    Benny flight!
    Tiffany S.

Came here for the benny (Eggs Benedict) flight, but we had a really underwhelming experience for a place with such good reviews! During our breakfast/brunch experience, we found out that they had a whole breakfast buffet (with an omelet station). No idea about the price point, but it looked pretty fresh and it was about 50/50 people ordering from the menu vs. buffet. Service was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush. It was so slow that our host took our drink orders - curious but appreciate her! The Watertable Bloody Mary was disappointing. The flavors just weren't there as it tasted watery. Also, I know a collins glass is traditional - but in 2026, we like our bloody marys in pint glasses with a few more toppings please. The Benedict flight was great - it came with the: Crab & Avocado (lump crab meat, crushed avocado, lime-cilantro hollandaise, micro cilantro, cracked pink peppercorns) Short Rib (Short Rib Hash, potatoes, carrots, red pearl onions, peppers, haricot vert, red pepper parsley hollandaise) SoCa (cornbread waffle, fried chicken, maple slaw, poached eggs, jalapeño bacon hollandaise) First, the poach on all the eggs was perfect and spot-on. Flavor-wise, Crab & Avocado was the best. I think this may be their top seller too as they got it down a science - the ratios, the crisp edge of the english muffin but soft interior. The Soca was interesting - more hushpuppy like to me. The short rib was very bland. We were staying at the hotel, otherwise I would not make a trip out here for breakfast/brunch. The evening might be a whole different vibe though as there's live music!

    8oz Chilean Seabass

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a couple of nights and decided to have dinner at Watertable. Our experience here was amazing! To start off we ordered the creamer potato cakes and the summertime sour cocktail which I was really impressed with. The potato cakes were made really well with the right amount of crisp and the truffle sauce it came with was delicious. I got the Chilean seabass with cauliflower while my wife got the prime hangar steak. I enjoyed my seabass, which I took the servers recommendation in going with the butter sauce sautéed. The sauce went really well with the seabass, it melted in your mouth and was a real highlight. Would recommend the cauliflower side as well! Service was very friendly and accommodating although our main dishes did take some time to come out. It was well worth the wait though and I highly recommend dining here if you're looking for an upscale experience in Huntington Beach!

    Grilled Baby Lamb Chops*

Bit sad writing this review because I've loved Watertable for years. I've been so many times and it's always been solid. This was my first visit back after a long break, and it was shockingly disappointing. Every dish was just...off. The charred Baja prawns were overcooked to the point of being chewy. Weirdly, whatever was underneath them was better than the shrimp themselves. The whipped ricotta with marinated mushrooms wasn't whipped at all. The mushrooms were cold and the whole dish felt disjointed and strange. The grilled baby lamb chops were overcooked and wasn't even grilled. The seared scallops came loaded with a bunch of random stuff that didn't work together. It felt like ingredients thrown on a plate without a clear direction, and it tasted just as confusing. I was excited about the cauliflower rice paella because I love both cauliflower and paella but somehow it leaned sweet. Sweet. That's not what I'm looking for in paella. The only bright spot was the oyster. Fresh and simple. Exactly what it needed to be. Ramone was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and professional. Service wasn't the issue at all. But the food this time missed the mark across the board which is hard to say because this place used to be a favorite. I really hope this was just an off night. Ugh. Overall, expensive and disappointing.

We came here for the weekend. Overall a very nice resort with this nice restaurant inside. The wait was about 20-30 minutes. You have the option of sitting inside or outside (with ocean view.) Our server was amazing, thank you Ricardo! He was attentive and very accommodating. He checked on us multiple times even though he was noticeably busy with many other tables. He walked around with a smile and was kind with his words. They have a buffet and individual option menu items. I appreciated that they gave us the option to order menu items since not all of us wanted to commit to buffet. The food options were great with a little bit of everything from savory to sweets, to simple scrambled eggs and omelet options. The restaurant inside is clean and organized. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a sit down breakfast spot. It is very conveniently located inside Huntington Hyatt Regency hotel.

