I brought my orient automatic watch in after just receiving it because I thought there was a problem with the watch dial moving. Steve looked at it for me and inspected it very closely and was able to assure me that there was no problem at all and that it was looking good shape all around. Emailed Steve about adding a few links to my Rolex , came in and the screws didn't fit quite right. Needless to say Steve got out a dremel and made the screw smaller !!! By far one of my best repair experiences ever. The owner is super professional and pleasant and he is clearly very good at what he does. I gave up on my Cartier tank watch when the stainless steel bracelet and Cartier said it could not be fixed. Their estimate to replace was $2000. I went to inquire about a leather strap and he fixed my original band AND changed the battery for $30... DO YOU HEAR THAT CARTIER??? Steve also fixed another watch with a complicated clasp in 5 minutes flat for $10. I will definitely be back. Worth the drive. read more

I've been going to Steve for years for minor issues like batteries and sizing if watch bands. His fees for these services are so minimal they are not worth mentioning. Steve is always such a joy to work with and just the nicest person you'll ever meet. Recently I brought my husbands Tag Heuer watch that stopped running after 10 years. The dealer wanted an insane amount of money to just look at it. Steve fixed the watch at half the price and he would charge nothing if he couldn't fix it. I had the best experience going to Watch the Time. I got a watch for my birthday that fit too big and I needed it resized. I called several places for quotes. One place told me the resizing would be $15-20. Steve said it'd be $5 and he'd do it in a minute while I waited. I went out and he was super efficient. I could not be happier!! Steve is great and very professional. He knew my watch right away, pop open the back with the exact tool needed. He showed me the inner workings, which I found fascinating. He explained what he was going to do and showed me the special devices that are used for a watch cleaning. Note, my watch is a manual automatic Omega, so he does service higher end watches with care.
