I will not deny there were a few cleanings that had to result in another visit, but they were always taken care of gratis and professionally. I have found that you can schedule reoccurring appointments at custom intervals by emailing them directly. You can also schedule the same cleaning person to come so you can expect consistent results. Wave House Cleaning likes to charge you for lots of extras, even after you explain exactly what you want cleaned. I paid for a deep cleaning and they said what it covers. When the cleaning crew arrived and I told them the same thing, they called the company and then they wanted to charge me for several extras. This company is all about how much they can soak from you. Both the cleaning people and the customer both get shafted. Not an honest and good company to do business with. read more

They automatically signed me up for their monthly program and still charged me initial cleaning prices for the maintenance visit. The cleaner almost killed me. They left the gas stove on and we returned 12 hours later to a house filled with gas requiring the Fire Department to come and fumigate our home. I've used this service for months and its very hit or miss. The cleaners are usually late, do a poor job and have oversights like I mentioned above. Another cleaner (as example) sprayed our dogs food bool with Lysol to clean it resulting in horrible stomach problems for our pet. The gas leak was the final straw. They have no respect for their client's time. They don't clean thoroughly. Walk on your carpet with dirty shoes (isn't the point to clean the place?) - leave floors without vacuuming or mopping. One time the cleaners just entered my premises themselves without even allowing me to open my door for them... I found them coming out of my bedroom in my living room?? Who does that? No, they did not knock and wait at all... Was late 3 hours the second time. I already moved up all my work appointments to accommodate the visit then couldn't reschedule again so I had to reschedule the cleaning as I had work to catch up on...then again right now I'm waiting for arrival between 11-12 PM (meaning they have an entire hour interval to show up) and it is 12.30 PM. So you can't leave your residence for that entire hour but then also you don't receive a courtesy text or email telling you they'll be late. They literally just don't care. Also it's they're not responding to my texts and I can't get ahold of them. Sometimes they have men come in when I specifically requested only female cleaners as I'm a young female living alone. This is horrible and extremely unprofessional. Their customer service is so bad when you ask to reschedule when they're two and a half hours late they ignore you and go "they have arrived" 30-40 minutes later. Like read, maybe? just read? No acknowledgment of your situation or that you asked to reschedule due to them being late already. UPDATE: they just arrived 12.45 PM when they said they'll be here between 11-12 and asked me if I have a vacuum? ...I only have my roomba...because "theirs is broken" - yet last time WEEKS ago they never even vacuumed my entire place? ... what excuse is that?? and left my place dirty? They're "done" in 20 minutes and my place is 960 sqft - there are eye contacts stuck on the bed frame sides that they haven't even wiped off. read more

