We had our facility outfitted with an old madrigal security camera system with coax wires. After…read moregetting few estimates from installers, we could not believe how much savings SeattleDVR Inc. did to upgrade our system to 4K cameras. We chose to have 16 of 8 megapixel cameras. Peter was fantastic. He is trustworthy and responsive. He came out the same day and gave us 2 options, one that uses the coax wires as a network line that saved us tens of thousand dollars of cabling and wires, and another estimate from their installer that includes new Cat6e wires. The estimates are both almost half price than the quotes we got from 3 other big companies. After asking from the neighboring facilities, we found out they've done a lot of this old warehouses and have the knowledge, expertise and highly recommended. They planned out the location of each camera and relocate some to have a face recognizable images even wearing hats, or hood and read license plates as they come and go to our driveway. They took a lot of care to make sure the wire runs were perfectly, hidden and on conduit for outdoor cameras. There are zero wires visible. They far exceeded my expectations. The camera system is really nice, very crisp, clear video and the installation is perfect by the third party installer. The interface is so self-explanatory and easy to use.

She gunned her car backwards up my driveway-- with the hatchdoor open. Yep. The open hatch caught on my open garage door and ripped it off the track. (Her car didn't fare much better.) Enter George from Sevan Locks & Doors. George answers his phone! We made an appt to have the door fixed the next day. Boris came out and fixed it! Reasonable fee and excellent work. Thank you George & Boris. I found Sevan locks & doors on the BBB website. They were the only company in this area to have an A+ rating with no complaints. They are also a member of BBB which was even more reassuring. I wish there was a BBB for FreeCycle customers...

I spoke with their main operational head who explained that my fire alarms were old (beyond their 10 year life) and needed replacement. Rather than pitch their services, he explained that this was something I could probably handle myself, where to go and the appropriate next steps. Within a few days I had replaced all of our smoke detectors with the latest edition - problem solved. SO WHY am I writing this review. Because the guys at Signal Services didn't have to walk me through what was happening and how to fix it. They didn't get paid, had plenty of other things to be doing that day, but took the time to help me out for free. With that, they earned a 5 star review and my pledge to use them again in the future if I ever need services that they offer. They set me up with an amazing system with high quality cameras and a great app that alarms when anyone is within frame for the allotted time. Russ came to my house, took a look at my setup, and made a few reasonable upgrade recommendations...all at no charge to me. He didn't "push" anything on me, just gave me the facts, briefly mentioned his Blockwatch service, and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. He actually dissuaded me from spending more money on upgrading my panel unit or adding sensors he deemed unnecessary...fine with me! I was so happy with Russ's inspection and advice that I paid him to come out and install a new keypad and a half dozen new sensors. Some of these were the tiny Micra window sensors he sells on his site (alarmprofessor.com), all of which turned out perfectly. Russ told me he's been in the business for 30+ years, and let me tell you, it definitely shows. He worked very quickly, but always took time to answer my questions. When I showed an interest in learning the keypad programming, he taught me exactly how to do everything myself in the future. Russ seems like a good man and a skilled alarm technician. If I ever need alarm help again I know exactly who I'm going to call.

They said since I didn't answer the phone there routed the tech to somewhere else. I told the person on the phone at no point in the message said to call them back or the service call will be cancel. She then said well that's true. Just awful and not professional. We are now going to use someone else.

After that, it's been smooth sailing. They appear to have a strategy of cultivating customer satisfaction and confidence. If you're shopping around, these guys are a pretty safe bet.

If our system triggered an alert, the local Central Station called me incredibly quickly, which gave me peace of mind knowing someone was watching out for my family. Smoke detectors: Tec. info was not provided until I asked for it. Was told a "heat" detector would be placed just outside the kitchen so smoke from cooking would not set it off. WRONG.They installed a a standard smoke detector that alarmed the first time we fried a fish. That got replaced with a heat unit. The App: The console lists all sensors as it should. The App lists only non burglary sensors but includes one of two gas sensors. Why? Still waiting for an answer. All this in two months. I'm surprised they are still in business. Wish I could get my money back. The key box: Made in China and instructions writter by a Chinese person who spent 10 mins. in the US. I rewrote the whole thing in correct English and gave it to the salesman. ARRG.

When I walked in the house Christmas music was playing in all the rooms on the intercom system! He could have tried to do a major upsell but instead he tried to do exactly what I wanted which was repair what I had. If things work I don't want to replace them, I want to repair them. Seth gave me constant updates on the project, and was always courteous, charming, and considerate. I would highly recommend Island Security to anyone. We figured out together, while he stayed extremely calm, that a battery was burned out. I went to to a grocery store to buy a new one, even calling him from that store to make sure I was buying the right battery. Then I called him from a ladder in my shop, and he explained exactly how to replace the battery and reset the alarm. I am SO GRATEFUL for this assistance, and for Jaspyr's calm and reassuring manner. Shopkeepers live in terror that we will be burglarized, and a properly set alarm, maintained by a company that cares, staffed by experienced and kind technicians, is essential to running a bricks and mortar shop. Jaspyr understands all that, and I am very appreciative of his assistance, which took about two hours from start to finish. Shortly after he replied back with a quick suggestion and asked me to try them. During this experience, he followed up with me a couple of times via text to see if I need help.
