I have been a patient of Dr. Press for several years now, although I only need to see him about every other year. Occasionally my neck gets stiff, usually from stress or working on the computer in a less than natural position. When this happens, I get headaches, stiff neck pain, and dizziness. The most recent time this happened was during the COVID-19 "shelter at home" where working from home meant using a computer at not the best angle for several hours a day. After a few weeks of this, my neck was really sore, and my head ached almost all the time. I was dizzy and lightheaded often. I went to Dr. Press for two weeks, three times a week, and then one extra visit - and my neck is feeling perfect! I'm not dizzy and don't have headaches at all. The relief was incredible. Dr. Press and his office staff are very professional and caring. One of the things I love about him is that he doesn't keep you coming back after the problem is resolved unless YOU feel that you want to. This Yelp review is written to thank Dr. Wayne Press and his wonderful staff for their care and support. I am 66 and was born with Meneire's Disease (chronic vertigo). It has impacted every part of my life. Over the past 40 years I've seen many doctors that were vertigo specialists and some that were world-renowned for their treatment of Meneire's. By 2008, my case was so severe that the last resort treatment was to sever the vestibular nerve on my left side. I agreed to have the surgery. It took over one year to fully recover. Over time the vertigo episodes became less frequent and life became more normal. That is, until October of this year. I awoke one morning with a brutal vertigo episode that did not subside for a month. I could not function at all. A friend recommended Dr. Press, but I was skeptical. How could a chiropractor help after years of doctor appointments and tests? After the first 3 adjustments the dizziness began to subside. Every week I keep improving and have not had an episode in 3 weeks. Dr. Press was generous with his time and explained everything which made sense to me. I feel better than I have in years. I've recently finished treatment with dr press for an accident where I had literally lost vision momentarily and had neck and psyiatic leg pain issues. I am a Veteran but the veterans hospital primary care doctors never listen or act on the help you need. I've been dealing with issues where it would take me 45 minutes in the morning just to get out of bed and get going for the day.... Dr press and his team have helped immensely! I visited Dr. Press's office last week for the first time. I have a number of symptoms including a stiffness from the back of my head all the way to my mid-back plus tinnitus and a slight case of vertigo. Not to mention that it was effecting my posture. I was in a car accident in December 2015. I had pretty bad back pain and had no insurance at the time, so I went to a free clinic in Simi Valley. They said I could speak to their Chiropractor about my pain, and it was Dr. Press! He told me information concerning accidents that I didn't even know about! Anyone experiencing back, shoulder, hip pain and think there's nothing that can be done needs to make an appointment with Dr. Press. I've been suffering sciatic nerve pain on my right side for many years. Doctors have essentially told me that's life and there's nothing that can be done. I was seeing Dr. Press for another back issue when I dismissively mentioned my sciatic pain. I really believed there was nothing that could be done. Dr. Press said that my belief was false and he could fix it. I was very apprehensive but went along with the treatment. After about 10 sessions, I can honestly say that my sciatic pain is 98% gone.