I booked an apartment cleaning in downtown today at 2:00 PM. The charge went from $129 to $249 with added services. I drove from OC to be there for the cleaning crew. Took me an hour to get there. At 2:45 PM I get a text from them they have no crew available and I can reschedule for the next day. Looks like this is just an agency and has freelancers working for them. Awful service the only thing that looked was the bathrooms. I came home they didnt even wipe the kitchen counters which i feel is a basic cleaning job. Didnt vacuum any of the area rugs or maybe not in genetal i vacuumed when i got home an hr later and my little compartment on the vacuum was practically full. I have a dog but not enough to fill the vacuum an hr after a cleaner leaves. They actually even put stuff over dirty areas so they didn't have to clean it. These cleaners even neatly organized what was clearly trash on the counters while other cleaners through them away. We are regular Wave House Cleaning clients for a couple of years now because of their stellar work and professionalism. I feel safe and secure with their service because they vet their cleaning professionals very well and are also insured. We tried different agencies in the past just to get a different perspective and often ran into communication and scheduling issues. We even tried going directly with the people who we found from an agency and sure enough they were often really late, took longer than usual to clean with the same outcome as when they were under an agency and once, even scratched up our beautiful wood floors by trying to move a decorative, obviously heavy object around our floor (you didn't do it last time, why now? AND...why didn't you just stop when you heard the first deep scratching noise?). And of course they were not insured so we had to fix what they broke. And they didn't even have the decency to let us know. No wonder they were in such a hurry to leave towards the end! It really showed us that it's better to go with a credible agency because the cleaning professionals obviously value being a part of their company. And with Wave, they are always on time, very responsive and booking is easy online. Their prices are transparent on their website when you fill in your criteria.They have their stuff together. The regular cleaning pros we get from Wave leave our house with that pristine look, smell & feel. They even add little, subtle final touches that you would find in an upscale hotel. We always leave them snacks and bottled water with their tip because we really appreciate them. They are so good at what they do and they make me feel comfortable having them in our home. They are nice to our cats and our kitties are comfortable with them around. We work from home and we often run into them and you can see the sweat just streaming down their forehead. They might cost a little more than going to an independent cleaning professional but with our experience with the differences in quality & dependability and some of the horror stories I've heard from neighbors of minor theft (caught on camera digging in purses!) and suspected help in major theft, we're happy to pay a little more for Wave to do all the heavy lifting in finding quality and trustworthy cleaning pros. We're happy with them and will continue to be a client with a monthly schedule. Booking process was easy and fast. I was very excited for the crew to come and clean the house. 3B3B. I booked for Deep Cleaning services. Only 1 bedroom and attached bathroom was messy and needed stuff to be picked up from the floor and to be trashed. Other bedrooms were tidy, just needed regular cleaning. Two people came. A guy and a gal. Had a little tough time speaking to them as they don't speak English. They straight walked into the room which was more messy. Went inside the attached bathroom. Turned on the Main Bathroom light, shower light, attached Toilet light and also the attached Walk In Closet light. Left all the LIGHTS ON before walking out and refused service. Refused the service as that room and bathroom was little more messy than usual, but again, just had stuff on the floor and seemed more dirtier than it usually is. Walked out of the house. Tried to call the office, doesn't answer the phone. The office was aware of that they refused to clean as they called the office before leaving. There was no call from the office and left me to a surprise. When I called the office, they didn't answer the phone. Tried 3 times. After few minutes the same lady answered the phone, who made the booking. She acted surprised as why I am calling. I told her that their employees walked out. She was aware and said yes I am aware and there is nothing she can do, and wants me to call them again, after I organize the stuff. I told her everything just needed to be trashed, whatever is on the floor. She again said, there is nothing she can do. Mind it, that one of the service that they offer includes organization, though I did not needed it. As all was trash, but that was their excuse for not cleaning (or I should say to put stuff in the trash). I was more disappointed in the fact that when their employees walked out of the house after calling her, there was no courteous call back from the office to let me know that they will not be able to clean the house. The cleaning staff is generally good, but varies according to who is sent. However, the scheduling has been terrible. I signed up for a reoccurring cleaning, same time and day every other week. The last five cleanings were canceled, often the day of. Today I re-arranged my schedule to be home for the window of time the cleaners were supposed to arrive and I got a message that they were there and no one answered the door. I don't understand how that happened -- the front door was unlocked and I did not receive a notification that anyone was there. Once they canceled just before an appraiser came to look at the house for re-financing. I had to cancel my day to clean for that. I was hopeful that this would be my new cleaning service but this was actually not a good experience, from booking up until the actual cleaning day. One would think that communication is priority to this business since they have text and email options but e-mail responsiveness was hit or miss and text was unreliable. The cleaners arrived when they weren't supposed to. It was not the scheduled time. When they arrived, the presentation was not great. They brought supplies but I did not get the sense that it was a professional cleaning service. The broom, for example, looked very old and worn with bristles that were jutting out in different directions. What flashed in my mind is how many other places that broom has been, sweeping up dirt from how ever many people's homes that would now be in my home. While that is a reality as I don't expect that cleaners use new brooms per home, seeing a worn broom in that condition wasn't great. The actual presentation is part of first impressions and I was not feeling great about what I saw. The cleaners did a subpar job. They also spoke to each other not in English and laughed, talked on the phone and lied about having completed sweeping and mopping of areas that I know they didn't complete, which I did point out. As for the language, it isn't speaking a language other than English that I didn't like. It's the combination of speaking in a language I don't understand while laughing and talking on the phone and all while not working. They were standing in my bedroom doing that which is not what I paid for. I was home during the time they were there and when I walked over to them and saw all of this, there was no attempt to end the call, to stop chatting and get back to work. They looked right at me like nothing was wrong. Ridiculous. I was also unfortunately not confident in their method as they didn't change out the water when they were mopping so I opted to have their "cleaning" over with rather than have them mop where they hadn't. I also don't like that they decided to put their cleaning products and towels on my vanity counter where my hair and makeup products are. Again, my thought is those cleaning products and towels have also been in other people's homes and shouldn't be placed on a clean surface where I would do my hair or makeup. I also don't know how clean or dirty those towels are. I saw and felt many missed areas throughout my home that I ended up cleaning myself. I'm surprised this is the same company I read here that has such wonderful reviews. My experience was absolutely not good and I'm very regretful that I tried this company. I've used Wave a handful of times now and there has only been 1 occasion that I was happy with. Otherwise, very inconsistent. Even after specifying things that I think are common-knowledge, e.g. wiping down the microwave, cleaning the kitchen sink, wiping down cabinets, they do not get completed. Today's service was the worst - all the above were not done, stove backsplash wasn't touched, the floor did not get mopped, rugs were thrown aside and put back, and bedrooom were left dusty. I did call immediately after the crew left and spoke to someone who said they would try to get the crew back to finish but did not hear back from, even after I left a follow up message in the afternoon. read more

Do not hire this company... It is extremely hit or miss!! I spoke to the owner and explained that I'm putting my house on the market, so I need a deep cleaning with attention to detail and it has to be spotless. I explained exactly what needed to be done and she said no problem. She sent a crew of three and based on the amount of cleaning supplies they brought with them, or lack thereof, I realized they were unprepared, inexperienced, and unable to do the type of cleaning that needed to be done. Worst part is they left before I arrived at the house.Needless to say, the work was awful. They also scratched brand new paint on the base boards and damaged brand new carpet in certain areas of the house. I had to have the painter come back to touch up the damage they caused. I expressed how unsatisfactory the work was and wrote a negative review on yelp. The owner immediately contacted me and said this in her email: "A bad review during these national emergency circumstances can cause our business to close completely under the low clientele present. Our small family business offers employment to many single mothers to give them the opportunity to provide a better future for their families." I removed the review since she agreed to send another team the next day. While it was much better, it wasn't perfect, but I figured it was good enough. Then I get two charges on my credit card with no explanation as to what I'm getting charged for. My card was charged $49.00 two days later.
