Continuously late, issues with charges/invoices, and unprofessional. Wave House's continuous tardiness--5 consecutive months of being 3-6 hours late, and having to ask 3 or more times to get refunded for unauthorized charges and to get credited for an agreed upon credit, warrants this bad review. When we first began working with them, I asked them to please always automatically submit the monthly cleaning invoices to me. I did not mind that every month I had to ask for the invoices. They always submitted the invoices within a day after requesting them. But, towards the last 6 months of working with them, I had to ask more than 3-4 times on different days within a week after the cleaning for the invoices, and it always coincided with unauthorized charges or failure to provide an agreed upon refund. The first unauthorized charge was when they increased their prices without notifying us of such. I asked for an invoice and did not receive it until a few days after the cleaning and noticed the increase. I contacted the owner to ask why I had not been advised of the increase before the charge. Although the manager, Daniela indicated that she had sent me an email about the increase, she never provided me with a screenshot of the email demonstrating that Wave House had notified us of the price increase. When their cleaners broke items in our home, including two sheers of on window blinds, we were able to fix them ourselves, so we did not ask to be reimbursed. We did ask to be notified of such as the first time it happened; their cleaner failed to advise us. When they broke a glass standing lampshade into many pieces, we asked for a reasonable refund of $34 for the replacement. Although Daniela agreed, again, we were not provided with the invoice several days after the cleaning and when we were, we were not reimbursed. We had forwarded the replacement receipt that week, but still were not provided with a refund. Consequently, we had to call Daniela and ask for the $34 credit, until actually getting credited. On the last occasion, we were charged for parking, when there are three free large parking areas in front of our home, one of which the cleaners parked at as usual. Our request for the invoice was once again ignored. Several days after the cleaning, we finally received the invoice and noticed the unauthorized charges. While my husband and I always made a habit of tipping 18-20% for cleaning, after the fifth time of coming 3-6 hours late, for the first time we tipped them 14% and explained to them that we had asked them on numerous occasions to please give us one hour notice if our cleaning time was going to be changed. This was not done. I believe the mysterious parking fee was to compensate them for tipping. I told Daniela that I would be making a complaint with my credit card company and was finally reimbursed for the parking fee two days later. When I first began working with them, the cleaner always came with 30 mins of the scheduled appointment. Then they began coming 60-70mins within the scheduled appointment. We did not say anything. But, when they began coming 3-6 hours late, I requested that someone from Wave House please notify us beforehand. This was never done. Worse yet, on the last appointment, we had made an appointment for 8am. The night before Daniela notified us that they would actually becoming at 1pm instead or they could come the following day. I said this was fine and thanked them for notifying us. The next day at 10:57am I received a text that the cleaners were actually arriving at 11am. Four minutes later they arrived. We could not have them come the following day, and changed our plans to accommodate them. We never received an apology instead this is when we were charged for a cost that was never authorized by us. Some of us work from home and most of us have very busy lives and cannot afford to change our plans for cleaners that cannot be relied on to be on time. I am at awe at their lack of professionalism and consistent tardiness. read more

Use Wavehouse Cleaning if you need help cleaning your house with a flexible shortterm schedule but do not expect the cleaning teams to clean your home without your involvement especially when booking a vacation rental Airbnb cleaning. After I booked this very expensive cleaning service with the hope I can trust the cleaner would get the job done I was surprises with a list of basic cleaning that was not done! My renters that moved in the next day had to finish the job and I had to manage this from my Europe trip and was the last thing I wanted to do at this time. This included trash in kitchen not taken out, beds not made and clean sheets not removed from dryer. Coffee maker, toaster and mixer dirty and not cleaned including dirty dishes in dishwasher and sink. The fridge was wiped out but had food pieces in bins, and sofa was left with crumbs and pillows feathers on top. I feel like the cleaner wanted to do this job as fast as possible and did not try very hard to make this a smooth cleaning experience. I hope Wave House Cleaning can improve on this vacation rental cleaning service and provide a checklist for cleaners before leaving the house. read more

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this company. For almost $300 to clean a very small 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, I expected more, being I paid for a deep cleaning, along with refrigerator and stove. I found it funny, the 2 individuals that did the actually cleaning, didn't clean windows, nor load the dishwasher? In addition, when I found things that were missed during my inspection (i.e finger prints on various mirrors and cabinets, dust on fixers, the lack of cleaning of the wine/spirits bar, with some cleaning issues in the bathroom), and asked for those areas to be looked over, I was immediately asked, "if I was aware of the 3 hour time frame?" . I found that very unprofessional and a little rude, being I'm the paying customer and ordered a deep cleaning! From what I observed, they took their time to clean, with no sense-of-urgency, or attention to detail to their cleaning. Once time became a factor, they hurried to finish. If that was a deep cleaning, then I don't want to know what a regular cleaning would be! What a waste of money, shame on me will they now shame on you read more

