My husband and I were very happy to see a family owned pool business open up in our area. We like to see small businesses grow and thrive and so we decided to give them a try. In the past couple of years, we have found Sean and Eva to be very knowledgeable and friendly. We recently had a new pool pump installed and Sean actually installed it, himself. He was quick, courteous and very helpful. He has a great way of explaining things. The pool store is also very nice and laid out well so that the items we are looking for are easy to find. We have rarely had to wait before somebody comes to answer our questions about chemicals for our pool. . We are impressed and won't go anywhere else for our pool questions! I hired Sean because he was affiliated with the H.E.R.O. program for selling and installing Energy Star products under a Edison program. I bought a new pool heater and pump from him. Nice guy, fast talker, but not much of a performer. You would be better off with someone a bit more professional. To be blunt, I wouldn't buy a used car from him. read more

This place is absolutely horrible the worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life by someone who calls himself a professional!! The owner Sean came to my house to change out some old plumbing the new plumbing he put in leaked!!! He also changed out my spa check valve and put in the wrong part, a valve that did not even go to my equipment so it would completely drain my spa as soon as the equipment was turned off! He had a whole list of things that he said he could fix when the whole time there was absolutely nothing wrong except that he put in the wrong part!!! I went to talk to him he raised his voice and yelled at me and was completely rude and took no responsibility for anything!! I had to hire someone else who came out and within five minutes knew there was absolutely nothing wrong except for the valve that Sean put in was wrong! I would've felt different had he taken any responsibility for putting in the wrong part but he did not all he did was lie and scoot around the truth!! read more

