    Benny flight!
    Tiffany S.

Came here for the benny (Eggs Benedict) flight, but we had a really underwhelming experience for a place with such good reviews! During our breakfast/brunch experience, we found out that they had a whole breakfast buffet (with an omelet station). No idea about the price point, but it looked pretty fresh and it was about 50/50 people ordering from the menu vs. buffet. Service was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush. It was so slow that our host took our drink orders - curious but appreciate her! The Watertable Bloody Mary was disappointing. The flavors just weren't there as it tasted watery. Also, I know a collins glass is traditional - but in 2026, we like our bloody marys in pint glasses with a few more toppings please. The Benedict flight was great - it came with the: Crab & Avocado (lump crab meat, crushed avocado, lime-cilantro hollandaise, micro cilantro, cracked pink peppercorns) Short Rib (Short Rib Hash, potatoes, carrots, red pearl onions, peppers, haricot vert, red pepper parsley hollandaise) SoCa (cornbread waffle, fried chicken, maple slaw, poached eggs, jalapeño bacon hollandaise) First, the poach on all the eggs was perfect and spot-on. Flavor-wise, Crab & Avocado was the best. I think this may be their top seller too as they got it down a science - the ratios, the crisp edge of the english muffin but soft interior. The Soca was interesting - more hushpuppy like to me. The short rib was very bland. We were staying at the hotel, otherwise I would not make a trip out here for breakfast/brunch. The evening might be a whole different vibe though as there's live music!

    8oz Chilean Seabass

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a couple of nights and decided to have dinner at Watertable. Our experience here was amazing! To start off we ordered the creamer potato cakes and the summertime sour cocktail which I was really impressed with. The potato cakes were made really well with the right amount of crisp and the truffle sauce it came with was delicious. I got the Chilean seabass with cauliflower while my wife got the prime hangar steak. I enjoyed my seabass, which I took the servers recommendation in going with the butter sauce sautéed. The sauce went really well with the seabass, it melted in your mouth and was a real highlight. Would recommend the cauliflower side as well! Service was very friendly and accommodating although our main dishes did take some time to come out. It was well worth the wait though and I highly recommend dining here if you're looking for an upscale experience in Huntington Beach!

Bit sad writing this review because I've loved Watertable for years. I've been so many times and it's always been solid. This was my first visit back after a long break, and it was shockingly disappointing. Every dish was just...off. The charred Baja prawns were overcooked to the point of being chewy. Weirdly, whatever was underneath them was better than the shrimp themselves. The whipped ricotta with marinated mushrooms wasn't whipped at all. The mushrooms were cold and the whole dish felt disjointed and strange. The grilled baby lamb chops were overcooked and wasn't even grilled. The seared scallops came loaded with a bunch of random stuff that didn't work together. It felt like ingredients thrown on a plate without a clear direction, and it tasted just as confusing. I was excited about the cauliflower rice paella because I love both cauliflower and paella but somehow it leaned sweet. Sweet. That's not what I'm looking for in paella. The only bright spot was the oyster. Fresh and simple. Exactly what it needed to be. Ramone was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and professional. Service wasn't the issue at all. But the food this time missed the mark across the board which is hard to say because this place used to be a favorite. I really hope this was just an off night. Ugh. Overall, expensive and disappointing.

Came here for breakfast about 20 minutes before it closed. Ordered the classic quiche Lorraine, which was absolutely and positively delicious. The Swiss cheese really came through. It was light and fluffy. The crusted was perfect. The side salad had arugula, avocado, cherry tomato and was light. I also got the side of fresh fruit, which was at the appropriate amount and all the berries were at the right ripeness. For my drink I got a half orange half grapefruit mixed and both juices were fresh. Was the best breakfast of the trip.

We came here for the weekend. Overall a very nice resort with this nice restaurant inside. The wait was about 20-30 minutes. You have the option of sitting inside or outside (with ocean view.) Our server was amazing, thank you Ricardo! He was attentive and very accommodating. He checked on us multiple times even though he was noticeably busy with many other tables. He walked around with a smile and was kind with his words. They have a buffet and individual option menu items. I appreciated that they gave us the option to order menu items since not all of us wanted to commit to buffet. The food options were great with a little bit of everything from savory to sweets, to simple scrambled eggs and omelet options. The restaurant inside is clean and organized. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a sit down breakfast spot. It is very conveniently located inside Huntington Hyatt Regency hotel.

