Small & quaint little bar! Nice place to grab a quick drink in Midway. They also have a small outside patio area.

Wonderful spot with wonderful food! Would highly recommend. The view alone is worth a stop in!…read more Staff was super friendly our servers Devin, Matana, and the manager Scott all made us feel right at home with some great food recommendations. Stroganoff is amazing if you are a fan. My mom had the fried chicken and the fried shrimp were a great start to the meal. Ended with a great oatmeal berry crisp with vanilla ice cream!

They were not; they were actually 50% or more higher at the restaurant. The hamburger that was showing on Yelp for $15 was actually $22. The Steak Frites advertised for $22 were $35. I understand inflation, but this was a gross enough difference that it borders on deception, in my opinion. I also had a bad experience with my food: I ordered a cup of their chili (which they claim is made from scratch, on-site) and it was brought to the table cold. Like, "right out of a can" cold. Kelsi, our fantastic server, returned it to the kitchen where (I presume) they nuked it and brought it back. It was heated, but not very tasty. Flat; under-seasoned; mushy textured. Definitely something I'd never order again. Many reviews say the atmosphere is "loud" but what they mean is, it's "LOUD". We were seated inside, and it was nearly impossible for the three of us to converse. The acoustics are not great. Enough cons; how about some pros? My burger was FANTASTIC! piled high with caramelized onions and pastrami, but beef patty tasted like it'd just come off a charcoal grill. Terrific flavor in every bite. (The parmesan fries were tasty, too, but a little on the soggy side.) My dining partners each had a salad (one 'wedge' and one 'beetroot') and both were well-prepared and generously portioned. And, finally, the staff, the location, the vibe: All really first-rate. I'll probably come back, if I ever recover from the bait'n'switch sticker shock. (But I'll steer clear of the chili and opt to dine on the patio, if that's available!)

The service was quick and attentive. My husband had a few beers which he said were good. I didn't feel like drinking but I did have cheese fries and the fried cauliflower. The cheese fries were with a yummy cheese sauce-the old school yellow Velveeta-like kind, so good. The cauliflower was delicious-perfectly seasoned with the buffalo sauce. It has this old world feel to it, like it's been around since the 1900's. Although it isn't that old. Several TV's available to watch sports. Pub food at its finest. I enjoyed my Club Sammy - it was filled with meat and I could barely get through half of it! The fries- superb! Best fries I've had in a long time. My husband had the Reuben bread was nice and fresh, thought the sandwich was good but could use more meat. He really liked the fried cheese curds as a side. Kiddo had the hot dog with cheese fries. Service was good. There was no available parking in front, but we found a spot in the back and walked in through through the back door.

The best part of this restaurant is the view off the small patio…read more We made reservations online at a cost of $12 for each person which I thought was strange. On the website it says the $12 will go towards your meal. When we arrived, we checked in at the hostess booth, which was just outside the door. When we walked into the dinning room we noticed there was NO ONE seated at any of the tables. We were seated clear in the back by the server's station looking into the kitchen. (I noticed they use box wine) Why she sat us clear in the back on a tiny table for four people is beyond us. (There were six of us.) Finally, we had to ask her to put two tables together so that we could all have room to eat. I ordered a mimosa with orange juice. We asked if the orange juice was freshly squeezed and she said no it wasn't. It tasted just ok, the sparkling wine they used was Not champagne for sure, and it tasted as such. We tried to order the grilled asparagus and the Japanese soufflé pancakes, both were not available. I ordered the Sunrise Baguettes for our appetizer and the Citrus Cognac Pain Perdu, and For the Groms for the main entre. The waitress didn't bring out the "Warm bun Basket" as indicated on the menu, but some Rock Hard OLD cinnamon buns with rock hard icing! I tried to put my fork into one and my fork wouldn't go in.... literally. Mind you these small buns were just sitting on the counter waiting for the flies to land on them, no covering, no wonder they were rock hard and old. The palette cleanser came out next which was the best food item of the morning. However, they used some bottom shelf balsamic vinegar which was bitter. Then came our brunch items. What shock when we saw how small the French toast was, just two small burnt end pieces of a baguette. The menu said it came with maple syrup, none was brought to our table. For my order the food was cold and old. It looked and tasted like it was from a few days ago, and they just heated it up in the oven or microwave. The hashbrowns were so greasy, and not fresh at all, the same for the scrambled eggs. Usually when I've had scrambled eggs they are light and fluffy and warm, not here! The waitress came over and said "I forgot to put in the order for the Sunrise Baguettes, I will do that now and not charge you for them." Uhhh ok. They never did show up, and the good thing is she didn't charge us for them. When the "included dessert" came out, we all had to share, we didn't get our own dessert. I took one bite and couldn't eat it. I'm not a fan of yogurt. I didn't eat it, so my partner got to eat it all. Why didn't we get our own dessert, these were too tiny to really share? Last by not least, the waitress didn't apply the money from the reservation to the bill. We didn't notice until we walked outside. When we brought it up to the waitress she said "No, that is to make a reservation." We asked to talk to a manager, and she said there wasn't one around and she would have the manager call us. What no manager on duty! I don't recommend eating here, but if you do, just go as a walk in, there is plenty of seating (we had the whole dining room to ourselves) and bypass the $12 to register that won't get taken off your bill.

We ended up passing plates around the table so everyone could sample different items, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. It's rare to find a place where every meal that comes out of the kitchen is a hit, but this restaurant delivered. Unfortunately, I can't remember our server's name, but she was fantastic--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. She knew the menu inside and out and made several recommendations that turned out to be excellent choices. I also love the atmosphere. The family photos on the walls create a warm, welcoming vibe that makes the restaurant feel special and authentic. On top of that, the restaurant was spotless, which is something I always notice and appreciate. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and exceptional cleanliness. After three visits, I can confidently say this place has earned every one of its five stars. We'll definitely be back!

So our first experience was horrible but we decided to give them another try with the hopes that it was a one time thing. First visit- sat right by the front door so the freezing draft hit us every time it opened. The restaurant is one big room with just tables so it can get very loud. The biggest bummer was that someone threw our ticket away and by the time that we found someone to help and they realized what had happened our meal had to be started from scratch and came out sporadically so by the time my food came my husband was finished. They gave us a discount but it kind of ruined the entire night. Fast forward to now... I made a reservation, noted that we were celebrating a birthday and called the night of to confirm the birthday. I was hoping to surprise my son who was in from out of town with a dessert, song and brought his present. Fast forward to dinner... as we were wrapping up our server asked about boxes and then quickly dropped the check. I immediately got up and found a waitstaff and said that they missed the birthday and the next thing I know the server comes to the table and asks in front of everyone what I needed. I said that we had a birthday and he walked off and then the hostess comes up and says that they'll do a dessert with a candle if it's paid for... which I would have paid for but was never told and we already had the check and this is all happening in front of my son whom I hardly get to see and was trying to surprise. So at that point we just got up and left but that truly ruined my night I was so sad. Besides the service issues my husband said that both times he had ordered the lasagna that it was served lukewarm at best. He's one that likes a warm if not hot meal. The rest of the food was good but we sadly won't be back.