Came here for breakfast about 20 minutes before it closed. Ordered the classic quiche Lorraine, which was absolutely and positively delicious. The Swiss cheese really came through. It was light and fluffy. The crusted was perfect. The side salad had arugula, avocado, cherry tomato and was light. I also got the side of fresh fruit, which was at the appropriate amount and all the berries were at the right ripeness. For my drink I got a half orange half grapefruit mixed and both juices were fresh. Was the best breakfast of the trip.

Conveniently located inside the Hyatt Huntington Beach, Water Table is a winner! Good menu, extensive wine list, and prime spot overlooking the pier. Indoor and outdoor patio seating - we loved it. Server was attentive and friendly. Plus, kids menu's a hit with the little ones (my 3.5 and 7-year-old loved the options!). Great experience overall.

We were staying at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach as Globalists and had breakfast included in our stay. Our complimentary value was $32 per person for four people and it was more than enough to satiate our appetites for breakfast. For coffee, we had the: - Lavendar Honey Latte: Really tasty lavender notes. A bit too sweet, but to be expected. I regret not trying Pete's Cup Cappuccino, but will next time! For the benedicts, we had the: - Short Rib Hash: Delicious morsels of short rib that had a fantastic seasoning. They were super tender. - SoCa: The fried chicken had a perfect crunch and the cornbread waffle was super tasty, albeit a little filling. For the kids: - Smores French Toast: Super sweet and the kids loved it but it was messy! - Brûléed Oatmeal: Our son loves oatmeal and demanded to have it. Very pretty oatmeal dish, but way too sweet for our liking. It was fun to eat, though! We decided to try some more stuff for later since we were only staying one night: - Brioche French Toast: It had matcha butter cream this time which was super decadent. - Zesty Lemon-Blueberry Pancakes: The honeycomb butter was a cool addition that piqued our kids interest. All in all a solid breakfast with inventive dishes. While everything was a bit too sweet for our tastes, we still enjoyed it! Also, props to our server for dealing with our large order!

Food, Service & Ambiance was really good! Great choices for children. Breakfast & Lunch. They have a buffet option in the AM too. We did not do that.

I came to this restaurant over six times over the span of five days for breakfast and dinner. I would say the food here is pretty decent, but the service is definitely a hit or miss. It takes a long time to get seated no matter what time you visit and Once you are seated at the service is very slow. I would not recommend coming here unless you have an extra 30 minutes to an hour on top of your dining time. This is one of the only dining options at the hotel and is just decent. The steak for dinner is good and breakfast the salmon bowl or variety Benedict choices are good.

    The works...

Wonderful, fantastic brunch. We've gone two days in a row! The salmon is truly amazing. Also, the roasted salted almonds. Great bagels. Fresh blueberries, and fruit good egg dishes. Give it a try. It's worth it!

Joanna is an excellent services who checked on us multiple times, was kind, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is very good. Plated nicely and yummy! Breakfast - fingerling potatoes, bacon, scrambled eggs, pancake (side order). The potatoes are flavorful with grilled onions, excellent quality bacon and ham.

Do you have celiac sage dishes and can you seat large parties?

    Do you deliver?

Delivery for room service but do not recommend. It is best you are there. It seems they are less concern of ppl offering to be delivered. But if you're there, they would do a better job when preparing and serving the food.

Do they validate parking for dinner?

Yes they do, as I have experienced. However there is a minimum amount you must spend at the restaurant if you are yo get the reduced rate parking. When I received my validation after spending the appropriate amount, my parking was gratis (free).

Casual for breakfast/brunch. Business casual for dinner.

    Dog allowed

    Nope

Is it kid friendly, worth it at its price and delicious?

