Great service and atmosphere. The sushi is great. We also enjoyed the Thai dumplings.

Wasabi is my favorite Thai restaurants in the area!! We came in on a Saturday evening and the place was busy. We got seated right away and our server was brining us waters before we sat down! Throughout the whole experience our server was attentive and quick. We started with Thai dumplings which were very tasty and scrumptious. They do only come with 5 so not a crowd feeder. We ordered chicken pad Thai which is one of our favorites. It is served hot with carrots, peanuts, and bean spouts! They had the perfect blend of sauce to noodles ratio and i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend y'all try this. We also tried the poke bowl which was new to their menu. I got the wasabi style one with asparagus, edamame, jalapeños, and avocados. It was very very delicious and the waitress was kind enough to give me both dressings on the side to try. The jalapeños do give this bowl a kick, so it may not be for everyone. Wonderful experience here and will certainly be back! Excited for my leftovers tomorrow!! I can also speak very highly of their take out services here too.

    Pad See Ew (tofu)

We came here because the restaurant we wanted to eat at was closed and was pleasantly surprised. It was not busy at all on a Monday early afternoon. We were quickly seated and our server quickly came and asked for our drink order (water). Food: I ordered one entre. The pad see ew with tofu and it was delicious. This is the most tofu I've ever seen on any Thai noodle dish from any restaurant. It was a little low on the noodle portion but since I never fully finish my meals it was perfect for me. The flavors were amazing. Be warned, The menu is a bit overwhelming and extremely extensive. Service: our server was prompt to take our orders. Was friendly and gave us more time when we needed and answered our questions about the menu. Price: I feel that for serving sizes they may be a tad bit overpriced but the ingredients and flavors are so fresh and vibrant that it possibly makes up for it. Ambiance: great seating options and space decor. I wish tables were a bit further away as I could hear a nearby tables entire date conversation though no one was speaking particularly loud. Otherwise everything was clean. Would come back to try other menu items.

Update Review Menu has changed and there are less specials but still a good sushi place to try.

Delicious mocktails, appetizers and entrees. Attentive service, tuna and vegetables were very fresh. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Entrance on end of building parking available in front and back. Cary amphitheater and currently Chinese lantern festival nearby. Plan for traffic if going to free parking around 6pm

Grand sushi morí. The head chef picks the best selection.

The sushi was 5 stars. I ordered the grand sushi mori and the head chef created it himself giving me the best items such as otoro, salmon belly, and uni. Everything was amazing, even the rice. Cooked and flavored perfectly. Usually i try to drown the rice in soy sauce, but it didn't need it. I also ordered fresh wasabi and the truffle tuna appetizer special. The appetizer melted in my mouth. They didn't skimp on the truffle so don't get this unless you LOVE truffles, which I do. The lack of a star is for the service. We asked to be seated at the sushi bar and then we sat. The chef had to finally ask the server to come take our orders because we waited so long. I also had to request things I had ordered but were forgotten. He was very nice and we weren't in a rush, but if they had a good FOH manager this place would be incredible.

Came here for lunch while getting my car serviced at Honda dealership up the street. Love Thai food so I searched for Thai near me. Wasabi is in a shopping center. Parking can be a little hard to find if you come during busy times. Walked in around 2:30 in the afternoon and was seated right away by the hostess. I ordered pad thai with chicken med spicy. Food came out pretty quick about ten minutes. The dish wasn't spicy enough for me but it's fine, I asked the waitress to bring me some thai spices. Added it and was very tasty just what I needed. Came with a salad . Service was ok she seemed very rushed and impatient but she did check on me a couple of times and refilled my water. Overall I would come back. Prices are good for quality of the food:)

Our recent visit to Wasabi in Cary was exceptional: delicious flavors, beautiful presentation, and impeccable service. We started with a new item on their menu, the yellowtail crudo. The yellowtail paired perfectly with refreshing mango -- a true taste of summer. Next, the tuna truffle. The tuna, topped with a mouthwatering truffle sauce was outstanding. Chef Tony's ultimate creation was the nigiri and sashimi platter--an impressive display of the freshest fish, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. For an outstanding dining experience in Cary, check out Wasabi and tell Kandy I sent you! They also do a 10 course omakase experience twice a week. (Make sure you call ahead for reservations for omakase. Seats are limited)

My wife & I enjoyed a scrumptious dinner at Wasabi on 12/15/2023. The food was beautiful & yummy. Service was kind & prompt. They have ample table's & seating throughout, which was spaced well so as to not feel cramped. It's been a few years since we'd been, but won't be long before we're back again.

