Food is amazing, the lady that serves us is kind and amazing. Would come back here. Lunch special is $14.95 good deal

I was craving Thai food and thought I try a different Thai restaurant. Cholada came up on Yelp and it was located in a strip mall with plenty of parking which was a plus. I came on a weekday during lunch and I was the only customer there so I got seated right away. The ambiance was nice with Thai decor all around. I ordered their pad see ew lunch special which came with salad, wontons, and a drink. The salad was fresh and good, especially with the peanut dressing they used. The Pad see ew was good too, tastes on par to other Thai restaurants. Overall, a good authentic Thai restaurant in Bixby Knolls!

We've been to the Malibu location a few times, and after the wildfire, we decided to try this one. For first-timers, the restaurant isn't in the plaza, even though Google Maps might lead you there. It's actually right on the street. The food had great flavor and was well-priced. Service was friendly and attentive. The place wasn't crowded, which made for a relaxing experience. Recommending: tom yum, tom kha soup, glass noodle salad, pad thai, and garlic ribs

The best Thai food in the LBC. Everything is so delicious and tastes so fresh. The customer service is amazing as well :) 10/10 definitely recommend Cholada Thai oh and they have the best Thai Tea

Greeted and seated. Ordered special Pai Thai dishes, soup and Thai iced tea. All was delicious! This place does not get crowded at all, which I was quite surprised to see. The food and service is very good. I have been here several times already and it seems like there is only like 4 -6 people whenever I drive by this establishment. I believe this place needs a word-of-mouth acknowledgement and should be recognized for the service and food given. Prices are acceptable and restaurant is clean. The only negative part about this restaurant is location. You may need to park on the street or a block away from this establishment, can be intimidating since it is a busy street and can be shady pending on the time you go. But overall, I recommend for a good Thai food experience.

2nd time coming here for dinner, my boyfriend and I will for sure come back again! Last time our seafood soup already surprised us with amazing taste! This time we ordered Tom Kah soup and Thai fried rice with beef, both blew us away again ! I went to many Thai restaurants and this one is among the top ones I would say! Highly recommended this place!

Cholada in Long Beach is one of my go-to spots for Thai food. I always order the yellow curry with tofu and brown rice--it's rich and perfectly spiced. I ask for it vegetarian (sans fish sauce), and they're always happy to accommodate. The flavors are fresh and satisfying every time. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and consistently good food.

Quick services - called ahead and was ready at said time. Not too many people but it was a weekday - clean indoor area. Food was plentiful, tasty and vegan friendly. Customer service was kind and friendly!

Oh my goodness, this hidden Thai restaurant took me by surprise. The food is top tier, delicious and very VERY flavorful. The seating area is decorated as if you really were in Thailand. The service was fantastic. The staff is so nice. I definitely will be returning to dine in next time and I'm bringing the whole family.

One of the highlights is their Thai tea, which is served with a popsicle and seems to be one of their most popular items for good reason. It's fun, unique, and absolutely delicious. I also tried the salmon curry, which was something new for me, and I ended up loving it. The flavors were rich, balanced, and unlike anything I've ordered before. Another unexpected favorite was the wings. I'm usually not a big wings person, but these were surprisingly good--crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. It's a spot I would absolutely come back to and one that I would definitely recommend to others.

Kin was one of the only restaurants open until 10 PM. We were seated right away, and somehow the five of us sat in a private room. It was kind of late for me to eat anything really heavy so I just have my usual salad and it was the beef tenderloin salad. They serve it up with a lot of beef and less veggies. The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! The Thai tea itself was pretty standard, but that popsicle was like the icing on a cake. The places, modern and clean. Staff is helpful and nice. Parking is their own lot but can be difficult to get a spot on a busy day or night.

We ordered the thai papaya salad, khao soi with beef, thai ice tea, and pork belly with khao soi curry. The food came out extremely fast! The papaya salad was nice and tangy, it came with two pieces of shrimp, definitely could've come with more but it was delicious overall, 7/10. The khao soi was delicious as well, but there was a very small amount of meat for the price and the taste didn't blow me away, 6/10. The pork belly was juicy and crispy! They gave a lot of pork and rice, I think it was worth the price of $25.95, 8/10. The thai ice tea was solid as well. Overall, this place is a bit pricey, we paid $91 for 2 people after tax and tip, but the portion sizes were good, we could barely finish everything. There is minimal parking on the street right outside of the restaurant, but there are side streets to park on.

And I looked at her very confused and said "No..? This is my first time". Then she proceeded to ask me for my ID to check just to check if the name on my credit card matched. I was very shocked with her rude comment and then getting asked to show my ID to check my credit card was correct. The whole interaction made me feel very uncomfortable and not welcome, like I was a criminal the restaurant was watching out for or something- when it was my first time visiting. I almost didn't make this review but felt it should be known if this interaction happened to someone else and I want anyone in the future to know that this is a recurring incident. Some places cannot get their broth right which does make a major difference. Sometimes it ends up being too watery and defected the purpose. Here, the broth is perfect. Also any of their curries is excellent. This time we went with the massaman curries. Nice thick broth with peanuts, potatoes, onion and carrots in a coconut sauce. Another flavorful dish. And of course we always get the papaya salad Thai style with shrimp and peanut. There also the Laos style with fermented fish sauce and salty crab. It's quite nice too but it could be too strong of a taste for some people. The food has always been excellent. Service was always excellent with friendly staff. When I notified the server (who didn't originally take our order), she came back with Green Curry w/ chicken, but it had no spice whatsoever. We had to flag down the waitress for a few times, and at some point, we ended up just going to the front counter because we got tired of waiting for someone to come by for us to get to-go containers. So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. Off the bat, the portion sizes for the tom yum and pad thai were VERY generous (from my experiences with Thai restaurants). The pad thai stood out and was absolutely delicious! The service did great with helping us out and attending to our requests. The ambiance was relaxed, and where we sat in the back was cool because there was upbeat music playing loud enough to muffle the surrounding sounds but still soft enough to have conversation at our table without needing to raise our voice.