It is kid friendly! My husband and I always have a hard time finding a nice place to celebrate special occasions in with good menu for our son. Ruth's Chris was yummy but the ambiance is too uptight for young ones! This place has a comfortable…

We looooved the food and drinks we ordered. I got the ube drink and really enjoyed it. We also ordered apps for happy hour! We got the crispy rice tuna tower, artichoke hearts, and brussel sprouts, all were incredible! Service- 2/10. We loved the restaurant and the food, but our waiter Josh made us feel really uncomfortable. Josh was friendly when we sat down but he continuously told us what we would or wouldn't like. We appreciate recommendations, but it felt very pushy to order what he likes vs what we wanted. I also wanted a second opinion on what drinks were recommended so I asked the bar tender. Josh roughly asked me why I would do that and told me NOT to go anywhere else for recommendations but him. The rest of the night he completely ignored me. He ignored me to the point where my friend asked me if he was deliberately ignoring me because he's upset, she could even tell. He wouldn't look at me, and when we ordered food, he asked her for her order and left before asking me what I wanted to order. The next time he came back my friend had to go out of her way to tell him that he didn't take my order. When I said what I wanted to eat, he only addressed my friend and said he would work on it. When he delivered our drinks, he wouldn't look at me and delivered my drink to my friend, who then had to slide it over to me. She then told him that we were celebrating my birthday, in which he congratulated her for and when he brought the cake, he put it in front of her and lit the candle for her, even though she made it very clear it was for my birthday. It was sooooo awkward. He made both of us feel very uncomfortable, with him deliberately ignoring me, and with him over the top only looking at and talking to her. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Gorgeous view, very clean, and a good amount of space. The restrooms are very nice and very clean. They have a parking garage right downstairs that they validate for so parking is super easy! We love the restaurant and the food, but unfortunately we had such an uncomfortable experience with Josh that I won't be back

We all know what the Four seasons are…read more.. (Meanwhile, us California's are all googling what seasons the other 49 states actually get)... You know: Spring, Summer, Fall (Autumn) and Winter And I can almost bet you, that every last one of you, if I asked, would have your favorite season picked out and would of course, have the exact reason as to why it was your fav. Of course, we would get the... "I absolutely love Spring time because everything is in bloom." Or "I can't wait till this summer because I just love going out to the lake with the fam." Or "I'll never forget seeing Vermont in Autumn with all of the changing of the colors. Man was it breathtaking." Or Every East Coaster saying, "I just can't wait for Winter to show it's beautiful face and dump extreme amounts of snow just so it can brighten up my day" ...said no New Yorker ever! That's right, there are seasons that we all love and look forward to, but sometimes, there are also seasons that some of us just dread. Well, this past Spring... Although the flowers were all in bloom and my favorite season, Summer, which was just around the corner... The season I'm about to drop on you is not one from above, but I have a feeling you're gonna like it. Yes! My family and I, well mainly my wife and I, celebrated a season that I know most of you just might say is your NEW favorite season.... I'm talkin' Agave Season!!! Yeah, you know, that Blue Agave plant which is where a little thing called Tequila is derived from. And tequila my friends, when drinking straight, shot after shot, is the reason that some, most, well, pretty much all of us, usually make some bad decisions.... But.... If you just happen to mix that silver or gold tequila with a little lime juice, orange liqueur, a splash of sweetener and some salt on the rim... That my friends is a Margarita and NO bad decision has ever come out of ordering a Margarita EXCEPT not ordering a second one ;) Well this Spring, while in Huntington Beach on Spring Break for our kids school, we decided the Season of Agave was upon us and what better time to celebrate it than the present. Yes, Agave Seasons Mexican restaurant was just a short walk from the Hyatt Regency Resort where we called home for a few days and it was just what we needed after lounging around all day at the pool. So of course, first things first, we each ordered ourselves a Margarita... A little complimentary chips n salsa followed.. And instantly I was transported to my happy place. From there, it was Sizzling Fajita city and boy did they sizzle. Served with all the expected sides (rice, beans, pico, guac, sour cream & warm tortillas.... Yeah, I was a happy boy! The food was good, the service was standard and the salsa had a kick. Overall, it was a decent meal & it did the job. So... The next time you are craving a Marg... Don't stress if it's not a hot summer day. And definitely Don't stress if it is a chilly Winter evening. Cause no matter the reason, & no matter the season. It's ALWAYS Margarita 'o clock at Agave Seasons!

