For me it was 2 times so far.......You would think with a master mechanic labor rate of $260 per hour they would be able to fix it correctly the first time right ? I took my 2020 Ford Transit van in to have the transmission rebuilt at 56,104 miles which was covered under the manufactures 60K warranty the problem occurred 4694 miles later when the transmission cooler failed and started leaking oil profusely just after the 60K warranty period. According to WATSONVILLE FORD the additional $1800 repair would NOT be covered under the previous repair or the 3 yr 36K mile warranty that came with the rebuilt transmission or the manufacturer's extended warranty because it was mounted externally on the transmission and not internally. I'm sorry the description on your original service ticket includes the wording removing, inspecting and flushing the transmission cooler before reinstalling it. What am I missing here besides the reason you're trying to rip us off ? This was an obvious oversight on the MASTER MECHANICS part. In the end Michael C the service writer was sympathetic and tried to help but indicated his hands were tied. While Randall L the service manager was worthless and seemed to care less that I was beyond pissed at the way this was handled and turned out. COME ON WATSONVILLE FORD YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS. If you change your mind and would like to right this wrong your your service department knows how to get ahold of me.

After that, communication completely stopped. I had to call or text every week just to get updates. Multiples times to voicemail no answer. It took over 3 weeks for the parts to come in. About a week later, I received a text showing a $0 estimate and that my car was ready for pickup -- with no consistent communication throughout the entire process. The whole warranty repair took about a month. To make matters worse, my key fob was returned ripped. I asked the service advisor about purchasing a replacement cover and never received a response. Now I'm stuck having to replace a key fob after a month-long manufacturer warranty repair. Customer service here is poor. I understand this was a warranty job, but I guarantee you wouldn't receive this level of service if you were buying a vehicle. I would recommend going to another Dodge dealership.
