Want to grab pho in the area and found this restaurant. There was some street parking close by. We ordered pho and bun. They gave sooo little bean sprouts initially. It took a bit of effort to get their attention to ask for more. But they still gave very little additional beansprout. Food tasted ok.

Dare I say, one of the best spots that serve Bánh mì in Long Beach. Not only is the ambiance comfortable in both terms of cleanliness and atmosphere, the place is very relaxing to dine in. The staff are very respectful and they seem very passionate in their work which is not something you would get often from a lot of restaurants. The seating is not as claustrophobic and there is a fair amount of space. As I was selecting from the many, diverse options--my mind immediately went to the Bánh mì. Me and my sister loved to try different kinds of Bánh mì from different places because it is a favorite in our family. I ordered the Tofu Bánh mì, and I was amazed at just how aromatic the dish smelled when it was first presented, the scent of the fresh vegetables gave me the feeling of comfort I felt when I first tried Vietnamese Cuisine. The dish was the perfect mix of tangy and refreshing wrapped up into a dish, packed with remarkable flavor that just makes you full. The vegetables had the perfect crunch to it, fresh cilantro and pickled carrots. The tofu blended in the crunch with its soft texture, making the perfect bite. The food is done well and I am impressed at how a first impression could be so interesting. Thank you to We Love Pho 2, for the adventurous opportunity to try the Bánh mì. Hoping to come again soon.

This has to be one of the best pho restaurants in OC. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Tons of parking. Employees were super patient and helpful! Expansive menu with reasonable prices!

First revisit , 2026 Review. Entered this location and was told to sit there or here. Pho is good, no complaints about that at all. Food is actually pretty good! My biggest complaint for this year is customer service. The people (servers / Host) inside this establishment forgot their customer service etiquette! We ordered one time and food was delivered, nobody came back to check up on us. Never came back to ask us how we were doing or do we need a refill of water. Something of that nature. They are so busy taking their online orders, they actually forgot about the people sitting in the restaurant. Disappointing. This place is a hit and miss with me. I experience the good and the bad. This time the bad was noticeable. They need to change their focus and commit to what is important, which is the peope dining. Also they had a corrective sign which states, food temperature correction. I was shocked to see that. I still would come here. They need improvement on their customer service manners.

Came here on a Sunday around 4pm got seated right away. Rainy day quickly got full. Small space. Service was good. Two tvs and bathrooms. Ordered the brisket small size. Enough meat in it and good amount of noodles. The broth was good but on the sweeter side I prefer savory. Condiments were fresh. All in all good for a one time try.

This restuarant is nestled within a number of other store front establishments. I was craving Pho thought I give We Love Pho 2 a try. I was greeted immediately by a server who ask that I sit anywhere I like. Upon entering it already had about three tables engaged in their meal, and a constant flow of folks picking up their to go orders. I asked for a menu but was told to use the QR Code display to view their complete menu. This menu was packed with not only Pho but , fried rice, combination fried rice, rice with beef, tufo,shrimp, or rice pick salamon, or pork. Also vermicelli bowls, vegetarian dishes, stir fried dishes, appetizers, sizes like rare beef, filet mignon, sunny side egg, meat balls, tendons. An assortment of beverages like Thai Ice Tea, Vietnamese Ice Coffee, lemonade, strawberry lemonade, fresh passion fruit, ice tea, jasmine hot tea, and sodas. I selected Pho Rare Beef & Brisket which the broth is cooked fresh each morning. The broth was so smooth and delicious I ensured to include the side of seasoning, sprouts, basil and a lot of their crumble garlic that was there at my table for the taking really had to eat it slow as it was so good. The beef just was filled with taste and was so tender. The thai ice tea was a strong flavorable bew it was delioucious. The vibe was great music they played was afobeats, urban and alternative jams just my vibe. Nice little cozy spot for a date or sôme real good friends. I really enjoyed my time had so much Pho because the bowl was large took it home . Leftovers the next day it taste even better.

Great hole-in-the-wall kind of place. The pho is super tasty and service is fair. Menus are QR codes so you will need a smart phone (yes, not everyone has one). They have great lunch specials of pho with a spring roll and soda. Comes in small or large portions. I had the rare beef and my daughter had the chicken. They are generous with the meat. You must try this place if you haven't!

