Bar none one of the worst experiences I've ever had, I feel like I was just accosted by Yvonne. I got a text from Wayne Aker's stating there was a recall on my 2014 Ford F-150 , The transmission would lock up the rear wheels in 2nd gear possibly causing a very dangerous situation. I call up Wayner Akers and scheduled an appointment for this morning at 11am. I was unfortunate enough to work with Yvonne. Who advised under no uncertain terms that if there is an issue with the transmission the upgrade may cause the transmission sieze up. I was perplexed because Ive had an upgrade to the transmission before and I was never advised of that. After going round and a round and getting nowhere, I left. When I got home I called Grieco ford. I told them what Wayne Akers said and they were taken back by that. Greico advised that if anything happened to my vehicle due to them working on it, they would be responsible for it. So I scheduled for Greico come out to do the upgrade. This is just another case of a corporate greed, Yvonne must of figured I would of asked him to run a diagnostic on the tranny only to find something wrong so they could charge me ungodly amounts of money to repair it. Violation of state statute (Florida Statute 817.44): This dealer is advertising a Ford Bronco with a discount of $6436 on their webpage. Gregg Becker emailed a worksheet with a discount of only $4626 with an additional $1397 Akers Protection package, and a higher Electronic Filing Fee than disclosed on the website. I asked for them to remove the $1397 as there is no verbiage on the website its mandatory, no acknowledgment. They were supposed to send lease numbers, didn't do that either. 1 Star - Extremely Disappointed with attitude of saleswoman I recently contacted Wayne Akers Ford about purchasing a 2024 BMW 4 Series 430i Convertible RWD listed at around $44,984. I had cash in hand and made a very reasonable offer--asking if they could wrap all taxes, fees, and registration into a clean $45,000 out-the-door price. To my surprise, I received an incredibly rude and dismissive response from Nicolette Derrevere, who not only refused to negotiate but also responded with a sarcastic tone, asking, "Why would I want to pay your sales tax..." instead of professionally countering or explaining her position. It was uncalled for and completely unprofessional, especially considering I was ready to buy on the spot. Her attitude alone was enough to change my mind about doing business with this dealership. Took my truck to Wayne Akers after Ford recommended i go here since the previous dealer didnt fix my problem i took it there 3 times. So i bring my truck to Wayne Akers where they had it a total of 2 1/2 months. I dropped off my truck for no GPS and the first 3-4 shift of the day had a bang. After 2 1/2 month of being treated the worst ive ever been treated in my 51 years of life. My GPS still doesnt work it didnt work in the parking lot when i picked it up. When i went and sent Kristian a picture he blocked my number. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Ford corporate. My GPS still doesnt work my transmission bangs in all gears now. When i brake the transmission slams and feels like im getting rear ended. Ford corporate said they emailed the service manager to contact me. No one has done anything but make my truck worse. Its missing pieces in the interior its worse than when i took it in and the inside was filthy when i took it in it was spotless. I cant recommend this dealership. No one answers the phone. No one keeps you updated. And clearly the manger doesnt care because he got my letter from the BBB and from Ford and still never reached out. read more

Purchase my 2023 Ford 150, I have only made two payments on this truck. I have brought it back 3 times since for issues. 1. I brought my own plate in for them to transfer it once I bought, I was told to wait because they have to do their own transfer and they gave me a temp plate for 2 weeks. I kept checking the DMV site to see if the transfer was done. I had to go into the dealership for them to the transfer one the day the tag was expired. No calls, no nothing... 2. Following week went back because the truck was driving raggedy, the first day we purchased it, they stated we going to put new tires, we going to rotate, we going to aligned it. Mind you when we purchased it we didn't get back the truck until a week after, there explanation was transferring from rental to sales. So brought it back in, only for them to say the same thing again that they told us the day we signed. We gonna put tires, we gonna align, we gonna rotate. 3. 2 weeks ago brought it in because once we attached our trailer, there's no light on the trailer. they want to keep it for 2 days; this is my working truck. Now a different diagnosis is done they have an electrical problem, brought the truck in on Friday, no one called to say anything. I text GIO this morning about the truck. his response is ALL CAPS was he and the manager cant do anything until truck is diagnosed. How can we be selling defected vehicles to customers, Ford makes the vehicles look pretty so the customer can drive out of the dealership only to know that nothing works on it. Working people don't have time to waste. This dealership is so unprofessional, no ethics behind it. Very unethical. 