Absolutely delicious! Loved the veggie phô - added some garlic that was on the table to kick it up even another notch. Particularly enjoyed the very fresh veggies, including mushrooms and bean sprouts, and the fried tofu. I paired it with the fresh passion fruit drink which was phenomenal! I didn't eat the spring roll that came with my lunch special ($20, including the up-charge for the passion fruit drink) because it had pork (appreciated my server telling me it wasn't vegetarian since I ordered the vegetarian phô). Service was fast, if a bit lack-luster. Will definitely return! read more

I came by for dinner with a friend--our first time back in a looooooong time and we were both pleasantly surprised at how much better it was than we remembered! We used to come here for lunch fairly often when we worked nearby, but I don't get over to this part of town that much anymore. The interior looked pretty much the same, but the quality of their food and service seems to have improved. I got the large seafood pho with egg noodles, and it was very satisfying, with a great broth and lots of pieces of seafood. My friend got a large standard beef pho, which she really enjoyed as well. Our server was very friendly and prompt, and you can now pay your bill at the table--I seem to recall you had to go up to the counter to pay in the past, like at a first-generation pho place. The prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. They also have some vegetarian options; need to come back here with the hubby! read more

I normally love this place!!! The Pho is great, just had a horrible experience with being seated which is upsetting because I've never experienced this type of situation here before. The place was packed and there was one table left. ( waitress) asked me how many I told her one. She said she had to clean the last table they had. I told her no problem. There was a man sitting waiting next to me once she saw him she asked him was he waiting he said yes and then she told me " the last table is for him" then walked away.. I stood there confused because I could clearly see he was waiting for a take out order not a table. So I went to her and said I understood if the table wasn't available but you walked away without asking if I wanted to place a to go or wait .. She looked at me and said u can seat at the booth and turned and went to explain what happened to the manager. Now I could see and hear their entire conversation. She comes back and says he will take your order . Pointing to another waiter. I asked him to speak to the manager the first waitress was just talking to . He rudely said she's busy now. Remember, I could see her from where I was standing and I told him to please call her. I need to speak with her. I calmly explained what happened and told her I was going to leave , but not because the food isn't good it's the customer service. Both the waitress and waiter were extremely rude and dismissive and to boot the guy that she thought was waiting for a table was waiting for his takeout order. They gave him his food as I talked to the manager and left. I won't be patronizing a business that treats their customers, this way even if it's really good pho. read more

Came in at almost closing time on Monday. It was very easy to get in and get seated. I ordered a #9 (Pho Special Combo) Large. I was impressed by how quickly it arrived - it took just 2 minutes. I noticed that fried garlic is used as a condiment, which is not something that I see too often, so that was nice. There was very little basil given compared to other Pho places. There was also no sauceplate or dish for sauces that is found in most other Pho places. The meat tastes pretty good and the meatballs came in funky shapes. Interestingly, the noodles felt hotter than the broth. I was satisfied with the quantity of meat. A lot of other places are stingy but I felt like the amount of meat I got was fair. I got the rare beef brisket pho and some pork fried egg rolls. The Thai tea is amazing not too sweet, I'm having it as I typing this review. Located near Long Beach City College, We Love Pho 2 can be easily missed if you aren't paying attention. Additionally, parking is a bit limited as there are so many different restaurants and shops in the area. The moment you enter, you are given a friendly greeting and quickly seated. The menu itself isn't super robust, in fact, it's comparable to other pho places. The biggest oddity, to me at least, is the menu is 100% in English. I've never seen that in any pho restaurants I have been too. I arrived and ordered the combination pho which included a little bit of all the meats in a beef broth. It took a bit to get my food. I was searching for a Pho after work and We love Pho 2 was close to my job. I drove to it and sat down right away and my food was brought to my table very quickly. Pho is one of my comfort foods and this place felt cozy and welcoming. I was greeted by staff and Serina the server checked in to my table couple of times to make sure everything was good. We had barely the opportunity to review the menu. As I watched, it was clear they have a steady business of regulars that know what they want before they enter the restaurant. We ordered the No. 4 (Summer Rolls) to share. My wife had the No. 20 (Shrimp/Pork/Chicken) with egg noodles. I had the No.8 (Pho Shrimp). All items were delicious! Clean and very comfortable location. Most of the Phos come in two sizes, Regular and Large. The quality of the food is good and the choice of sauces is larger than most places I have been to.