Not to oily also which is great. Pinch of lime makes it almost perfect. Noodles... best part. Noodles not over done. Just perfect. Meat and toppings were spot on Only ding is the coffee... it's syrup based, not the more traditional flavor. Not bad just not for me. Will be back cause we love PHO.

You Love Pho? We Love Pho 2. I Love Pho 3! Set! Actually, I'm not totally sure that would be considered a proper set in that card game, but either way, if you love pho, you'll almost certainly love the pho at We Love Pho 2! I went out for lunch with a co-worker who had been to this pho spot before a couple of times, but I hadn't been. I hadn't had pho in over two years, and that was at an airport in a different state lol. What better way to break my fast of pho than at We Love Pho...2! But no We Love Pho 1? Well, I don't know if there ever was one (or 1), so I can't really comment on that lol. We Love Pho 2 is located on the northeast corner of Carson and Norse. There's a pretty big menu board on the sidewalk where passersby could stop by and check out what offerings are available at this Vietnamese eatery just east of Lakewood Blvd. It's also right next to a sculpture of a tennis racket and ball that you'd normally see at parks signifying that they have tennis courts. In this case, the tennis courts are on the other side of Carson St at Long Beach Community College (LBCC). As soon as we walked in, a server in the back pointed towards an empty table where we could sit. They don't have any laminated or paper menus; instead, they just have a QR code that you scan with your phone so you can see their menu. My co-worker ordered the #30 Shaken Beef with Rice. When I read the description of that on the menu, it almost sounded like there'd be no vegetables, but it turns out there was a good amount of vegetables on there. When I saw my co-worker's dish, it almost looked like a deconstructed hamburger with some steak fajitas piled into the mix. It looked pretty good, but seeing that it was my first time at a place that specializes in pho, I felt it would have been remiss to choose a non-pho dish. There are a dozen choices for pho - rice noodle soup, but keep in mind some only come in Large size. I didn't see any empty bowl sizes, like boba shops would have empty cups at the register to inform the customer how much drink they'd be getting. Luckily, we saw a few bowls on other tables, and my co-worker immediately knew they were the Large size. Having empty bowls available for the customer to see up front would be very helpful here. I was torn between the #9 Pho Special Combo and the #11 House Special Egg Noodle, the latter of which comes with quail eggs. I wasn't sure how I'd like quail eggs in pho, so I went with the #9 Pho Special Combo, which comes with sliced rare beef, brisket, tendon & beef meatballs in a beef broth. It took about 5 minutes for the server to come and take our orders, and it took even less time than that for my order to come out! That's how fast it was! It's like they already had the soup prepared in a large pot and just poured it out onto a large bowl for me to consume. Alongside my bowl was a small plate that held basil leaves, bean sprouts, and a lime wedge. It took about a couple more minutes for my co-worker's Shaken Beef to come out, but we also got some spring rolls to share. The spring rolls came at the same time as my #9 Pho Special Combo, so we could commence eating at the same time. One order of spring rolls consist of three rolls supplemented by a peanut sauce of some sort. Each roll, wrapped in rice paper, has some sliced pork and shrimp alongside a small medley of vegetables. I had one and enjoyed it with the peanut sauce, but didn't like how the rice paper got pretty sticky on my fingers. They also have shrimp rolls, which are the same minus the sliced pork; it's pretty much the pescatarian version of spring rolls. My co-worker enjoyed his shaken beef with rice and various vegetables, which also included lettuce and tomato, hence the aforementioned deconstructed burger. I enjoyed my pho as well! After dumping the contents from the small plate into my bowl, I poured some sriracha sauce on the plate to dip the beef into, and that was pretty good I must say! I also added some hoisin sauce in my soup since the beef broth, while delish and flavorful on its own for the sodium-conscious, could have used more flavor in my opinion. The noodles did get quite clumpy at the bottom of the bowl, however, but it wasn't too much of a drawback for me, though I understand it might be for others. We also got a couple of fortune cookies alongside our receipt, but the fortunes inside were more akin to proverbs. For parking, there are a handful of spots on Norse Way, but if all the spots closer to Carson are taken, there's also parking in rear. The food itself was worth 5 stars, but I later realized that we could have gotten egg rolls and soda for free since we came during the lunch special hours, which are weekdays from 10 AM to 3 PM. The server didn't mention anything about that. Also, for the Large #9 Pho Special Combo I ordered, the menu outside states that it's $15.50, but the online menu says $16.50. Our server also seemed kind of dull and vapid during our visit.

