Parts of the engine not put back together, thrown in the back seat.

I brought my truck to Wayne County Ford to figure out why it couldn't start. They called me and told me that the truck wasn't covered under warranty so I said I will just come back and pick it up . They charged me $800 plus and when I sent a tow truck to pick up my truck this is how they returned the truck to me. They never put my truck back together and they left the Greasy parts in the backseat. How could any dealership allow a brand new vehicle to leave their ship like this and charge the customer?

Don provided excellent service. He was patient and helped me to get the EcoSport setup with Apple Play & Ford Pass. I am very happy with my new vehicle and love the family atmosphere that Wayne County Ford offers. If you're in the market for a new vehicle and want honest, caring and friendly staff, then go to Wayne County Ford. They will help you find the best deal that fits your lifestyle. 100% support this dealership

I don't understand the negative reviews so I wanted to help set the record straight. I cannot speak…read morefor sales as I have not purchased a vehicle from them, but the service and detailing departments are positively ROCKING it! Last year we bought a new car just before the pandemic shut everything down. We called around asking about getting PA registration and inspection as we had purchased it in New York. The service department at Hornbeck told us there was a waiting list due to the situation and they could put us on it. They called back much more quickly than I expected and took us in. We were treated like royalty and then I asked them to detail our car. Angel took care of it and she was spotless and perfect. A few weeks ago I received a text from the service department suggesting a "once over" of our car for the season. Since we have a sports car, we don't drive it in the winter so after pulling her out of the garage this spring, we took her back to Hornbeck (not the closest Chevy dealer to us, but definitely the best). Again, the service department was amazing, all smiles, and super happy to help in any way possible. I scheduled an in-depth detailing of the car and I cannot rave enough about how Angel and his team took care of the car! They just opened a new detailing area and I can't recommend them enough for ANY vehicle. The attention to detail and absolute babying our car received is unparalleled! It was as if they loved our car as much as us! Angel and his crew took the time to go over everything they did and even got a very large scratch out without my having brought it to their attention. They found things we never noticed and corrected them and we couldn't be happier! But don't take our word for it; take a look at the picture of the blue Corvette!

Caveat Emptor!!! Started off badly and this should have been a sign......made an appointment to see…read morea specific car. Arrived for the appointment and discovered the car I wanted to see was sold. I travelled one hour to get to the dealership but received no call to inform me the car had been sold. The GM, sitting in adjacent office, overheard the conversation going sideways and quickly suggested another car - same make and model. Turns out the car WAS nice and we bought it. It did have a check engine light on but the salesperson said the part that was needed 'was ordered'. Said it was an O2 sensor (keep that in mind). Oh, and dealership was going to tack on approximately $800 in dealer fees! Obviously, that was negotiated to a saner amount but in retrospect, I should have negotiated even more. Drove home thinking that the fix and 'detailing' the car would have been just a couple days. That was a Tuesday. I called the following Saturday. (Note that there was absolutely no call(s) from the dealership as to the status of this car undergoing repairs.) I was told the car would be ready Monday. Monday arrived and we could not make the trip that day. Tuesday (now one week later) I called the salesperson - twice - no answer and NO voicemail. I tried connecting with any other salesperson. No answer and NO voicemail. Finally, I contacted their 'award winning' Service Department. The person who answered the phone, after giving my name and the car I bought, could not find the car in the system. He sounded confused as to whether the car was even there! I thought they had sold it. Finally, he told me they were waiting on one part. I asked what part? he said a 'turn signal stalk' and once that's fixed, the car would be cleaned and inspected. I asked what was the reason for the check engine light. He said it was a purge valve. Apparently, it wasn't an O2 sensor as I was told. Note that had I made the trip Monday, that car would not have been ready! I became a bit irate over the lack of communication from the dealership and demanded better communication going forward. Ten minutes after I hung up, I receive a text from the salesperson informed me the car will be ready for pickup - THAT AFTERNOON! Now I'm no car mechanic, but I'm not sure you can replace a turn signal stalk in a matter of a half hour and have the car cleaned and ready for delivery. We pick up the car on Wednesday, eight days after the sale. We had asked for two issues to be addressed. One, eliminate the STRONG odor of cigarette smoke in the car. Salesperson said they have a chemical to do that. It wasn't done. Two, clean a minor stain on the inside of the 'A' pillar. It wasn't done. The car appeared to have been vacuumed and washed but the wheels were caked in brake dust and accumulated grime. I was so incensed about my experience, I just took the key and drove home. When I arrived home, I cleaned the inside of the windows. If I could post pictures of the nicotine that was on those paper towels, I would. It was gross. I also cleaned the wheels with wheel cleaner and they now look like new. I know it's early, but the car seems good. HOWEVER, the absolute lack of customer service, awareness, communication and let's call it like I see it - honesty - is sorely lacking. Take this review for what it's worth.

From day one, buying my truck from this dealership was a nightmare. I should have walked away, but…read moreI really wanted the truck. It took them 3-4 days just to get the paperwork together. Then, after they finally called me in to sign everything, I sat at the dealership for eight hours waiting to finish the deal. I didn't leave until around 9:00 that night. That should have been my first warning. To make matters worse, they failed to tell me the truck was originally from Canada. It wasn't until after I had already signed all the paperwork that they informed me the remaining factory manufacturer's warranty was void because of that. That's something a customer deserves to know before signing, not after the deal is done. Fast forward a few years. They sold me an extended warranty, and now I need warranty work. My exhaust manifolds leak when the engine is cold, my oil pan is completely rusted, and all four shocks are worn out. Before bringing the truck in, I had another reputable shop inspect it, and they confirmed the shocks were shot. I'm also an aircraft mechanic, so I know the difference between good and bad suspension components. Both rear shocks are clearly worn out. One is missing its reservoir, and neither of them provides any damping anymore. They're essentially just dead shocks. Yet the dealership told me there's nothing wrong with them and even tried to blame my brand-new tires. That's beyond ridiculous. Now I'm being told the exhaust manifolds and oil pan have to wait for warranty approval, which I understand, but flat-out denying that the shocks are bad is unacceptable. From the terrible buying experience, to not disclosing important information about the truck until after I signed, to the way they're handling my warranty repairs, I've completely lost confidence in this dealership. I will never do business with them again, and I strongly recommend that anyone looking to buy a vehicle or have warranty work done stay far away.

They have three "Special rebates," and you must qualify for all three to receive a discounted rate. HINT: It's practically impossible to qualify. You have to be in the military or a veteran, have graduated from college in the past 12 months, and have purchased a car from them in the last three years. Not sure what magical unicorn of a buyer can qualify for all three, but that's the deal. All Cars on the website should be listed $2,500 more. CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC Also tried to put an upcharge of $1,980 for paying cash. Then added thousands onto the deal for no apparent reason. STAY AWAY unless you want to waste your time. All THESE POLICIES are stated in mice type on the website in the "fine print". I ran the numbers based on the website quote, and they were off by almost 3k, even when they added all nonsensical fees stated above. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