A nice perk of this spot is that it's just a stone's throw away from free and plentiful lot parking. I'd make a reservation if you plan to come here on a weekend for dinner. The place was bustling, with almost all the tables full. It's bright, airy and modern looking inside. Which makes it the perfect place for a date night or celebration spot. At the same time, it's not stuffy or overly fancy. The menu is comprehensive with Thai favorites like Pad Thai and Pad See Ew with a large number of Japanese and Sushi items on the back. My friends tried the Thai Spicy level and I will say it was pleasantly hot without burning your tongue off. I ordered the bento box and was really happy with the quality of the sashimi and nigiri. Everything was tasty, and the portions were more than satisfying. If I had to make a nit on something that I didn't love (it's hard!), I'd say that the rice texture wasn't my favorite. It was a little dry. But other than that, I would definitely consider it for another night out.

The hostess/server greeted us as we came in and showed us to a table. We saw a good assortment of Thai dishes, including a whole page of vegetarian options. There were four types of tea to select from (I chose Jasmine). My wife and I selected entrees and asked about their soups. They have a coconut soup and the server suggested a big bowl to share and asked if we wanted to add chicken. We did. Let me tell you, that soup was delicious!!! It was a large bowl, large enough that if we went to Thai 54 again we'd share the soup and a single entree. My wife had a chicken and vegetables stir fry. She really enjoyed it. I had the massaman curry. Excellent. Just a hint of spice. When we fly into RDU again, we'll return to Thai 54.

The first time the food was good and warranted another try before it was added into rotation. This time I got chicken pad see ew instead of shrimp. While eating I noticed that it was not as flavorful as the shrimp and the chicken was rather dry. I stopped eating it to doctor it up a bit. And while mixing my food I saw a little more than I requested for. Yup a cooked caterpillar wrapped around the broccoli. So, back to the restaurant I went with uneaten food from the whole order. When I arrived I asked for the manager. The girl at the counter asked why, I mentioned the hitchhiker and I don't know if it was disbelief or communication error but she wasn't understanding what I was saying. So I politely opened the container and pointed it out. She then proceeded to ask if I wanted it made over. I declined the offer and asked for a full refund because our meals were ruined and tainted. Then the manager came out and stated he would only refund the 'defective' meal and not the whole purchase. Which leads me to writing this negative review which I never thought I had to but I had to let others know to try at your own discretion. And please double check your food for any hitchhikers.

What a great idea! I like to come here for one dish: the squash curry or the pumpkin curry. We came in with some friends on a Monday to celebrate a birthday. My friend has a gluten and dairy allergy, which was actually no problem here. So if that is a dietary concern for you or a loved one - this is a great spot to bring them! We were all able to enjoy a majority of the food. My partner and I both enjoyed a mocktail version of the roselle freezy - it was amazing! Either as a mocktail or a cocktail, you should try this drink. For starters, we had the crispy chicken wings, spring rolls with veggies, and the lettuce wraps. We all enjoyed the chicken wings so much that we got a second order of them. I enjoyed the spring rolls much more than the lettuce wraps as they had more flavor to them. For dinner, we shared an order of the Manda Amphone's Curry and the chicken pad thai. I originally did not expect to be blown away by the pad thai - boy, was I wrong. This is hands down the best pad thai I have ever had. If you love pad thai, you need to try theirs. I also thoroughly enjoyed the curry. Both dishes were rich and flavorful and came with enough to share between 4 adults. Overall, not having been to Bida Manda in 10+ years, I was impressed and will definitely return.