Conveniently located inside the Hyatt Huntington Beach, Water Table is a winner! Good menu, extensive wine list, and prime spot overlooking the pier. Indoor and outdoor patio seating - we loved it. Server was attentive and friendly. Plus, kids menu's a hit with the little ones (my 3.5 and 7-year-old loved the options!). Great experience overall.

Food, Service & Ambiance was really good! Great choices for children. Breakfast & Lunch. They have a buffet option in the AM too. We did not do that.

We were staying at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach as Globalists and had breakfast included in our stay. Our complimentary value was $32 per person for four people and it was more than enough to satiate our appetites for breakfast. For coffee, we had the: - Lavendar Honey Latte: Really tasty lavender notes. A bit too sweet, but to be expected. I regret not trying Pete's Cup Cappuccino, but will next time! For the benedicts, we had the: - Short Rib Hash: Delicious morsels of short rib that had a fantastic seasoning. They were super tender. - SoCa: The fried chicken had a perfect crunch and the cornbread waffle was super tasty, albeit a little filling. For the kids: - Smores French Toast: Super sweet and the kids loved it but it was messy! - Brûléed Oatmeal: Our son loves oatmeal and demanded to have it. Very pretty oatmeal dish, but way too sweet for our liking. It was fun to eat, though! We decided to try some more stuff for later since we were only staying one night: - Brioche French Toast: It had matcha butter cream this time which was super decadent. - Zesty Lemon-Blueberry Pancakes: The honeycomb butter was a cool addition that piqued our kids interest. All in all a solid breakfast with inventive dishes. While everything was a bit too sweet for our tastes, we still enjoyed it! Also, props to our server for dealing with our large order!

    The works...

Wonderful, fantastic brunch. We've gone two days in a row! The salmon is truly amazing. Also, the roasted salted almonds. Great bagels. Fresh blueberries, and fruit good egg dishes. Give it a try. It's worth it!

Joanna is an excellent services who checked on us multiple times, was kind, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is very good. Plated nicely and yummy! Breakfast - fingerling potatoes, bacon, scrambled eggs, pancake (side order). The potatoes are flavorful with grilled onions, excellent quality bacon and ham.

Had a wonderful experience last night. Donna was our server and she was amazing. Everyone there is so friendly and attentive, including the blonde hostess, who let us sit at a larger table even though we were a party of 2 so we wouldn't be all cramped. There was a nice ambiance to the place, not too busy and not empty - 7pm reservation on a Wednesday. Meal starts with complimentary warm bread with sea salt and a side of butter. It did not disappoint and we could have skipped the flatbread. I must premise that I love all things burrata so my eyes immediately went to the burrata and tomato salad. Refreshing and delicious. Chilean sea bass was recommended as the best item on the menu so I went with that and was quite happy with it. I would prefer less mashed potatoes and more grilled veggies but that's just personal preference. I ordered the geisha's blessing that included coconut, gin and strawberry. Small and frothy. Was okay, but nothing exceptional. He ordered Jalisco water which wasn't bad either but I'd probably skip the cocktails. Too full for dessert but beautiful location and great place to walk around afterward to enjoy the scene.

Only reason this wasn't a 5 star was because service was lacking. Our server was not the quickest or fastest. Always had to find someone to help with something. The food was really delicious and flavorful! We ordered 4 dishes and the BEST was the SoCa!!! It's a must! I also really liked the short ribs as it was a very flavorful dish! Parking is validated and costs $10 for 3 hours!

