IN PRAISE OF "WE GOT YA!" We love Abe Jr. from "We Got Ya!" He completely changed our lives. We were overrun, inundated, and completely infested with cockroaches for more than thirty years. Our children wouldn't even invite friends to the house because of the humiliating condition of our home. You could actually smell the roach feces. You couldn't open a drawer without seeing them skitter every which way. All hinges were encrusted with roach fecal matter. When you opened a cabinet door in the kitchen to get out a cup or a dish, roaches would come cascading down onto the already cockroach-ridden counter. We couldn't even put down a piece of food and leave the room for a couple of moments without coming back to a cockroach-covered catastrophe. Forget having pictures or diplomas hung on the wall or paperwork in drawers or any kind of boxes or cardboard. There would be roach feces and roaches all throughout those things. In short, cockroaches ran our lives. Then one blessed day, my daughter, who had gotten married and moved out, taking cockroaches with her of course, called me and told me about "We Got Ya!" Ok this is my last update.... I spoke to Abe and he apologized for the recent communication problems. He said that he has a friend who is ill and he was out of town. I will say that I happily used their services for 2.5 years and they took good care of us for a very reasonable price. Our new company is 15$ more expensive, so I dont think you will get a cheaper price for good work than with this company. Nevertheless it still stands that when working with a small business, one person being out disrupts the entire schedule. Larger companies are able to provide more coverage and have more flexible schedules, which right now we need while we go through major home renovations. If it doesnt work out with our new company I would consider going back with We Got Ya, but for now its not a fit. read more

Looking for a pest control company is never fun. My cat likes to explore the neighborhood on his own and came back with some unwanted friends even though he is treated monthly for fleas. The first service was good. The servicing employee was friendly and accommodating. However, after the first service (when the company makes the bulk of their revenue) the qualityof the customer service drastically decreased. The owner of the company would text every 3 months and tell me they were coming the next day, no prior notice, no attempt to schedule a convenient time. Additionally, the owner is not very tactful or professional in his communication. Overall, I would not recommend this company. read more

We have been using We Got Ya for at least three years now at two properties and are very happy with the service. First and foremost, we have no pests. They treat the property for whatever specific pest problem you are having, and for us it has been 100% effective. Secondly, the technician who comes is very conscientious and thorough. We have garden boxes and he is careful not to get any pesticides on them. He takes care of our entire property and never fails to pay special attention to any area we mention. Pest Control is one of those businesses you don't give a lot of thought to, right? I fought ants here since 1990!! However, for the last 5 years I have had We Got Ya to come in and treat my home for ants. Before using them, I had ants every where!! No FLEA No FLEA!!! We Got Ya is a trustable company and responds to your specific needs. There was a flea problem for a couple of weeks in our house, and it was really bad. We tried to get it under control by using different methods but did not work well. Here it is less than a month and I'm updating my review from late April for Abraham. He's checked and repaired all the home flashing so the rats cannot get in. He set bait traps and the little pests seem to be eating them. My renter generally always has questions for our handymen and she had a lot for this issue. Her comment is that he will spend as much time as it takes for understanding. Now we are looking at a gopher problem. I am almost certain that the Rancho del Rey tract was built on a big gopher mountain. Since the 80's we have had continuous problems with gophers. I have high hopes that Abraham can do his magic on these pesky rodents!. Anyone looking for great customer satisfaction, promptness, cordiality and success give this company a call first. read more

This company is very honest and sensitive to your specific needs. Period. The reasons why: 1) We had a crazy ant infestation in our home in Terra Nova. We Got-Ya never tried to sell us some monthly/bi-monthly/every six months or whatever "maintenance plan" when I was quoting around at different companies. They were honest and said that based on our specific situation, we should give it one shot and see how it goes. Plus, they were sensitive to our concerns about how any treatment would impact our toddler. So they never tried to up-sell us on something we wouldn't necessarily need; 2) When Jr. arrived, he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. While I was packing up the toddler to get out of the house for a few hours as recommended, Jr. pointed out ONE carpenter bug and relayed to me the concerns about this type of bug. He said that if he saw anymore, he might recommend additional service. I then left so he could do the treatments. He never recommended more treatments. He could have since we left the house and had no idea what was going on. This was a golden opportunity to try to sell us something that we didn't need and he didn't do it. Super great service. My property manager use Loyd as the pest control and I had a horrible case in the building of bed bugs. This was like black magic amazing :) I cannot describe the number of ants we had in the house back in June. I tried to fight them with really good-quality over the counter stuff like Terro, etc. in every single room, and they kept coming to the traps in hordes but not ever going away. Every day I had zillions of dead ants and then more ants just crawling over their bodies - yuck! It was depressing and stressful. Finally, I decided to give We Got Ya a try, and it was seriously a miracle. They told me to give it 2 weeks before the ants disappeared....well, it only took 2 days. Totally gone. We moved into our new house about 2 weeks ago and having 2 small kids I was very leery for any chemicals around my kids, but Javier was excellent at explaining everything. He worked on the backyard, garage and attic. Good communication and service. I set up an appointment with Abe through yelp in regards to a unexpected flea situation that came from babysitting another dog. Out of all the places I contacted, they had the best offer of $150 for the one time service with a 60 day guarantee. They came 2 days after I scheduled it, and sprayed/fogged the outside and inside the entire house. Took roughly 30-40 minutes, in and out. It's been a little over a week and I have seen maybe 1 or 2 fleas here and there but I wasn't expecting to kill every single one on the first try.
