Hubby and I tried this for the first time today and REALLY enjoyed it! He got 2 slices of pepperoni while I got a slice of cheese and a slice of the margherita and they were all delicious. The dough was crispy on the bottom and the crust was a wonderful thickness. Super friendly service and plenty of seating - a few tables outside and one long table with chairs + 2 smaller tables off to the side. REVIEW IS FOR PIZZA ONLY NOT SERVICE. I've been talking this place up for months to my co workers since it's right down the road, and from Instagram it looked to die for. We finally got a pie today and it was very disappointing. I love a good cheese pull but most of the pizza's cheese was falling off. I don't mind paying $30 for a pizza if it's worth it, but this sadly was not. Also the grease on our pizza was unbearable. This might be the top 5 worst pizza's in LA. It's a very heavy pizza and they claim to be from NY, maybe New York Texas. The undercarriage of the cheese pizza was still doughy and not baked throughly. If you're looking for pizza that tastes like the pizza at your local elementary school with heavy sauce and playdough bread and government cheese then this is the place for you. As a cheese bread maybe this would have been passable, but for a somewhat more than average priced pizza, the crust was awful. I've had better/more flavorful tasting crust at Dominos. The Pizza looks as good as the pictures. Having had a lot of NY Style pizza in my life this place made me feel like I was back home in the East Coast!! The crust is crunchy with that nice color of being Baked Correctly. The Cheese - the cheese was top quality and had that nicely baked color. I'm BLOWN AWAY by the service this place has. These guys are awesome. I don't really care to leave reviews too often but I just had to. The moment I called, the woman on the phone (Daniela I believe) had heavenly energy and warmth to her. I felt so taken care of and embraced over the phone. I recently broke my toe/foot and have been limping around. As I placed my order with her, it came up mid-banter that I was injured but I wasn't expecting anything, it was just conversation. I fully expected to limp myself in there to get my pizza but she insisted that when I got there to call her and she would bring it out. I felt really taken care of and her service made my day. Earlier that day I ate a restaurant where they harassed me 3 separate times about leaving them a review and to tip where I honestly felt the service lacked but Daniela single-handedly took care of me and made me feel great and deserved every bit of tip I sent. Although the pizza is really delicious and we live within walking distance, we called twice this evening and were put on hold for a long time and no one ever picked up. We had to order from another restaurant who actually did answer their phone. I am happy that they are doing well and we hope they can hire more staff to accommodate customers.
