Visiting from Ohio, we picked this place because of the views. Did not disappoint - the view of the bridge at night is spectacular! They have seating at the end of the pier to chill out which was very nice. We stayed there for awhile after we ate. We didn't have a reservation but we got sat right away at a high-top by the bar. Monday-Wednesday they have a limited menu so we just got some beef sliders, chicken sliders, and tacos. The food was decent, nothing special. So my man and I went here yesterday evening. I got the Cajun shrimp taco with fries on the side. He got the smash mini burger with fries. My food was ok. He loved the smash burger. When we got the bill, it showed the price for the meal, plus fees and taxes. So my bf was telling me that the fees are the gratuity. I was arguing with him that it wasn't. If it was the gratuity, it would say gratuity. When the waiter came by to pick up the money, I asked him and he did say fees mean gratuity. I feel like that is absolutely sneaky. It should say gratuity there on the bill instead of fees. A lot of customers wouldn't know that's the gratuity and think that it's fees for something else and overpay. Also the seating is absolutely uncomfortable. The seats are bar seats for a party less than 5 people. How are you supposed to be comfortable seating on a barstool eating? Waterside establishments in NYC are usually all hype (or at least mostly hype). People come for the views and the sea breeze, and just put up with the crappy and overpriced fare. Maybe it's because I came with these low expectations that allowed Watermark to pleasantly surprise me. When I came with my friend on a beautiful summer Thursday night, we had to wait about 15 mins for a table. There is an indoor area with a bar, but why would you? We sat at a small table for 2 outside, where the energy was lively and the views of the water and Bk Bridge were really great. The mixed drinks here were lame; flavors were not well-balanced. However, the food was surprisingly tasty. My friend and I shared a guacamole, I had the salmon burger, and she had the veggie burger. The guac was standard, but the salmon burger was very flavorful and (most shockingly) juicy! When I was ordering, I asked the waiter to ask the chef to cook the salmon burger on the rarer side, and it came out perfectly. My friend also enjoyed her veggie burger, which actually looked like there were veggies in it. And finally, there's the beautiful view. The Watermark is positioned in the center of the pier, so you won't be sitting literally next to the water. But you still get sun and a very nice breeze on a nice day, so it is definitely worth a visit! read more

Always have gone by this location but haven't actually visited til recently. Best to make reservations, and we were told there are some that are paid. We did the free reservation since we came by during happy hour which was 4-6, I believe the later timeslots are paid. Beautiful location and view of the surrounding area on the pier. The waiter was friendly and we were able to make our order quick. The drinks were good and we loved the food. We came around sunset so it was a bit warmer, but it also helped they had a heater within the space we were sat. There was an issue with my drink which was corrected quickly. Our waiter was hella swaggy (didn't catch his name but he had tats on his fingers & looked like he belonged on a yacht in Mykonos) he was extremely attentive & helpful. My only issue.... I gave this place a second chance and it was well worth it. The service was fantastic , very timely and the food was great. The tacos were from the grill and you could tell very fresh and well seasoned ! The tortillas were also fresh. The truffle fries were nice and crispy and the salad with the salmon had a citrus lemon flavor which was great. The view was amazing and the drinks were solid. A group of friends and I attended your event on July 4th. We all purchased the VIP tickets and were very excited knowing we'd be able to have a place to all spend time together for the 4th. Upon arrival, we were met with disappointment. With having purchased VIP tickets my expectation was that we'd be able to be let into your event. We were told we'd have to wait for entrance as you didn't have enough guards, which shows me you did not staff this event properly. While we were waiting we watched others who had no tickets walk right onto the pier, this was beyond frustrating. After waiting to enter for 10-15 minutes we were able to get in. The disorganization within the event was obvious upon entering. There was no clear flow of where to go for food or drinks, what areas people could sit within etc. Our entire group described the event as chaotic and messy. I went up to the food area and to the bar and asked for water, I was told you did not have water. I asked if I could purchase water, again I was met with the answer that you had no bottled water for purchase. As an Event Planner myself in the state of NY, it is illegal for you to serve alcohol and not provide the option to give your attendees tap water. Now I was willing to pay for water and was still denied. For these reasons, we left the event and went to a nearby restaurant. This event was poorly executed and planned but most of all, it was UNSAFE. I am asking you to please refund the 2 tickets I purchased as not only were we inconvenienced but we truly did not feel safe being in a venue where I was denied water considering the heat and that you were serving alcohol. read more

It's the middle of January and the pandemic is in full effect (again? still?) - this place is a great antidote to cabin fever. Get yourself a private cabin out on their pier and enjoy the sunset and city lights. Our server was really great and came by every 20mins to check on us - mind you, the temps were in the 20s and this guy worked his tail off. Us, we read some reviews and knew that the little space heater wasn't going to be enough - so bundle up and you'll have a wonderful time. It's a bar, so expect great drinks! (I highly recommend the "Gold on the Ceiling"). Food is, you know, bar food. Decent, but nothing to write home about. Side tip, pay the reservation for a VIP cabin. It's worth not waiting in line. PERFECT FOR DATE NIGHT/GALS NIGHT OUT: Came across watermark from TikTok and we ended up doing a collaboration together for their winter season Glasshouses. The ambiance is Awesome. Vibes were immaculate! Proof of VACCINATION ID is required. The igloos are cleaned and sanitized after each persons visit in the igloos. I cannot imagine this place in the spring and summer. I felt like I was in Santa's workshop. It was so adorable besides the views of the Brooklyn bridge right on the water, the service was impeccable. We worked with Sophie, Malik , Kora and Raymond and they were ALL fantastic. I cannot say more great things about the people who work there and the overall experience my gals and I had. They made sure our igloo was safe to enter as Covid has been risky at the current moment. For drinks we got a spiked apple cider with rum (which was FANTASTIC), blackberry bite and cider-Rita. We ordered a charcuterie board, wagyu pigs in a blanket, French onion beef sliders, tuna tartar, lobster ravioli and a s'mores kit. Thanks again so much for making this experience so amazing. Cute spot for photos but lord help you, do not order their food, expect any service, or a sanitary place to use the restroom. The glass house (actually plastic) for dining requires reservations and cost $20-25pp tickets. Their food is embarrassing to serve and way too expensive for a place that I've already paid to sit down in. Truffle fries $14 and your entree options consist of a burger, or a burger - tasteless but not dry. The service was non existent and very slow. Restrooms are located in ANOTHER building and is similar to a dirty public restroom. And last but not least, are you ready? There are RATS crawling around outside your glass house at the pier. Not one, not two, but at the span of our dinner reservation we saw 1-2 every 20-30minutes or so while we were dining. That my friends, is the ultimate deal breaker.
