I would give them no stars if I could. Right now I'm in a credit card dispute with them for a service they did not provide. Booked a house cleaning and there was hours of logistics to get their cleaner into the unit, when other providers have never had difficulty, and then the cleaners never cleaned AND left a rag on the floor as "evidence" when there was still construction dust in the sink and dust on the floor. I took many photos and another cleaning company, their replacement, confirmed it didn't seem like the unit was touched. So I spent a full work day playing phone tag for a service that never happened. When I brought this up they offered to send the SAME person back - for what? - and I declined and asked for a refund in service. They said in email they would do so and then a month later tried to dispute the chargeback with my credit card company. Unacceptable and shady behavior. read more

Just had my small (475 sq ft) apartment cleaned. They spent about 35 minutes in my place. I have a camera and saw that most of the time was spent at my kitchen table on their phones. None of the surfaces were dusted or cleaned and they didn't touch my shower.. AT ALL. This is unacceptable for $109. I've used wave i think 4 times now and I've been very satisfied with the cleaning each time. one time I felt the floor in my bedroom had been mopped a little hastily but it's not like it was a poor job or anything, I think the room was just pretty clean already so the cleaners probably didn't feel like they had to spend a lot of time on the floor. They cleaned up my DISGUSTING mildewy shower that I'd been neglecting for some time becuase Id been planning to tear it out and remodel it but the job kept getting pushed back...they made that thing sparkling clean I don't even know how it was possible. Which reminds me - their customer service is awesome. Very helpful, responsive and kind. The aforementioned remodel was a nightmare, with lots of delays, unforeseen issues, etc etc. I had to cancel and reschedule cleaning appointments several times and on short notice once, and they were super accommodating. I kicked her out because you can't empty in the USA kids. I don't care if they are helping the mother or not. The girl admitted that they do this all the time. UPDATE: they sent another cleaning team out to clean again and they did an okay job. We aren't dirty people but I still didn't feel like our apartment was really clean. We are still going back to using the company we were using before. My roommate and I booked a cleaning appointment with them and I guess we should have stuck with the company we were using before them because they didn't do a good job at all. I came home and right away noticed that our kitchen floor was still dirty and when I went into my bathroom I noticed that the counter was still dirty and there was a lot of water on it. They have good prices, but for the basic cleaning (mine was $99 based on the size of my house) the floor never got clean enough. The cleaners use a Swiffer type of mop that doesn't really clean the dirt off of the floor. After I complained, they wrote back that they will come back to redo the floors, but after numerous follow-ups, they never followed through. read more

I ordered this service for a recent "move out" cleaning of my apartment. I paid over $200 for it. The floors weren't mopped, the walls weren't cleaned, and the dining room fan was still covered in dust. My landlord came to inspect my unit literally 15 minutes after the cleaner left and she told me she would hire her own cleaners and take it out of my deposit. Which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. So now I am essentially paying twice for cleaning service. I have called Wave House AND emailed them for resolution and they have not gotten back to me. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but 3 strikes and they are out. We have been using them for the last several months, every two weeks. Up to about a month ago they were okay. Not great - I definitely noticed the cleanings weren't perfect - but their price was reasonable for the job they were doing. Several weeks ago things took a turn for the worst. One cleaner showed up and left in a little over an hour. I was surprised that she was gone so quickly but when I got home, I saw why. I genuinely don't believe she had done anything beyond make the bed. The house looked exactly how I had left it, with hair in the shower, tooth paste marks in the sinks, visible dust and sand (I live close to the beach) on the floor. I really do not think she did anything. I was obviously unhappy so I called the cleaning service. To do them justice, they offered to send another team to redo the cleaning for free. I agreed to that and they came a few days later. They did an absolutely phenomenal job and truly went above and beyond. I was really pleased, gave a huge tip, and thought the problem was solved. But then, at our next scheduled cleaning, no one showed up.... we called and they said they were running about an hour late. This was a Friday evening and we had plans so we asked to reschedule for Monday. We got confirmation of the pending visit and figured we were all set. No biggie that they were late once. It happens! No biggie, right? Nope. You guessed it. They didn't show up on Monday either. We tried calling and got voicemail. No one ever came. No one ever contacted us. So that's it. We are done. To add insult to injury, I can't cancel our scheduled visits on their online portal system. You can only schedule that way, apparently. read more

They've either not showed up (then sent a text saying "cleaning completed!"), or rescheduled at the last minute so frequently that it's a joke amongst my family. "Hey, hypothetically our cleaners come today!" The quality of the cleanings varies VASTLY. It's often fine, never great, but hey you get what you pay for and this service is cheap. Today, when I walked inside you'd really never know a cleaner had been here, unless you assume that a cleaner's job is to leave several trash bags around the house, not dust anything, not make the bed, and leave the couch blanket crumpled. There have been multiple times I've emailed them pictures of the shambles left behind. Again, I know times are tough, but I want to help out and hire companies that actually have decent service. This is a review for their website and customer service, since Wave made it nearly impossible for me to actually use their cleaning services. I used Wave's website to book a cleaning on a Sunday - there were multiple Sunday options (different times of day) so I selected one. It said that the date/time would have to be confirmed. 48 hours later, no confirmation, no communication whatsoever from Wave. So I called them (it is not easy to find their number) and the person I spoke to, Carla, said they don't offer cleanings on Sundays. I expressed my frustration - why would you have multiple Sunday booking options if you don't offer services on Sundays? And since the order was "pending confirmation," why not notify me, since you were supposed to confirm the cleaning anyway? I expressed my frustration, and Carla said she would see if anyone was available on Sunday and call me back within an hour. Three days later, and neither Carla nor any other Wave representative has contacted me. At this point I've given up on Wave, but am really disappointed and, frankly, surprised that they can afford to be so cavalier with their customers. read more

Less than 2 weeks ago, I had someone from Wave Clean come for the 3rd time, after having given very specific instructions with their scheduler by phone and leaving all products out where they needed to be used. My housekeeper began in the bathroom. I glanced in from the kitchen and saw her using the toilet bowl brush in my fiberglass bathtub. I was gobsmacked!! The Softscrub and a sponge were right there on the side of the tub. If she does that, it makes me question how sanitary any of their cleaning really is. I literally went around after her to properly clean and she demonstrated no interest. I know my sinks weren't cleaned with the Comet I left out because the drains were dull until i cleaned both sinks myself while she was there. I left out Pledge and soft rags on a wood piece in the livingroom and told the housekeeper's bilingual daughter (who she brought with her) that it needed to be used on all of my wood furniture. The Pledge never left that spot. I thought the issue was I wasn't paying for the proper cleaning I needed or that I wasn't making myself clear. It always "looks" clean when they leave. But on closer inspection after they're gone, it's just not. In 3 cleanings, and quite a bit out-of-pocket, it seems their people want to get in and out fast (a stunning 1.25 hours for a "deep cleaning" the last time). It appears to me that they use 1 rag for everything, despite my leaving cleaning products, rags, sponges etc. out literally where they should be used. They offered to send someone else the next time or to clean for free. But honestly, 3 strikes, you're out. Would you trust them after that?? Sadly, I can't recommend Wave Clean in good conscience. read more