12-27-2024 Go somewhere else... * Firstly, ignored. Pulled into the service bay, 3 people sitting in their little cubbies looking at us and do nothing. 2 guys on nearby picnic tables doing nothing, who continued to... do nothing. It wasn't until a service tech coming on from helping someone else looked over at us and asked if we'd been helped that we started our painful journey here. * The guy they sent out to see us was apparently unable to help as he listened to us explain we just need a tire patched or plugged, and then he walked us inside to find someone else to explain what we just explained to him all over again. * The amount of time that you're quoted for service is dependent upon many factors, once of them being whether you are waiting or not but even that time is completely arbitrary... When he quoted us 1:45 for a simple tire patch we said we'd go eat and come right back so our service advisor Khristian said he would write "waiting" on the ticket. Sounds easy enough, right? Yeah, no... This quoted time apparently didn't matter, as when we came back 2 hours later our car was still sitting untouched in the parking lot, and we were advised that once we left we were no longer "waiting" so it got moved to the drop off ticket pile. * When we reminded him of what he himself had told us, an indignant "but you left" was his only response. What ensued next was a Monty Pythonesque discussion. You said you were marking "wait", yes but you left, yes, we said we were coming right back so you wrote wait, right but then you left, but you wrote wait, but you left. Repeat a couple times for comedic effect. At this point they said "Oh you're next.", and 10 minutes later our car was brought in back, then came out 21 minutes after that. Due to an ongoing windshield wiper issue with a brand new 2025 F-350 Platinum Plus (purchased in GA) I brought my truck to Wayne Akers to have it worked on. The shop foreman, Riz, was a wonderful man to deal with, as was my service advisor, Sway aka Consuela. Riz was able to set the wiper arm to its proper position so it would no longer hit the truck's paint and would also stop it from scratching my windshield further. This was the first time coming to Wayne Aker's and I appreciated their willingness to fix the issue so I brought it back to have the same issue addressed again since the windshield wiper arm was still dragging across the windshield leaving scratches. I left the truck at the dealership and they ordered me a ride home. Later that day they called and said the work was done so I proceeded back to the dealership and picked up my truck. After a brief testing it appeared things were okay. On a drive back from Texas I encountered heavy rains and turned the windshield wipers on only to discover the issue was not fixed and, after 4-5 hours of rain, the scratches were very clear and perfectly placed at my eye level. Deciding to try another dealership that I commonly use and trust fully (Sawgrass Ford) I dropped off the truck while I was out of town for a week. The day before I was scheduled to pick up my truck I was informed that "someone" installed aftermarket windshield wiper blades onto the truck, not OEM, which affected my warranty so Sawgrass could not proceed with the repairs. Pretty upset I reached out to Wayne Akers and there was no resolution for how this occurred. The only suggestion given was that maybe someone switched out my Ford OEM wipers with non-functioning, aftermarket wipers. Needless to say, if someone indeed stole my wipers and REPLACED them with their old and worn ones they are very kind thieves. In the end I had to pay for two new wipers which brought my truck "back into warranty" and allowed me to have the arm replaced so it would not continue to destroy my windshield. read more

So I suppose this place has earned it's two stars. In my case, it would be one or less. When I came over, yes, they ignored me. Who cares. I was happy to look at the cars by myself and have no one really talk to me. Someone said hello for a second, but you could see they're totally disinterested. Is that normal? No. It's really bizarre. But it is part of the new world that we live in. In the old days, car Salesmen were your fake best friends. Particularly used car salesmen. But any car salesman wanted money. They wanted sales. Now with the Internet and I suppose I don't even know a lack of interest to succeed in life, these guys are basically asleep at the wheel. No pun. Anyway, I was interested in a Mustang. And because their team was sort of disinterested in getting me one, I ended up purchasing another car, but their manager just called