I had a simple job, fixing a watchband that on a fitness watch my sister gave me. The band was way too large, and links had to be removed. I took one look at it and figured that I'd destroy the watchband and that would cost a lot more than giving someone who'd know what to do the job. The guy at Watch Zone did it in a few minutes while I waited, and it cost a very reasonable $10.00. He knew how to determine the number of links that had to be removed so it would fit on my wrist, and it's the right size and it fits - not too loose and not too tight. I accidentally dropped my watch on the sidewalk, and it stopped running. So I took it to Watch Zone and the owner, Tam Luu, looked at it as soon as I came in. He didn't like what he saw - the battery (a cheap one) had basically been taped in place and the tape could damage the mechanism. The fall had dislodged the tape. (I had replaced the battery when I was abroad, at the only place I could find: a 7-11 that sold watch batteries and staffed by a young person wearing ear buds.) Anyway, Tam showed me the battery and the tape, and explained. He removed the tape and immediately installed a new battery. Saved my watch, cost $15 and took 7 minutes.I was very relieved. I have been to his shop several times and always got great service at very reasonable prices. Highly Recommended! read more

I have had many watches repaired (mostly replaced batteries) and not only do they do a good job but their prices are fair and they are honest. My last experience was bringing my husband's watch in that had its battery replaced less than a year prior unbeknownst to me. They checked their records and replaced the battery for free. They said if this battery goes out sooner than a year again than it' the watch, not the battery. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Around a month ago, I took out a watch that I have not used in a while. I found that the watch was running very fast ( mechanical wind up watch ). I brought the watch in and the technician examined the watch and said that the watch needed service and that it was bone dry, needed oil. I left the watch with him. He took apart the movement, cleaned lubed and regulated the time. Around a month later I picked up the watch ( well worth the wait! ). I cannot believe what a great job he did! The watch runs great! Super accurate within a second or two a day ( Remember this is a mechanical wind up watch not a quartz ). I am somewhat of a "watch nut" and will be bringing in more watches as time goes by! Oh by the way, the gentleman is very professional and very friendly and nice to talk to as well! Highly recommend!!!! read more

I inherited a Tiffany gold pocket watch from my grandfather many years ago. When it came time to get the watch cleaned I took it to Watch Zone. They had it for quite a while but when I got it back it worked beautifully. I took it home and promptly put it in the clothes washer. By the time I realized what I had done it was too late. The stem had broken and the winding knurl had come completely out of the watch. I wasn't sure it could be repaired but I took it back to Watch Zone. They told me they thought they could fix it and to come back in a few weeks. When I came back the watch was good as new. They had complete re-cleaned the watch and repaired the stem. It turned out that the stem was no longer available so the guy there made a new one from scratch. The total bill for cleaning (again) and all the repairs was $35.00!!! When I asked why the price was so low, he told me he wasn't charging me for the re-cleaning. I was amazed, I'm sure any other place would have charged me up the wazoo. These guys have my business from now on. I cannot recommend them too highly. read more

I brought an expensive watch here to get the battery replaced and the next day my watch stopped working. I immediately sent it back to the manufacturer as I no longer trust this man to complete repairs on my watch, as damages have clearly occurred. When I called him to explain the situation he was extremely unprofessional and was incessantly yelling at me claiming I was framing him. I'm still unsure why anyone would "frame" someone over a 20 dollar battery. I guess this was all he could think of in order to not refund me my money. I would highly recommend never bringing a watch of value to this location, as I will now likely need to spend hundreds of dollars in repair. I went here regularly to change my watch batteries and they are always prompt and nice. Last time I went the battery lasted exactly one hour. My husband went back for me next day and they had the nerve to say I never brought that specific watch in as that was not their battery so I must have used receipt for a different watch and they were going to check their video! I would like to tell them PLEASE PLEASE check your video because maybe you never put in a new battery as this watch was a first time battery replacement as I'm 1000% certain you'll see that specific watch in the video. Unfortunately how they handled that situation will be reason to take my watches elsewhere as their attitude over $10 was ridiculous. Now they did refund my husband the battery fee and also said the watch had moisture in it which I took elsewhere (it's only 18 months old and good quality) and low and behold that battery works and no mention of moisture. read more

I have been a customer here for a few years mostly for replacement batteries and crystal for my watches. Recently I scratched up the wooden bezel of my favorite watch and the manufacturer sent me a replacement on two occasions that was just too small. When I brought it to the watch zone he was able to use his special watchmaking lathe and carve out the bezel to the proper size! Amazing work and my watch looks fantastic. He even adjusted the second bezel just in case I scratch my new one. And only charged me $25 total for the work. Apparently this tool is rare even among watchmakers. The service is fantastic, the work is fantastic, the prices are very fair and I highly recommend the watch zone to everyone! Bravo!! read more

After taking my son's watch band to a jeweler in Lafayette (Ware Designs) where he "sized" the band by removing a few links and then said that was all he could do when the band was still loose, I took it to Watch Zone today and a few minutes later the band fit perfectly.