We payed this pool service almost 1,000 dollars to fix our pool. Our pump had stopped working, the pool turned green, and the man advised us to remove our solar panels because due to that it was causing our pool to turn green. He advised us it would be best to empty out the pool and start from scratch so we did. Within 4 days the pool has turned green again. We texted the man and his response was "110 temps, Looks like allot of swimmers in that pool last weekend pool plus it's got ash from fire". That isn't an excuse for the pool to turn green so fast. He said he was all booked so couldn't fix the problem. He assured us once all this was done our pool would stay green and we wouldn't have a problem. Well he lied. Bought a pool heater after I bought a new house and got it installed by Weilands pool supply.. Horrible mistake , few months later sensor reading wasn't working properly. According to Sean it was my bad pool chemistry. My question to him was ..Why would they install it knowing my chemistry was bad ? Doesn't it take just a few minutes to check and recommend draining the pool before installation ? Wouldn't that be part of the service or is it just too much to Ask for ? Guess not ..they just install and then don't care and don't assume responsibility because they already did the job and got paid for it. Had a hard time with the owner Sean as he pretty much told me off and was yelling his lungs out over the phone.. Eventually the Hayward guy fixed the problem but never again will I deal with this guy again.. And recommend you think twice before buying from them as they will not assume responsibility ..I did not bother to look at the reviews before buying a very expensive heater .. Do not make the same mistake I did . 5/27 to your reply Sean .. I do remember signing that I received the heater, that it was working properly, and received the 64 pg service and installation manual and the 16 pg owners manual? Surely you didn't expect me to keep your employee here on overtime while I reviewed the fine print . What a joke. you fixed the problem??? Haha no! The Hayward specialist did.. Clearly you have no communication with your receptionist because like I told her, the first time the problem was fixed the pool was drained then a few weeks later the sensor gave out again by this time Leslie's pool had been checking the pool chemistry . I asked for a simple programming service. A guy named Dave, as my mother described he was probably younger than 20 years old and obviously no experience. She told me he was going based off YouTube videos to do the service!!!!!! I asked for simple 6 hours high speed programming from 6pm-12am, and he did it but also let me pool be programmed to filter at low speed from 9am-3:30(which I never asked for). I called him again about it and he said he will come down and reprogram it. Well he did come and never programmed anything. He simply turned off all programming because he doesn't know how to program it. Now I turn my pool on and off physically when I get home. I tried messaging him, calling him and surprisingly he doesn't answer my calls anymore. These people are not professionally at all. Avoid them at all cost. I called there store and a lady answered and never let me finish my sentence and hung up on me. Then the owner called to find out what was going on and he didn't let me finish what I was saying because he is rude and incomprehensible to customers and when I asked for a refund and refused their service after wasting my time twice, then he got verbal, and threatened me if I come to the shop and he will kick my a** out, and bring who I want to fight him!!! What a moron! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I told I'm to keep the $65 and to go f*** himself. After I wrote the review on Facebook, yelp, Google, etc his wife calls me and tells me "I'm asking politely if you can revise your review. I know you're an entrepreneur and I would do the same thing to your business if you don't revise your review"!!! Can you believe how dirty this business is and the owners?! I told her to go ahead and write what she wants, she never purchased anything from me and I will simply report it. Then she got rude all over again and I hung up on her. Avoid these scumbags. I have reported this business to the Better Business Bureau Organization and filed a complaint to U.S. department of labor for discrimination and hatred verbal abuse by the owner, which I was advised by BBB.org I should've payed Leslie's the extra bucks and had professionals come down to program it, not sending me a kid to do my pool and deal with unprofessional owners. This has been the worst service I have ever had.. I have had my pool for 16 years and service with a professional pool company. The price was right so I switched company's and hired Sean.. What a nightmare 6 months of constant algae.. Who gets algae in winter with a pool company??? I do.. Sean was rude, shady and still did not correct the problem.. Horrible service!! NO STAR. Let me first say I was with sean and Weilands for 2 1/2 years too long. I just always let things go even though deep down I knew that to get "Good" customer service it was going to cost from him. When i confronted, challenged, or however you would put it in your own terms well lets just say he would never budge. Not a man of his word (see the ending), has to be right, if questioned or challenged you may be in for a surprise. If you need additional products or service other than pool brushing and chemical check there will be additional fees. Tabs are on you. Filter cleaning is on you although now he includes that in his service fee which is a higher monthly fee. His initial charge was $85 per month & less than a year later he bumped it up to $95. I was caught off guard. My first job/ interaction with him in regards to a fairly big job. My conditioner level was super high & the only way to bring it down was to ultimately drain the pool. I figured since I was at this point, I should consider some repairs. I had it acid washed, new spa light put in, and vacuum covers at the bottom of the pool replaced. I received the quote and gladly paid the price. If I remember correctly it was in the $1600 range. All he does is clean pools. He subs everything else out. Pump installs, timer set up, tile cleaning, tile installation, acid washes, etc. Anyhow, when complete i was going over what had been done & talking about pool maintenance. Come to find out he never cleaned the pool cartridges in my filter. I asked him about it & the conversation escalated to him becoming very aggravated about the added cost of him having to spend additional time cleaning the filters. I told him that just makes no sense. Why would you not service the filters when putting brand new fresh water in our pool. I assumed that it was part of the entire pool rehab process. Not the case. If I had wanted that part done I would have had to pay an extra $100 for his time spent is what he responded with. That particular stipulation was never discussed. I had even asked him "why wouldn't you just include that in the original estimate". I ended up just cleaning the filters myself after the rehab. The issue sat with me for a long time and I would watch out our window on service days, if I was home to see what type of service he was providing. His average pool time ranged from 15-30 min depending how bad the pool was. MOST of the time it was in the 15min range. I was in need of a pool guy & I figured I would stay with him. I tried to let it go... He previously mentioned that the filters should be cleaned every few months and it was coming time to clean them after our pool rehab. I couldnt help but bring up the fact again that he never cleaned the filters during the rehab. I brought up the fact that maybe he could stay a little longer and clean the filters. He once again became very standoffish and he responded with "If your pool is blue and clear what do you care how long I stay". Holy crap who talks to customers like that.... Granted I live in the windy corner of Rancho and I know our pool would get very dirty at times but I always made an effort to give the pool a quick skim. Never wanted to ruin my brand new expensive pump by it running dry because of debris from the wind. I just figured all those days when it was too windy on service days or rainy weather prevented service, well why not just make up those missed days by doing the service. He hated the fact I said this to him and he about flew off the handle. He would say "we will still come out within a couple days", but with all the other pools in the area he services, well lets just say he didn't always make it until the next service day. This was pretty much day one. I was having problems with pump not priming and jets were running in my spa. I had called him early in the month to let him know my pump wasnt priming. He spent a few min on the phone going through the direction of the valves at the pump saying I ultimately needed to clean the filters. I took his advise, cleaned filters, and tried to adjust the valves. I still could not get a prime. He said he "WOULD COME OUT FREE OF CHARGE TO LOOK AT VALVES" which he did. He found the vac needed repair & adjusted valves. I said cool fix it and paid for vac parts. No big. Pump wasn't priming again a few days later. Called him again and he was very insistent that the problem was with my filters. Long story short I met with his service tech & found it to be the tech that had moved the valves for cleaning and it was not allowing the pump to prime. Never had sean or his other techs used this method. I was fed up called sean and cancelled service. A few hrs later I get a BILL FOR HIS SERVICE CALL earlier this month & for an hr class of pool school from his tech. Tech was there maybe 40 min. BTW never had wkly service about 4wks ago when it rained so i figured whats the big deal in trouble shooting my problem. I will gladly pay the $45 to be don read more

The owner claimed he had been doing all of these things to keep my pool up when in fact he wasn't. The pool had algae in it and the owner kept saying that there was nothing he could do about my pool until the out skirts where the dirt in the flower bed was had been covered. I asked several neighbors who owned pools if they thought that was true and they told me "No! the pool must not be getting the right treatment." So I had another certified pool man come check out the pool and he said. "The pool has hardly any chemical it, and the filters are covered in algae that there was no way he could have been cleaning the filters or treating the pool with chemical." He also stated,the flower bed had nothing to do with the algae in the pool." An ongoing issue that had been going on for over a month was taken care of by the new pool man I hired IN JUST ONE DAY!