This speakeasy is known for taking your cell phone and having a no photo policy. So when they didnt take our phones, we thought we were being sneaky with taking photos. Turns out on Sundays, it is their relaxed day where you are allowed to keep your phone, and they have the side door out onto PCH open. I loved this, but also hated it if I am being honest. PCH is so loud with motorcycles non stop, and it made the room very light. It didnt really feel like a speakeasy as you could enter right off the street. We entered through the hostess stand at HQ Gastropub. I had asked one of the hostesses what we needed to do and she stated she just arrived for work and I would have to ask another hostess when they came up to the stand. Bit weird, not the friendliest welcome, but the staff inside Graceland made up for that. The hostess lets them know we are there and someone comes out to take us back to the red door in the middle of the restaurant down a hall of colored barrels. Typically that is the only place you are allowed to take a photo before you hand over your phone. Back to the service. The bartender was AMAZING. She was so friendly and just amazing. Our waitress was great too, they were both helping us out. I wish I got the bartenders name, she was such a ray of sunshine and sparkle. Literally, she had a sequin top on and the sun hitting it put sparkle across the entire room. I had two glasses of chardonnay that were delicious. I also had a sip of my friends drinks and they were DELICIOUS! We did order food, and I ordered the spicy garlic edamame but never received it. I also was not charged for it, so it is what it is. The sushi nachos were good, as well as the beignets. I am not going to share the photos I took here, because I feel they want to keep it a surprise and I honor that. I would like to come back another time when the door is not open, it is darker and more private for the full speakeasy experience.

We've been here a few times before and always thought it was decent. So, we made the last minute reservation online and got here 15 minutes early. When we arrived, there was a short line, but per the reservation instructions, one of my friends went in to check in while we waited outside. Friend: Hi, I'm checking in for a reservation. Bartender: What time is your reservation. Friend: 10 Bartender: What time is it now? Friend: 9:45 Bartender: Then I'll see you at 10pm. Friend came back annoyed and explained what happened. The bartender didn't say it in a joking way, but with attitude and annoyance. Most staff would respond "Thank you for checking in, we will let you know when your table is available." We weren't going to let this ruin our night, so we waited and were seated by the hostess. The bar itself is dimly lit and very tight. The music was loud enough that we had to almost yell to hear each other. The waiter came by soon after and was extremely friendly. We said we'd been here a few times before, but it's been a while. He refreshes our memory by saying they specialize making variations of classics. They want customers to focus on the flavors and that's why the menu doesn't list the spirit in their drinks. Also, they only make drinks on the menu because their drinks are prebatched/premade. We ask for recommendations which he was happy to give. We each order a drink and a snack for the table. As we're talking (very loudly so we can hear each other), we lose track of time before we realize that it's been 20 minutes and we haven't gotten our drinks yet. For something that's prebatched, it shouldn't take long. Before we can flag down the waiter, he comes by and apologizes that they lost our order and had to put it back in. We appreciate the honesty and say it's no problem. 5 minutes later, our drinks and food arrives. He again apologizes for the wait and has a second order of our food that he's including for free. Honestly we were ok with just the apology, but extra food too? Hell yea. Sounds like it was turning around. The drinks were okay. Not amazing, but definitely above average 3.8 / 5. The snack, bread and butter, were surprisingly good. 4.5 / 5 When we asked for the check, the waiter brought the credit card reader and told us we can swipe our card any time and left it on our table. We look at the bill and realize the waiter not only gave us the 2nd snack for free, but comp'd 2 of the drinks also. We all agree this waiter is GREAT. So why the 2 stars? Well first let me say, I would leave it at 1 star, but the waiter definitely earned them another. We wanted to pay cash, so we waited for him to come back. Instead, the original rude bartender comes by and realizes we haven't paid yet. We ask if we can pay with cash. He explains that they don't accept cash. Friend: Are you sure? *Proceeds to try to insert cash into the chip reader slot* Bartender: You're pretty stupid, aren't you? Friend: Maybe if I swipe it instead *Doubles down and proceeds to swipe the cash through the magnetic strip reader* Bartender: Wow, you really are stupid. My friend is a 100% a goofball and having fun with the bartender. It was OBVIOUS that he was joking. Was it funny? A little. Was it stupid? 100%. But for the bartender or ANY customer service staff to call a paying customer "stupid", that's simply unacceptable. We're all pretty pissed at this point and simply swipe the card and the bartender leaves. As I said earlier, we've come here a few times. We don't live especially close, but when we're in the area, we would always consider coming here. Now, there's no chance. For any business, even if your drinks and food are great, customer service can easily DESTROY your experience and that's exactly what the bartender did. Note to the male bartender with no hair: You really shouldn't be interacting with customers. You were rude from the start and have no sense of humor. Could you be having a bad day? Sure, but that's not an excuse to be rude to customers. I know management saw my original post because it was removed, probably because I referred to the bartender by his hairstyle (or lack thereof) multiple times. If they rather remove my post than deal with their bartender, that's another sign to avoid this place.

