I live alone and my laundry had become very backed up. Unfortunately, I fell and required an ambulance/hospitalization. Prior to coming home, my sister dropped off my laundry at Pacoa's - finding it conveniently located in Publix Shopping Center, and it was 72 lbs (several items were wet)! When I was discharged from the hospital we were able to pick it up on the way home! I have never been so pleasantly surprised at the pride these folks take in their work! The clothes weren't simply hung at shoulders or folded and put over hanger; these were meticulously placed so the clothing would remain wrinkle-free and unstretched! The hangers were covered by the light blue drycleaning protective bags. I don't ever take that care with my clothes! The folding was so precise and uniform, I didn't want to take it out. No kidding, when you are disabled and have many, many needs - you notice details like this. And -- it is AFFORDABLE!! I'm so impressed with the efforts and product these folks provide that I want to tell them to charge more as they are definitely worth it! I'm trying pickup/delivery today and honestly, I expect them to be eagerly smiling when they knock on the door! Pacoa is a Treasure in Tampa Bay!

The manager told me: "they did not know that I did not know..." such poor customer service. I went back and they pretended to not know what I was asking for. Then they removed the tags which left a glue spot the size of the tag. I asked for the glue to be removed and they said they would have to clean the items again at no charge. It looks like they tried to remove the glue on one item, damaging the wool fabric in the process. So they just cleaned everything, which did not remove the glue residue on the other items and did not say a word to me. The manager had an attitude and should not be in leadership. I have even referred so many customers and family members to busy bee . The location was convenient for last minute items with a reasonable turn around. The owner is definitely the problem here as his pricing consistently goes and changes over night. I personally have walked in on the owner arguing with other men about pricing and misleading information that he simply refuses to take ownership of . Overtime I began to receive the same type of service and frustrated conversations with him. During COVID his daughter worked there as she consistently gave people wrong clothing items or/and did not provide you with your items. The inside needs a real bad dust cleaning. Artificial plants have layers of dust as do the walls and structure ( for CUSTOMERS with allergies SMH). The only nice and warm employee is the lady that lived across the street while raising her kids - she left the business but came back after being called to come back and he now keeps her in the back more than he does up front . Outside needs to be touched up and fix your broke van that seems to have sat for the longest. Moral of the story Mr Owner - I'm BIG on culture, community and business and you're not it . The website doesn't have the latest updated schedule. Your best bet is to always call ahead of time if you are under a time crunch. In my case, I was called Friday and was told my clothes are ready. Unfortunately, I'm not anywhere near that area so I'm going to have to pick it up on Tuesday because Monday is a holiday. Planning ahead works for me, but many people wait until the last minute and alterations are one of those things you need time for. Other places may accommodate you, but I'm sure you won't get the same quality. Actually I just realized that this was sitting in my drafts waiting for me to finish my overdue evaluation. The clothes were done very well and they are still looking good. One pair of pants that are my favorite now look very well on me. I use them a lot. Can't find any faults with their alterations. I definitely will use them again even though they are pricey. You get what you pay for here no doubt about it. I've read the reviews about this establishment and all the negative comments are from people who don't understand work, quality, speed, & cost.