I love this spot - it's cozy and homey. They have a rare beef and meatball pho which is my go to. The broth is yummy and flavorful. I love that they have small size pho for 13 dollars which is the perfect size for me.The service is quick and efficient but it gets really busy on rainy days! It's right near the LBX hanger with street parking.

Picked up dinner for my family. Spring rolls, eggs rolls and a stir fry plate and food was great however when I bit into the spring roll I found this metal looking piece inside. I was shocked! Not sure what it could be but I hope they're careful because that so dangerous and unsanitary.

I just got off the plane from Austin, TX and was craving Asian food so my partner and I stopped here for the first time. A friend recommended this place to us. Anyway, we had Oxtail Pho, Combination Pho, and Winter Rolls (?) the ones with crispy fish. The food was tasty and definitely authentic. I was so happy and satisfied. My partner was very impressed with the size of the oxtail too. They did not skip out on the meat at all! Very good food, the place is clean, and the service was great. Alas, I was hoping to love this and barely made my way through it. We ordered: vegetarian pho, a mixed veggie dish w/noodles and an order of fresh spring rolls. Pho: probably the blandest broth I've ever had, unfortunately. And while most legit pho places include a bag of sprouts, chilies and fresh basil, we had none of that. The pho also had baby corn (odd) and the noodles did not taste fresh. Veggie dish: OK but not memorable. Fresh spring rolls: disappointing. They consisted mostly of--get this--lettuce (maybe iceberg). Sad. We've been to Vietnam so we know good pho. I guess next time we'll just stick with what we know is good here in Long Beach, like Number 9 or Hoa Sen in Westminster. read more

Today I wanted Pho and asked my neighbor if she has a place she likes. (I have only had Pho in Westminster and Garden Grove). She not only recommended We Love Pho she offered to pick it up for me! I ordered the steak pho lunch special and shrimp springs rolls. 1st the Pho is amazing! The taste is clean and delicious with just the right portions for your bowl. 2nd the spring shrimp rolls....delicious!!! Their peanut sauce taste homemade. Lastly the egg roll that comes with the lunch special was just as yummy! I'm definitely coming back and thanks to my awesome neighbor who recommended it! read more

Comfortable atmosphere, very clean. We come here from out of town for the lunch special from 10am-3pm! Good portion sizes and the food is served quickly as well. This is the firsts I have been here. I ordered from the lunch special menu which includes an egg roll and soda. I had the special combo pho. I ordered extra veggies because reviews said they were small but mine was a reasonable amount. The broth is on point as was everything else. The location is well set-up and clean. Have driven by this place many times and wondered if I should stop. Well, I did today and I am sorry to say that I was not impressed. Combo special was okay. Not enough green onions in the broth and the basil was not fresh. Meat portions and quality were good. I would give the Pho 3 stars. From the sign on the windows telling you to bus your own dishes to the server dropping off my food and never returning, service was 2-3 stars. Oh, almost forget to mention that when I got up, walked inside and asked for the Sriracha they simply pointed to the condiment tray and said I could take it to my table myself. It was not terrible, but it was not great either. 3 stars and a meh. read more

Very good! Liked the food, the atmosphere... great experience. Fun and cute area on the corner. :) I only have two suggestions for the management: (1) Please use *reusable* chopsticks and reusable cups for the iced coffee. (2) Could use some more fresh veggies with the pho--only got one slice of jalapeño. Admittedly, I didn't ask for extra--it's likely I would've been given extra if I'd asked. read more

