the circle you're probably used to. It's more of a cucumber cut in half then cut in half again (do you get that?) It had this brown & white sauce drizzled all over it. Which if you knew my boyfriend you would know he isn't too keen on random sauces all over his food. Spyder Rolls = My boyfriend ordered this & the only thing he didn't like about it was that the rolls fell apart very easily when he tried to pick it up. The ambiance of this place is very.... dark & cool. Cool being no heater. Dark meaning only neon lights to see your food. It gives it a club lounge-ish feel with the lighting. We went here on a Saturday night at around 9, it wasn't too busy. We wanted better sushi, so we headed to Sushi Moto in Edmonds the following Monday in the snow. What can I say? Pretty standard sushi & teriyaki. Depending on your preference you can sit at the sushi bar or at a table. Some of the dishes i've had are quite bland (yakisoba) but they do have some creative sushi rolls. During lunch (even if the restaurant is 1/3 full) expect long wait for service & food. read more

This is a gem in Everett. My boyfriend and I come here too often, especially for take out. We are obsessed with the fried rice!!! Maybe they cook it with sushi rice?? I don't know... but I can never get my fried rice at home to taste like this. Our normal order always consists of pork fried rice and the Lion King roll. I usually try to order something different whether it's an entree or a sushi roll. The quality of fish isn't the best you can get, but I can live with this in the Everett area. If I really wanted supreme sashimi I would drive 30 min to Seattle. Service is always great here and I've never had to wait. Came in for pick up a few weeks ago during a Seahawks game and that was as packed as I had ever seen it for dinner! read more

I've had the Philadelphia and salmon rolls here and they are awesomeness. As is the edimame. My friends have always enjoyed their meals, and there are plenty non-sushi options on the menu if you have some anti-sushi friends. The staff is super friendly and always take good care of the group of friends I go with. The first time I went there, the sushi chef randomly made my friend a shot of something blue, fiery, and delicious. My only slight complaint is that sometimes the food takes a little long to arrive, and they bring out food in different intervals. It seems like each time I've been there, one of my friends has received their food really late and has had to awkwardly watch everyone else eat while waiting. Other than that, I love it! read more

Won't be trying to go there for lunch again. Waited about 10 min for our order to be taken despite having our menus down the whole time. Only 1 person waiting on customers and he's moving slow enough to balance eggs on his head. Like, oddly slow moving. We ordered 2 lunch items and asked how long it would take since we're heading back to work within the hour.... He said 10 min. I asked if he was sure and he mentioned a large order they were filling in back but it should only take 10 min because of that. 15min later no food and needing to leave in like... 5 min. They were to-go orders but never bothered to give us our checks. A table of 8 nicely dressed executive types sit down as we wait and as they get tired of waiting for menus they ask if we're waiting long..... I waived them off as they were tired of waiting. I verified with the guy who came out from behind the sushi bar to try catching the fleeing customers that our orders hadn't been started left, and we left. Stopped in for an early dinner last night and found the food and service to both be excellent as always. Started frequenting the Wasabi Factory shortly after it opened because the food was great and they offered many authentic Japanese dishes as well as items created by the owner compared to other sushi joints and Japanese restaurants. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great environment, food and great prices ... won't break the bank compared to some. read more

Delicious and good presentation. The chirashi bowl was a work of art and everything was very fresh. Even something as simple as a CA roll was better than usual. And while still tasty, I wish their dynamite roll was actually spicy and fried a touch longer. Overall, I'd love to come back again =) read more

I used to be sooo disappointed there was no good sushi joints around. When i moved to Everett, I used to be like.. omg, Everett is lame. Well, Everett is still a little lame, but - in the midst of the lameness, there's the Wasabi Factory which helps to give Everett a couple of 'cool' points. The restaurant has cool dark ambiance that from the beginning makes you get the feeling like you're going someplace trendy The staff is very friendly, our sushi roller took some shots of wasabi with us one Friday night. (That's what's up!) They have a good variety of sushi. I'm a fan of their volcano and hawaiian rolls. I do know a certain sushi eater who often frequents this joint with moi (you know who you is) who doesn't agree with the way the rolls are rolled. Which I'm like, whatever - if you can't pick up the sushi roll with your chopsticks, could it be that it's because you lack the skill to do so? O_O And that's fine, I'm not hating; chopstick usage usually doesn't tend to be second nature to nonasians. ;) I'm not claiming to be a chopstick pro because I sure as heck can't catch flies with my chopsticks like Mr. Miyagi, but I do okay and I don't complain about the rolls here as they're just really good; i eat them as they come. They have other dishes as well, but recommend just sticking with ordering sushi here - you get less than what you pay for when you order say - the teriyaki plate, or the salmon plate. read more

I had the Caterpillar roll and it was phenomenal. The eel was delicious, and the eel sauce complimented it perfectly. I will continue to come here during my lunch breaks whenever I get my (very common) sushi cravings, as I work pretty close by. It's quiet and relaxing, but not so much so that you feel in the spotlight as you order. The service is quick, but not so quick that you question the freshness of the food prepared. I have been to quite a few Sushi bars and Japanese restaurants including Shiro's in Seattle. At night this place is darkly lit with blue lights and candles, so it is one of the few Sushi bars I know where you could also get an intimate atmosphere for a date night if you wanted. This place has excellent Sushi and the Chef is very creative. I asked for some albacore Sashimi to start and he asked if I would like to try something a bit different. I Said sure and he made basically a sashimi vinaigrette. It was excellent and required no dipping of soy sauce or wasabi, though it was provided. Next he suggested the "lion king" which was a california roll with seared king salmon on top, and it too was fabulous. The service here is top notch and the chef is very helpful and pleasant. I will be making this a much more frequent stop in the coming months. They have a website using the name of the place, though it is very basic and doesn't list the days open or the hours. read more

I won't ever go back here. I called 30min for a Tuna roll and udon. When I got there they have started. If I can't call ahead that's fine but then tell me that. I was super late for my appointment. When I got there they said they started my order but clearly hadnt. There was someone there that was telling me they brought them out three wrong rolls and no water. Really good deep fried rolls and fresh sashimi. Manny's on tap is great. Great happy hour prices. I always leave full. A healthy dose of Boeing-oriented decor makes sense considering the proximity to the big plant. It is located in a bright, clean strip mall in what I would consider to be the armpit part of Everett down the hill from Boeing. I have been there three times and the service and quality seems consistent. Price-wise, it rates $ at happy hour, but $$ other times. read more

The food is so so. It's a convenient location. I've dined in once which was good service. But this is the second time I have ordered sushi rolls for take out and man are they CHEAP on the soy sauce packets! I spent a little over $30 for 3 rolls and when I asked if I could get two plastic to go sauce cups for soy sauce they said no because they already have me packets.....they gave me 3 with no chop sticks! I don't know about everyone else but for 3 rolls and $30+ later I think good customer service would to not be so stingy on what they provide. I asked for some more and the lady was annoyed that i even asked and only gave me 2 more. If there's an extra charge I would be happy to pay it so everyone can actually enjoy their meal. Overall I won't be visiting them again just because of their stingy-ness and attitude. read more

My VERY diverse family stopped in while visiting grandma and the couple at this restaurant went out of there way to make sure that we all got the food we wanted. Terrible service. My boyfriend, my son and I went here for our first visit. It was vertu slow and wet were the only table in there ordering. They brought out 2 out of 3 meals we ordered. Waited for over 5-10 min for our 3rd meal and finally asked if it was coming out and the quiet said he "forgot" but would bring it right out. We said no as we did not want it.