I've been using Wave for about 9 months now. I live alone (with a big dog) in a moderately sized 2 bedroom apartment and I'm a very neat person, so I only have them come once a month to frankly do the things I don't want to do, like clean the showers and my stove. They do a great job and the women who have come into my home couldn't have been nicer or more friendly to my dog (which is very important to me). Speaking of showers, it's often the little things that define quality of service. This week the woman who cleaned my place got my glass shower door cleaner than I've ever been able to get it. It's long suffered from years and years of hard water and soap deposits. Not even CLR could get it all clean. But after this week's cleaning it is completely clear. I don't know what she used, but it was amazing. It's also often how a company handles service issues that defines quality of service. The one time I contacted the office about something the cleaner missed (a floor left wet after being cleaned), they got back to me almost immediately and offered to send someone to fix the situation right away. read more

I scheduled an 11am appointment as a new client. I was sent 2 emails in the days leading up to the appointment asking me to confirm, which I did. The emails noted that there was an hour "window" so my cleaners should arrive by noon. At 11:15 I left Wave a message just confirming that they were still arriving. At 11:56am they called me to tell me the cleaner had called out sick that day and they would need to reschedule. I find it hard to believe that an hour into my appointment is when they learned the cleaner was sick. I also think that it was very unprofessional to not have a back up plan for a new client. I would have at least expected them to offer me a free cleaning to make up for the time I wasted waiting for them. The person on the phone did say she would send me an email for 15% off, I never received it. Which is fine, because I will happily find a company that is more reliable, professional and customer-oriented. read more

I have been using Wave for my home cleaning for 4 months . Initially the service exceeded my expectations. The individual arrived on time and cleaned my entire home throughly. The past 2 services have been cancelled and rescheduled several times with the individual arriving 1.5 hours late. Despite this I tried to be considerate and allow them to complete my services. My charges were increased due to their repeated cancellations which was still fine because I just wanted to come home to a clean house. Instead I returned to trash in the bathroom and kitchen not being emptied. The inside of the microwave was not cleaned nor was my staircase dusted or cleaned as promised. Disclaimer- I have not used this company. However I did speak with them and considered giving them a try. That was within the last several weeks. i have not selected a company or individuals as yet to clean my home, as for the most part previous cleaning people I used were unreliable or there was dishonesty. At any rate the reason I am posting is that I suddenly received a pop up from this company today advising me I did not finish inputting my payment information. Updated review -- Last year, had a TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE with Wave Cleaning. This August, a terrible one. But am RE-REVIEWING with a very POSITIVE review. After the bad experience, I spoke to Wave. They were great and didn't charge me. In turn, I tried then again. Have since had TWO GREAT CLEANING EXPERIENCES with two separate teams. Have been recommending to friends and will continue to use as my regular house cleaning service. Wave office folk are easy to deal with and professional. The two teams I've recently had were both professional, trustworthy, and no-muss-no-fuss -- while doing a great cleaning job. Will be using Wave every two weeks. read more

Updating my review after a few months of service. They send different cleaners every week, but thankfully the cleaners are all hard working people and do a good job. Even if you request a weekly cleaning within a window of time, the service will attempt to reschedule on almost a weekly basis. Why bother allowing people to set a weekly schedule if you can't properly staff the requests? When I asked them to stick to the schedule I chose they changed my name to "Don't ask to reschedule" and this appeared on every email or text they sent ms-talk about unprofessional. The smell in the house and the smile on my wife's face, when Alejandro and Arianna are finished, is well-worth the supremely reasonable price we pay for this service. I've never met two more sweet and professional house cleaning service providers in my life. Normally I'd have grumbled and groaned when my wife would make cleaning appointments. But I actually look forward to these two coming because the entire experience is so pleasant and fulfilling. I wish I could give more stars, I have been using Wave House cleaning for quiet some time, from their friendly owners to the professional crew, they are by far the best cleaning service in Los Angeles, having a large 3 story home, there is always many corners and spots that get overlooked, but these guys take their time and do what is needed to leave the place spotless. We are very impressed with this cleaning company. We selected them through the reviews on Yelp and they were right! Annie, Melissa and owners have been very receptive to our needs and when we had some reservations about the cleaning job done on one of the days in the past 6 months, they were wonderful to work with, offered a do over cleaning and worked with us to make sure we were completely satisfied.
