My appointment was with Robin and she was amazing!!! She's so kind and friendly. If you have any questions she's more than happy to explain her process, what she's doing and why. Our hair session was around 6 hours long but it didn't even feel like 6 hours for me, time flew by so fast. She's also so accommodating, like having drinks like coffee, tea and water available. The hair color itself was sooooo gorgeous! I've gotten so many compliments so far. I feel so pretty with it my new color it literally looks like it's glowing especially in the light! Silvia is (as Tina Turner says...) simply the BEST!!! I have thick, coarse, curly (ok graying, too) hair and I am super picky about it. She knows how to color, cut, and style it like no other. True. I have had to sometimes visit another salon for a blowout for a function of Silvia isn't available but I'm never as impressed with my hair as when Silvia styles it. I receive the MOST compliments on my hair after my appointments with her and that's coming from high school teenagers. That's incredible. Silvia knows color and hair cut techniques. Her hours are flexible for Bay Area residents. Parking is not at all a problem for this salon. This salon is quiet, peaceful, and serene. Not noisy and crazy like others. I was thrilled!! My hair had never look so good. I finally found someone that could work with MY hair, rather than give me a "one size fits all" haircut. Not even worth one star! Moved back from east coast and have been a Davines user for several years. Well that is how I found Wavelength -due to them being Davines salon. Well first visit Julie did not use Davines color and whatever was used burned my scalp in one area. Went back as was told she would order my formula from Davines. My stylist on east coast had written the formula for my hair color. Second time I go back. AGAIN Davines was not used. After having color off and shampoo get back to my chair and there is a huge clump of hair on my smock. This was in 4 months ago. My long hair has broken off everywhere and is so brittle. Have lost so much of my hair. No longer is it healthy. DONT walk RUN from this place. read more

Wavelength Salon is like a breath of fresh air. I came to the salon for the first time in September after my stylist Silvia moved here from her last salon. It was such a welcome change; with all eco-friendly products, wall-to-wall windows, and a chic, airy interior. This was not only my first time visiting Silvia in the new salon, but also my first haircut since COVID began. I am currently pregnant so I have been very hesitant about getting a haircut indoors. But Silvia and the Wavelength team have come up with a system that made me feel extremely safe. There was a temperature check upon arrival, sanitizer readily available, and since I went in on Monday, Silvia and I were the only two people inside the salon. Silvia and I both wore masks the entire time and I felt very comfortable - even HAPPY (a feeling that is so rare during this scary time) - getting to do something I used to take for granted. I have been a client of Silvia's for over a decade and I've always said I would follow her to any salon she worked at - she is that wonderful. Not only is she an amazing stylist, she really is a wonderful person. I can not say enough about her talent, but also her heart. This move to Wavelength feels like a win for both Silvia and her clients. The salon is located steps away from downtown, but you won't have to worry about finding a parking spot; Wavelength has it's own parking lot with tons of spaces. No more worrying about that two-hour time limit for street parking when you're getting a cut and color! Also, it is a sustainable salon which means they use all eco-friendly products. It's been 7 longs months since I've had my hair cut and colored and I finally had the opportunity to go back to the salon yesterday. Wavelength is new for me and from the time I stepped in to this ultra clean, Green salon I felt a great vibe and was perfectly comfortable with my safety and those around me. Silvia was my hair magician. She took my drab hair and transformed it with great color and a fresh new cut. I spent several hours all together in the salon and also had the opportunity to see two other people have their hair transformed by Teryle. I could not have been more impressed with Silvia and Teryle and the beautiful, light-filled salon. An added bonus is the ample parking that is available.
