We ordered and had delivered ($4.00 delivery fee) a extra large pepperoni pizza and some of there special Foccacia bread. It took an hour for delivery and was $33 and change. Pizza was great and had a slight kick to it. The Foccacia bread wasn't good at all and we even ran to the store to try to buy marinara to see if that would help. Maybe it's an acquired taste. Just went in for two slices. An employee was training another that they don't care how the health department wants them to change gloves instead of washing their gloves. They said, "fuck the health department, just wash you hands with your gloves on.". I will not stop until this company is forced to care about their customers. BEST. PIZZA. EVER. This is the best cheese and pepperoni pizza I have ever had in my whole entire life. My whole family loves it! Every time I am in Port Townsend I get a slice for about $3.50. It is a bit pricey but I assure you that it is worth it. The environment of Waterfront is very different, it is your Port Townsend hippie goldmine. It's a little hole in the wall place, minimal seating on the street level but upstairs is more of a sit down and relax setting. The employees aren't the best dressed and the place isn't the cleanest, but you definitely don't want to judge a book by it's cover on this one! read more

My group headed to Waterfront Pizza after the Strange Brewfest on Saturday. We wanted to get away from the crowd and noise of the festival and we were lured in by the smell of this place all day when we had walked around the area. We climbed the stairs and were seated quite promptly, in a table which had just been vacated (SCORE!). We pretty much decided to get a pepperoni & sausage pizza. Of course, the first decision was WHAT kind of sausage? We ended up getting half of the sweeter and half of the spicier along with the pepperoni. They had a pretty great beer list and I'm always happy when I can find Lost Coast 8 Ball stout...anywhere. We enjoyed our time talking about the festival and life when our pizza showed up. Oh. My. World. It was absolutely wonderful. The sourdough crust is outstanding. the toppings were melty good and plentiful. This was NOT a greasy pizza, but an extremely flavorful one. The crust was light and perfect for bending up to eat properly. We grabbed a box for the leftovers to take to the hotel room. We checked out the next morning, walked around the downtown for a bit and grabbed one more pie to take for the ferry right back home. We hit the walk up downstairs this time. Two lively and funny chaps were working hard and got us exactly what we wanted. It was once again, perfect. I look forward to spending more time here when I go back to Port T again. read more

Amazing! Grew up eating this. It's the same as I remember with incredible sauce and sourdough crust.

Solid pizza. The sourdough crust is enjoyable, tangy sauce is yummy, and the cheese is delicious. We ordered a 12" half pepperoni, 1/2 something with mild green chiles, onions and tiny pieces of sausage. Both really good! The pepperoni was awesome. Next time I get it I plan to add one of their peppers. Pepperoni and peppers = heaven. The onions and the green chiles were great. Not sure about the sausage but overall it was a solid choice. I will definitely be coming here again and plan to bring friends. read more

I was not impressed by this place at all. At the recommendation of some locals, my family and I head out there on a busy Friday before the 4th of July. It's the middle of the day and they have run out of almost all pizzas by the slice. Next one available will take 12 minutes. So we go ahead and order the available ones. That confuses the counter guy. I'll admit, we were confusing, but he acted like a complete jerk about it. I apologized and he was still a piss about it. So i'm thinking i'm going to taste pizza heaven right? wrong. I got the pesto veggie pizza. Bland. Pesto pizza... bland? How is that possible??? It is.. Also, the crust was made out of sourdough (at least I"m hoping it was) because it tasted SO sour... and dry. Maybe their full order pizzas taste better. Who knows. Port Townsand seems to have had an interesting shift from prior years that I had gone there. The overall friendlyness and just plain old good service is at a significant increase. Well ok it was awesome before and now its awesome +. So we were walking down the street one day and realized that there were a lot of locals that were coming out to Waterfront Pizza with boxes of heavenly smells. We decided that the dinner the next night was going to at Waterfront Pizza. Much like most of Port Townsand there is a ton of history in this town and lots of places that want you to know it. Waterfront Pizza has been around for years and has really culivated it recipies. Also what was descrived at a century old sour dough start. All in all that place and the pizza was very good. I was impressed with just how well we were treated when we went upstairs to get a seat. Seeing that the pizza takes about 30 mins the waitress sugested that we order our pizza as there were no seats as of yet but by the time there was one the pizza would be done and delivered to the table. What a thought that way we did not have to wait to order. Frankly a simple solution. Any way this is an awesome place to go and enjoy a pie. read more