to see if I had been followed up with properly. I was not going to leave a review until I discovered something major. In dealing with my car issues- I had an amusing yet revealing experience with the service advisor [BEN]. Long story short- I gave a brief rundown on my car situation and Ben the service advisor immediately jumped the gun and tried to push a major (costly) service on me. The cope was real and the attempt at arguing with me, brushed off. I did not budge nor care. The glaring red flag- he lied about my warranty. I was told my powertrain warranty was capped at 50k miles. By chance earlier today I called ford corporate directly and the rep confirmed with me that my warranty, in fact is capped at 60k miles. Now- why would a sales rep I mean service advisor not be truthful about a client's coverages? Hmm.. ($$) Fact: a service advisor (not a mechanic) cannot give the proper diagnostic without even having even seen the car. Also fact: service advisors are known to be salesman and push unnecessary costly upsells due to commission. Service manager has ZERO accountability for not fixing a car he was paid money to fix. Blamed several items on not asking for the correct item to be fixed. For instance, told the technician that the car shimmy's over 70 AND pulls to the right. Technician wrote down pulls to the left. Not sure why, but that's all he wrote. They did an alignment, but car continued to shimmy and pull after the service and he said, you didn't ask for a wheel balance. Went and all tires were 37psi. When we got the car back, one was 43psi, one was 33psi and one was 37psi and the fourth 38psi, inexplicably. Also had a tire pressure sensor fault sign come on. Told them that. Within two hours of the service, not only the fault sign was back on, but two sensors were not registering any pressure any longer on the car. But it's our fault we didn't ask for the warranted sensors to be replaced. I will NEVER EVER EVER go back there and if there is anything I can say or do to make you not go back there, please comment and I will give you my honest opinion. I should preface this that we went to them because I was about to take a 17 hr trip and I wanted to make sure the car was safe. They said it was, when in fact, I wasn't even to Daytona Beach and the sensors were out, making the rest of the trip very nerve wracking. And we went back to them and they said "too bad, your fault!!!" Don't ever go there! You've been warned. Should have seen it got a 2.2 yelp review in the first place. Don't give them your money. This has got to be one of the most annoying things I've had to deal with. Brought my car in for minor damages to the front bumper and was told that it'd be a 7 day repair. This was on June 2. Fast forward a month and a half later I'm still bringing in my car for problems that are still not able to be resolved. I don't understand how my lights stopped working properly and when i brought in my car for the 3rd time to get it checked out they claimed my passenger side lights Are bad.. that's not the side I gotta problem with! I called last week and spoke to Jakari Vaughns and inquired about a Mazda CX5 carbon. He said they didn't have any in stock and would take my name. 10 minutes later I received a call from Greico Delray and that they just received a call from Mr. Vaughns that I was interested in a CX and they had the perfect one;2022 8057 miles AWD CPO that was on the lot for 38 days and they had to move it. Yeah right! So I drove down as a fluke and sure enough $24,966 SUPER clean. I purchased it and my wife is ecstatic!! We hunted for over 7 months for a CLEAN CX5 NOTHING!! My Van is White and you can see the Burgundy colored used doors they painted over when you look at the inner jams. They are definitely crooks. I had a terrible experience with them 6 months ago, and they gave me a free oil change. I wasn't going to ever use them again but I had a screw in my tire and they're right near my house so I brought my car in for a tire patch and oil change. When I went to pick it up there was a 5 or 6 inch white line on the driver door rocker panel that wasn't there before. I called the agent over and he wiped it off (it appeared to be compound) revealing a large gash in the rocker. The agent (John) refused to give his last name and the manager Lenny was too busy to come over. After I called the sheriff and they arrived, Lenny found time and he denied they had anything to do with it and wouldn't fix it. And get this, THEY TOLD THE DEPUTIES THAT WAYNE AKERS HAS NO SECURITY or VIDEO CAMERAS!!!! The ones that you see they assert are all broken. Obviously a video would have shown no large white line with me driving in, and then a white line magically appearing upon return, possibly a camera in the bay would show how the damage occurred. Does a multimillion dollar car dealer really have no cameras anywhere? Give me a break. They damaged my car and refused to repair it even though they have their own body shop. I