We visited Watermark looking for some fresh fish. Upon walking in, we giggled at the 1992 Miami Vice decor. Our server, Billy, was very friendly and made sure we had what we needed. They ended up having a good surf and turf special so both my husband and I ordered that. The steak was flavorful and tender, as was the lobster tails. Our daughter ordered gluten-free pasta with marinara and steamed broccoli and she enjoyed it very much. Their cucumber Martini was also very good. Nice dinner with friends mid week The four entries were Shrimp stuffed with crab, Crab (3) cakes, grilled salmon, beef liver. Loved The Watermark. I visit Naples 4-5 times per year but had never been here. My mom loves it and recommended. It was a great dining experience. Love the atmosphere inside. Unique and tropical with a sense of class. Food was excellent. Had the surf and turf special. Steak medallions were awesome. Tasted entrees of my family members and they were all delicious. Nice summer special, free bottle of Beringer wine with purchase of two entrees. Decent value. Not the highest end wine, but I didn't mind. I've had much worse. Service was good. Probably not classify as great but was adequate and timely. Starkly professional. No complaints. I hear they don't take reservations. This is sometimes a deterrent for me as I hate to wait. Summer slow season, we got right in. But I will be back regardless, as I really enjoyed. There are 18,000 places to dine in Naples. But I recommend you give this one a try. Do not be fooled by the pretty lights and fountains. The service was terrible and the food was even worse. The bread felt like it was microwaved and the drinks were watered down. Ordered a ribeye steak and it looked like it was from Walmart and had no flavor and was over cooked. The sides were cold too. This restaurant is all show and no substance. They have a flashy cheese dish that they light on fire and that's about it. There are way better restaurants around here for the amount they charge that have way better food and service. read more

We called ahead to reserve a table for 5 people and it was ready on time. Our waiter was energetic and full of suggestions. I saw someone get a dish that was set on fire and I thought it was fish, but he explained that was actually cheese. Of course, we ordered one and it was very good. We also tried the calamari which was fine. The drinks are strong which I appreciated. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. I had the baked grouper special which was nice. My father had a seafood pasta which I tried and it was very rich and delicious. My aunt had the baked stuffed shrimp and it was excellent. Dessert was ok - I had the peanut butter chocolate cake, but perhaps the key lime pie is better. Coffee was good- not bitter like the Maxwell coffee at the house! I would go back! The wine is advertised from Napa and it's from northern hemisphere not Napa. Paid $70 a bottle and it's $21 on Vivino. This restaurant is operating on autopilot. This is a great place with incredibly good service. It appears to be a far more "local" location which makes it even more appealing as you do not have to interact with tourists. I had the coconut shrimp which was great. It is well known for great prime rib (although I do not eat Prime Rib.. it is known for that). I was a bit surprised at the limited menu and that is why I gave it only 4 stars. I ordered by phone for a pick up of 2 meals I was told they would be ready for pick up at a specific time when I arrived on time the woman at the desk told me the pick up time would be in 20 minutes. I waited patiently when I went back in to pick up I had to wait 15 more minutes until the woman at the desk checked the kitchen & finally went to the kitchen to get my take out food. Update: My 2nd Visit - this time we went for the grill. Got the 14oz Ribeye - was just average. Cooked perfectly, juicy but not very tasty (no seasoning). Outback was better for less $. Also got the baked shrimp with crabmeat. Told it was jumbo shrimp but they were small. Broccoli was bland. Service was great again, different waiter this go around. This is a 3.5 star place after 2 visits and 3 different entrees. Time to move on! read more