I get a slice everytime I come to town. Best pizza in the Pacific Northwest! It's a tiny, hole-in-the-wall place, and if you want take out, you have to wait out in the cold as they torture you with that delicious smell coming from their ovens. This is crazy good pizza! I try to stop in here for a slice every time I'm in Port Townsend. This past weekend we actually went upstairs to the little restaurant part and sat down for dinner. We had a Caesar salad and a Greek salad to start and then a humongous pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and black olives that was fantastic! So many toppings, hot, cheesy, melty deliciousness! I wanted to keep eating but it's a lot of food! The crust is perfect, sauce is wonderful and did I mention the hearty portions of toppings?! YUM! The 2 girls waiting on us were friendly, prompt and very helpful when we were deciding what to get. I love the artwork on the walls, wish I would have bought one of the pieces. One star for delivery to our campsite, and the other star for being so friendly! Unfortunately the pizza was a disappointment. The crust was thick and doughy. It was neither a thin or deep crust, just mediocre. The Portuguese pizza was topped with linguisa. The good news is it wasn't greasy as I feared, but I come from a background that knows linguisa and I've never had anything like what was on this pizza. It had an odd crumbly texture and bland in taste. We were hungry but didn't eat much, which says much about this pizza. Good pizza but sucky prices. Not only that, they seem to be math-challenged. The guy writing up the ticket was all over the map in pricing it out. We wanted the Waterfront 16" without mushrooms and instead substitute extra cheese. He went to the backroom to do some sort of calculation (was the math that difficult?). He then came back with a price of $40!!. Both my gf and I chimed at the same time, "no way!" When then realized he was going to charge us for the extra cheese. We asked for no cheese... he proceeded to go to the backroom again to do his magical mojo calculations and came back with a price of $32. Still way over-priced but we agreed. After we had already went home we looked at the menu again and realized if we ordered a pepperoni pizza with those extra topics we could have saved $8. Aaa yeah! Waterfont is holding it down. I eased into that delicious crispy sourdough crust with that classic herb-overload sauce yesterday: has not changed in 20 years! That kind of consistency over the years makes me wish I could add another star. Only a true Port Townsend-ite will start drooling at the mere mention of the name, "Waterfront Pizza". Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and I know my pizza. Whatever they put in the sauce, it's fantastic. The crust is not greasy and has the perfect texture. Toppings are heaping. The 16" pizza fed two hungry people twice over. It left me feeling satisfied and not gross as most pizza binging would. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the delivery time and price. We were less then a mile away and it took a little over an hour. It was also nearly 40 dollars for a 16" 3 topping pizza. That was the most I've ever paid for a pizza but I feel as if it was worth it. read more

Well, in a town full of cafes for the sophisticated palate, we opted for pizza as a family friendly meal, something everyone could enjoy. We went here based on reviews, but ours was not a great experience. We came mid week during lunch and there was only one other table seated. We ordered fairly quickly, then the place began to fill up. We ordered the extra large pizza based on the serving size the server explained to us. Then we waited, and waited. When the pizza finally arrived, and it took a very long time for that to happen, they were much larger than described so there was much too much pizza, and they had gotten one completely wrong, leaving us having to wait that much longer. To top it all off it was only so-so. All in all, this town does not have a lot of options for family dining, crossing this one off our list. read more

The cashier was being a female dog and told us that they only expect particular card the is bull s*** I'm pretty sure those awards have gotten to there head there facility is to tiny for the amount of Business they have I had to wait 20 minutes for them to tell me that the pizza I wanted was out of stock and that it would be ready in 20 minutes and I could not reserve my slice and I would have to wait another 20 minutes. If taste is what your looking for, then eat here! If your on a budget or a germaphobe, then move on... This place has the yummiest greek pizza and even the plain cheese has a unique flavor that I haven't had anywhere else. At the same time I rave about this place, I worry that the "unique flavor" might have something to do with all the employees taking smoke breaks out front and then not washing their hands when they go back in. There's nothing quite as stomach churning as watching your food being prepared by the same person who was just hacking loogies outside the front door. I guess the "no smoking, no spitting" sign they have posted, doesn't apply to the employees. The dough is supposed to be made from special hundred year old starter or something like that, but honestly, my home-made dough is just as good. The price is jawdropping. Seriously. $25 for a medium greek pizza. I paid almost $40 for a small cheese and medium greek. I almost didn't order due to sticker shock, but I had a car full of ravenous kids and the sheer addictiveness of that pizza won out. Now that I think of it.. It's great. It's pizza, it's above average in my opinion. And they have vegetarian pizza and you don't need to be a vegetarian to enjoy the veggie zaa since it's just as good as the meaty. Ordered pizza last night with my sister and took it outside next to the restaurant, to sit near the water. 2 slices and a water was very reasonable (just under $10) and the slices were large. The cheese I originally ordered was delicious, but the wind caused it to blow off my plate and onto the ground (lol!) 3 bites in, so I ended up going back for a slice of pepperoni & Italian sausage. The second slice was good, but I found it too salty. If I had more patience, I would have waited for more cheese to come out.