wouldn't have noticed the damage if someone hadn't tried to buff it out with compound and forgot to wipe all of it off, or whatever the white line was hadn't been so noticeable. I've always brought my trucks here for service and warranty work over the past several years. Unfortunately the service has been going down hill over the years. This visit will be my last. I brought in my 2019 Mustang with 17k miles. Fully under the Ford bumper to bumper warranty AND also CPO by Ford. I drop off my car on Friday to my advisor Catalina Lopez who was running out the door (even though I had an appointment for that time) so I had to just leave her my name and number. Anyways no big deal, she calls me later on Friday to go over what's wrong with the car and I tell her the issues over the phone. Not as easy as being able to just show the issues on the actually car, but whatever. On Saturday she calls me telling me I have to pay some kind of diagnostic fee. I let her know the car is still under the bumper to bumper Ford warranty and it's CPO on top of that. She doesn't know/doesn't care says I have to pay the fee and IF the warranty covers the issues then I get a refund. I have owned many different brands of cars and several Fords and been to many dealers. NEVER have I been asked to pay any fees of any kind when brining in a vehicle still under the manufacturers warranty. In addition when a car is not covered by the warranty anymore the dealer will let you know about the diagnostic fee right away when you drop off the vehicle and not 2 days later. I'm not sure if it's some new scam they are running. I don't know if Catalina doesn't under stand how a warranty works. I'm not sure. Only thing I do know is that I will be taking my fords to a different dealership for service and repairs from now on. Although this review is about their service department, I did purchase one truck from them a few years ago and it was the typical dealer bs where the price keeps changing and you have to spend all day there having the salesman go back and forth with the manager. For that reason I have not purchased any other vehicles from them. VERIFIED CUSTOMER Absolutely terrible! I will never take my truck to Wayne acres ford again!! I brought my truck in for transmission issues and my service guy promised I would have it back in two weeks. Of course that wasn't the case, they originally told me that they would be rebuilding 60% of the transmission not 100% in the end they rebuilt 100% of my transmission instead of just giving me a new one. Then after having it 26 days they call me and now I need a new battery. I bring them a brand new $300 battery for my truck and they promise me my truck will be done in the next couple days. Of course that wasn't the case either. Finally when I get my truck I drive it off the lot and get on the highway and my truck shuts off leaving me with no power steering or brakes and I almost get wrecked by a semi truck. I called a tow truck shortly after and find out that the new battery that I purchased and ford installed didn't tighten my battery terminals and that was the reason for my truck shutting down on the highway. After that my mechanic looked into my starter and found that the mechanic at Wayne acres ford also didn't correctly connect my ground wire to my starter while installing the transmission. I needed a service and a recall done on my 2023 Maverick and called the Delray Ford dealer, who was not accommodating at all, they told me it would be 3 to 5 days in service as they are backed up and very matter of fact on the phone. My next call was to Wayne Akers got a nice person who set the appointment for the next day! They said it would be done that day.. My service advisor was Kristian(hope I spelled it correctly) who was very friendly and informative when I walked in, by the time I got back from breakfast the truck was ready, the nice ladies at the cashier desk were able to use my Fordpass for payment as well, so within hour and half I was on my way not 5 days later.... they just got a new customer I will drive a little for good service any day, sorry Delray you need a phone etiquette class. read more

Needed service on my car....called Delray Ford told me they would give me an appointment but the car would sit there for three to five days before they would get to it because they took over the work from Pompano Ford that had closed. That didn't help me much. Called Al Packer in West Palm was told appointment manager would call me back but they never did guess it's because I didn't have a Lincoln, Called Wayne Akers on Monday...was told sure bring the car in tomorrow morning at 9:30. So I did. Was there about five minutes when service writer Kristian called me in. Told him problems that car had said he'd get back to me in a few hours. And he did. Gave me a quote for the work and I told him to go ahead. Car was all fixed the next morning. Only con is that for EACH problem you tell them they charge $210 diagnostic fee.