Stopped here the other day based on google reviews because I was In the area and didn't feel like driving to my usual place . It was lunch time I had the lunch special including rare beef & brisket pho with 1 egg roll & soda. Service was much faster than they quoted me once I ordered. If I could I'd give an extra 1/2 star for that. Generally service was ok they were somewhat friendly while taking my order, however, the person who brought me my order was very friendly. The pho was not very flavorful, I would say it was average. Not the worse and not the best, just ok. The roll was ok as well. I likely won't return it didn't wow me. read more

I have been ordering from this place on a regular basis via Postmates throughout quarantine and am literally never disappointed. I came here on Saturday with my friend and I ordered a veggie pho. First thing when we walked in the worker that attended us was already being rude and giving us a very bad attitude for no reason. Mind you this place was empty and we were the only customers. I was more disappointed when our food arrived and our pho noodles were not hot. I also kindly asked for extra lemon and was hit with "i already gave your friend lemon" and he made me feel so bad. This is our weekly comfort food. We live close by and we love Pho! My hubby is very picky on the noodle and I happy that he enjoy this place so much. Every time we come over, we order 2 large bowls of Pho with tripe & rare steak, summer roll and passion fruit drink. They are good to our taste every single time. Service is standard. Not extraordinary, but no complains either. We also enjoy the clean environment in this restaurant, which is above most other Pho restaurants! ;) read more

I was so blessed to have come across a Pho restaurant like this. It all started with the phenomenal customer service and warm welcome from the manager and staff. They were funny, polite and kind, my food was hot and ready to go. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves so much that I came again. I would definitely recommend people to get to know the staff that work here!! They are amazing Serena, Lee and many more. They are hardworking and committed to giving their best service to their customers. I am truly grateful to have come across this Pho place I can not emphasize enough how wonderful the staff have been. You have to try the EGG ROLLS and the Pho Rare Beef it is made with love and best crunch I have had for a egg roll. Went in 20 mins ago . Ordered a seafood pho. I asked if I can replace the fish ball with shrimp, the girl attending said " sure " . 15 mins later . Got my order , went home and saw " NO SHRIMP" called establishment to complain , but nobody answers . Left a voicemail. That's unacceptable . 17 dollar for seafood pho and no shrimp ! Ridiculous . I can't even go back , I won't make it , they close at 8pm . Doesn't even deserve a star. read more

Worst Asian restaurant I ever been to. I bought the all in one pan fried egg noodle. Normally on this dish they add the ingredients on the side. Food was delicious but the service was definitely not great. We had to write our own order and ask for someone as there isn't anyone greeting you. They took so long to serve our full order we had to rush through our lunch. We even had to call someone's attention to be able to pay and leave. read more

Unfriendly service from the get... the boy who sat me came back to take my order and couldn't stop rubbing his eyes and didn't really make any effort to be nice. His opening line was, "do you know what you want to order?" 2. Oxtail pho- broth was bland, meat over cooked and few. Their crispy noodle, mee katang, dry noodle Phnom Penh, never disappoints. This time, I noticed the crispy noodle looks a bit thinner and a tad sweeter, but it's still really tasty. Service is always good, quick, and efficient. I've never had any issues. I highly recommend calling ahead to check if they're open before heading over.

You can also opt for oat or almond milk instead of regular condensed milk. Everything had really great fresh flavors, so no complaints about the food at all. I did, however, deduct a star for the slow service. There was only one lady working as hostess and server, but it wasn't crowded at all on the night we visited, so it was a little odd. The noodle dishes are consistently good as are the curries and soups. I love the Tom Kha which comes on its own little sterno burner to keep it bubbling away while you eat it. With most dishes, you pick your protein to add to the dish -- or just add no protein and keep it vegetarian -- which means you can get exactly what you want to eat. Trust me: get the crispy pork. You can choose your spice level, so make sure you go mild if you're sensitive to spice -- or get it extra spicy if you want that authentic Thai experience! I have a Tuesday night rehearsal a few blocks from The Basil, so I probably eat here at least 3 times a month. And I'm still trying items on the menu. Although I miss the roast BBQ chicken -- I hope it returns soon.

I was blown away by how tasty their simple pad kra pao was. So tasty and rich in flavor. Eventually, I came back a second time and tried their bbq pork dish and it was just right. Definitely a hidden gem.
