This is my first time posting reviews online because I have to let people know how terrible the experience I had there and be cautious. First of all, it was just a regular car maintenance like oil change. I arrived at 11am as scheduled with Freddy and was told it would be done in two hours. But on my arrival, they asked me to leave my car there for a day, which I could not. After a short talk, they reluctantly agreed to work on it soon and get it done by 2pm with a very rude voice. I went to a Cafe and waited. I went back at 2pm. Freddy told me the car was not ready yet and nobody was actually working on it. For no reason, he became very rude and said he had no idea when it would be done and he could not find the mechanic guy. Anyways, after another hour or so wait, a guy came over and checked my car for a couple of minutes and said it was done and ready to go. Honestly, God knows what they did to my car. They didn't even bother to explain what they did. " We did everything for you. Just leave now." Freddy was so impatient and rude to me. Honestly, I was so exhausted after waiting for four hours. I just wanted to get out of there. I jumped in and turned on my car. Unfortunately a sign popped up on the screen and showed something wrong with the engine. I came without any sign on the screen at all. Then I kindly asked Freddy to check whats going on with my car. He again lost his temper and didn't even take a look at the sign. He only tried to get me out of there. He even threatened me to call the cops... long story short. It was terrible! This was the worst service experience I have ever had in my life. Freddy is the most terrible person I have ever met in my life. So unprofessional and sick. I will never ever come back again. I need to find another place to see what's wrong with my car now. I hope this review can stick and remind people of my experience. Period. Thank you! read more

Do not come here for any car problems. They are mean, unprofessional and take FOREVER. They try to dismiss you and won't even explain anything like guess we gotta remind them we are PAYING you for your service & they need us more than we need them:) there's hundreds of other places so I just went to the another one & suggest u do the same, have fun losing business. read more

I have been coming to Freddy's garage for almost 9 years now, and just wanted to say that I am not going anywhere else to fix my car! Its hard to find a decent mechanic who will honestly tell you what the car needs, and does fix it for without breaking your bank! I just changed the engine at my honda,, and its still costed me less than buying a new car. I made a mistake of going somewhere else as I moved North and Quincy is way out of the way for me, but quickly learned that most of the mechanics will just try to get your $$! Definitely coming back, because I know their service, and can not beat their prices - why wasting time? Will recommend anyone to them, I have been sending all my friends there and they are all satisfied! Thank you Freddy!!!! read more

Family ( son, daughter, mom's and my car's) have been using Freddy's garage for years. Fair prices and honest (unusual in this world). So far they have done it all for us with flying colors. Feared the worse when bringing a car in that was 'very sick' but so far I've been pleasantly surprised that they always repaired it and has been below my personal guesstimate. Most recent time was for my mom's car. Brake lines rusted out in several places. We knew it's a complete remove/ replace all brake lines or a new car. My sister called in a panic saying who on earth could she trust to take care of our mom's brakes. I recommended Freddy's and she was still apprehensive... its mom so. I gave her my word to trust me... definitely here. Totally fixed and running safely all summer and he again surprised us with a fair-medium price. Honest? Yes! Once I had an annoying lamp that kept blowing occasionally. Replace fuses and bulbs several times. When it happened again I took it to Freddy's and expecting expensive electronic labor troubleshooting cost. But one of his mechanics noticed it was raining the day the bulb blew las. He followed and found a crack in the trunks rubber seal . Sealed it up with some silicon only charged me for a new bulb and said 'have a nice day!' My only trusted garage. read more

Anyone who owns a car has probably figured out that most mechanics are kinda shady. Doesn't matter if it's a cozy family owned shop or a dealership.. it just seems to be an industry that is more focused on bleeding a customer dry rather than earning their trust and patronage. However, I've actually never felt that this shop does business like that and that they always appreciated me as a customer. Freddy, the owner, has always been very honest with me in terms of what work needs to be done and if it's something that can be put off for a while or not. He has even found used parts for me in order to help me save a few bucks. When I got a new car and chose to go the dealership route due to warranty he still put my car on the lift to tell me what he thought needed to be done, gave me a quote less than what the dealership wanted, and even invited me to look at the underbody of my car to see what exactly was wrong with it. What great customer service!! I also always had them pump my gas and the guys remembered me and sometimes one of the mechanics or even Freddy would wave or come say hi. I think that's the key to finding a great mechanic.. if you establish yourself as a regular for routine things like gas, fluids, and oil changes, when you need one for something more substantial they will be much easier to work with. You can't really expect to pull up to a random auto shop with who knows what issues or over due routine maintenance and demand they "fix stuff" for the cheapest possible. Give them a car that they're already familiar with and they will be able to give you much better service! I'll honestly miss getting my gas here now that I've moved. read more

The guy that runs this place is a complete jerk. I went to him 6 weeks ago for an oil change and he told Me i needed a new radiator so I took his word for It and left the car with him for 2 days as he needed to order a brand new one, I paid him $400 and left. Well a week later my car starts to over heat so i take it back, he says he is too busy, drive away it's fine??? A week later I go back, he is on vacation (prob on my expense) his mechanic said its prob the thermostat so left it there and a few days later car is still over heating, go back again and he tells me car is fine drive away?? Last week I went back and asked (are ye going to fix my car or not) and he screamed at me if you pay me $1500 it needs a head gasket???? I'm like really since when? He said you still have a cracked radiator and your driving around with it overheating what do you expect???? I left and took the car to another garage and they told me I have a defected radiator with a bad connection or something like that and Freddy boy here was ripping me off, he never put in the (NEW RADIATOR) that he charged me $400 or do I need a $1500 head gasket..... What a joke. My Fiancé went down to speak to him about it and he called my fiancé a drunk irish piece of Sh#t and said he enjoyed taking our money and to take his piece of sh^t truck off his property.... He didn't want to hear anything my fiancé wanted to say about what was wrong with the car or admit he ripped us off. My advice DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. read more

this place is near my work.. I needed gas on my lunch break. My car was a little less than half a tank I asked for 20 and naturally with the cheap gas prices that they are that 20 fills up my 6 cylinder jeep. Turned my car on... my gas gage never moved from what it was before. They made me seem crazy that I had no idea what I was talking about.. I know my car I know my gas mileage and I know how much 20 gives me. Owner comes out and starts getting aggressive with me... mind you im a 23 year old female and any owner should treat a customer with respect. This man disrespected me swore at me and called me words no customer should ever be called... I went to weymouth to gas at a place THATS MORE EXPENSIVE asked for 20... filled my tank. Im not crazy and I didnt deserve that disrespect. It ruined my whole day......This place doesnt deserve business if their not willing to respect their customers. read more