The pesto sauce was very good. - Ribeye House Butchered Cut: I ordered mine Black & Blue (aka Pittsburg Style) which can be difficult. They did a very good job with it. Outside had good crunchy sear in most areas and soft tender rare inside. It was generously seasoned topped with compound butter. I subbed the garlic fries for mash potatoes which was just okay. Overall, very impressed. Steak is my favorite. - Picanha: Flat Iron Steak topped with chimichuri. Ordered medium rare and it came out cooked perfect. Very soft and tender pieces. The garlic fries were very good and the arugula salad had a nice blend of citrusy and savory flavor. Overall, the food was great. Lots of seasoning and flavors. We were celebrating a birthday so they brought out a complimentary chocolate cake and ice cream. Very nice gesture. Another note; Service was great and the manager also walked the floor the entire time to check in on guests, run food, clear tables when needed and helped his staff. He order the regular ribeye. The wait specifically asked if he wanted the bone-in or regular. He again said regular and added " no bone." He also stated he like it rare but not raw since his last few tries at other places were way undercooked. The steak came bone-in. We pointed this out and the waiter joked, and asked for the regular. He stated you get a significantly bigger steak now for the same price. That's 10 ozs for free. He cut in and the edges were cook rare, but the middle and especially along the bone was cold/raw. The offered to re-cook it, but everyone knows that just dries it out. He ate the edges and took the rest home to re-cook as leftovers. When the bill came, the waiter charged us for the bone-in! We had to ask for this to be corrected. This speakeasy is known for taking your cell phone and having a no photo policy. So when they didnt take our phones, we thought we were being sneaky with taking photos. Turns out on Sundays, it is their relaxed day where you are allowed to keep your phone, and they have the side door out onto PCH open. I loved this, but also hated it if I am being honest. PCH is so loud with motorcycles non stop, and it made the room very light. It didnt really feel like a speakeasy as you could enter right off the street. We entered through the hostess stand at HQ Gastropub. I had asked one of the hostesses what we needed to do and she stated she just arrived for work and I would have to ask another hostess when they came up to the stand. Bit weird, not the friendliest welcome, but the staff inside Graceland made up for that. The hostess lets them know we are there and someone comes out to take us back to the red door in the middle of the restaurant down a hall of colored barrels. I also had a sip of my friends drinks and they were DELICIOUS! We did order food, and I ordered the spicy garlic edamame but never received it. I also was not charged for it, so it is what it is. I want to preface by saying that my first experience with The Bungalow was in January 2022 at the…read moreSanta Monica location and didn't go well for various reasons, so this redo at the location in Huntington Beach along the PCH was a significant improvement, but I still think the experience could've been better. My friend and I got in line to come here after getting a first round of drinks at neighboring Treehouse on PCH during our girls' night out. The wait was approximately an hour at midnight on a Saturday leaving us with about another hour to party after entering. I got my friend and I our second round of drinks. She wanted the Strawberry Letter 23, and I decided to go with the Floral Laurel. The drinks were surprisingly really good for stand-up bar cocktails. We took them outside to chill on the patio, soak up some heat from the fire pit, and people watch. The vibes were solid, and this is exactly the sort of venue I would come to with my friends back home in San Francisco. The reason I deducted a star from my rating is that security and the crowd could be better. Interactions with the bouncers inside the building were hostile and unfriendly. In San Francisco, the bouncers/security are typically nice and helpful, but here they were rude and brusque. No issues with the bartender who served us though. Overall mixed experience, but I'd come again for the fun beach party scene.

At first i thought okay let me be patient so i waited, then when i leaned in and said "excuse me". she looked into my eyes and just turned away with no smile or acknowledgment. You can tell by the way someone looks at you if they want to engage. she was not gonna serve me. To test her, i left and sent my white female friend to go to her specifically and get a drink...not even a min later she had the beers. So idk what her problem was with me (a beautiful brown skinned male), but i hope she gets over it cause i will be back to ask for another beer.

Upon parking and walking it, I couldn't believe how wide open and large it is. With seatings inside and outside, high ceiling and a bar in the middle of the restaurant, it's quite a modern decor restaurant. They have a HH from 2-5pm or so, we took advantage of it. We also ordered a few things from their regular menu as well. Service was great. Not a lot of ppl at the time we sat but I actually can see the restaurant and the staff's interaction. Very attentive and all the waiters seem to help other tables and not just their assigned tables, so we appreciate it when we didn't see our waitress. Lychee martinis, dangerously good. We had a few. All the food items are all fresh and tasted great. I actually enjoyed the truffles chicken salad a lot. The fries were amazing. Dim sum items were good too. Food prices are on a higher end but you babe to realized it's not a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant you're going to eat. It's a nice modern spot we enjoyed a good meal and nice conversation.