Another ordered the bone-in rib eye medium and it also came out well. That same person ordered a hot fudge Sunday for dessert and they brought the Sunday without hot fudge. By the time we were able to make eye contact with our waiter, it had completely melted. The waiter joked about forgetting the hot fudge and rather than bring a new Sundae, he just brought the fudge. I guess we were just supposed to make a milkshake with it? Doesn't only two issues. We really had the Sunday thing kind of caught me off hard. That's just Customer Service 101. Apologize and make it right. And he charged us for it, even though we didn't eat it because we're not eating melted ice cream with a side of fudge. Everyone else had a wonderful meal. My husband and I had the ribeye and lobster tail and it was a beautiful medium rare. Macaroni and cheese was delicious. Broccolini was perfectly cooked, the wedge salad comes chopped and tossed (I love that) I would've given it five stars except for those three little items. And steak has to be cooked right. You can't send it back because that's just tacky so they were a little bummed out that they didn't get it the way they originally ordered it.

Qua is one of Kei Concepts' latest innovations, serving contemporary Chinese cuisine, and I was so excited to finally experience it! The spacious interior is modern and chic while still paying homage to its traditional roots. The service was on-point from start to finish. And our private dining room? Intimate, elegant, and absolutely gorgeous. I was obsessed with the theme and aesthetics! But what I was really excited about was the food--and boy, did it NOT disappoint! My friend hand-picked the menu so every guest could get a taste of everything Qua had to offer..and trust me, no one was leaving hungry! We started with General Tso's chicken wings, salt and pepper calamari, and crispy fried tofu. Then came the crispy shrimp red rice roll, which was unlike anything I'd had before--so unique and packed with flavor. Next up: XO fried rice with char siu, dan dan noodles, and steamed cod with black bean sauce. Every dish just kept getting better! And just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite, dessert arrived. Egg tarts, strawberry shaved snow, and mango sago pudding brought the night to the sweetest ending. Good food, beautiful ambiance, and celebrating people I love--what an unforgettable night! A total RxFoodie recommend!!!

We started off by getting Fantuans Saturday for breakfast. We got the vegetarian and the taiwanese…read moresausage combo with milk tea. We ordered to go and the fantuans were ready and they made the milk tea fresh. The fantuans are huge and look cool with the purple rice, however we both agreed that getting them in Taiwan with regular white rice is better as the purple rice clumps and falls apart. Part of the fun with fantuans is re-molding it as you go and you couldn't really do that very well with these. The flavors inside were pretty good and definitely reminded me of Taiwan, but everything was big pieces- from the pickled veggies to even the large strips of tofu. This made eating it difficult. Chopping things up would have made for a better experience. We then had afternoon tea on Sunday. They gave us 2 tea pots for 4 people and refilled them once. We are used to each person getting to choose their own tea. Unfortunately, this made for a disappointing tea experience, however the food was really really good. It should be called afternoon tea treats with some tea. The server was also very nice, and was able to accommodate (with the help of theor mamager) a last minute vegetarian swap out for one of us - we didn't remember having the option for this, or a place to put a note during the reservation, so something to look out for next time.
