We have ordered pizza from here several times and each pizza has always been awesome. But the MVP is truly the MVP (especially if you're a vegetarian like I am.) We added ricotta to it and 10/10 recommend it. It has to be one of the best vegetarian pizzas in LA. So damn good. Service is always friendly, the only downside I'd say is parking is sometimes difficult but we usually manage to find street parking relatively close.

This is a followup to my previous review since I've had a couple of different slices from around the San Fernando Valley. For me the only downside to Weirdough's is it's 14 miles from my apartment otherwise I would be having my dinner from there every night. Yes, that's right it is that scrumptious!!!!!! Every thing I've had from there is beyond amazing. Today I had a chicken sandwich. First time I didn't have pizza and OMG, so so good. Next, totally a welcoming family place with Papa Vin cheffing and Alessandra out front. Last but not least as a recent transplant from my home town of Nu Yawk being able to watch my NY Knicks play game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals a real treat. For me pure heaven to go and enjoy at Weirdough's. I feel like family whenever I go there.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! We came just to grab some slices and I'm so glad we did. The service was great. Slices were ready super quickly. We ordered 8 different slices honestly don't even remember all of them, but I LOVED the elote and the spicy chicken one. The flavors were amazing! It is street parking and the store is small with a few tables inside and outside!

They really have no competition here in Los Angeles as they stand out so well with true school New York slices like the artichoke slice is so unique and tasty. You can't find that anywhere else and my new favorite thing. Angry Birds. I love this place. You are paying a high price, but it's worth it. Give it a try!

I'd been hearing about Weirdough's ever since moving to L.A. & FINALLY decided to stop by yesterday evening to satisfy my pizza craving. The restaurant is cute n' quaint, warm & inviting...merging the traditional Italian pizzeria feel (e.g. gingham tablecloths, the signature brick wall, vintage photos, etc.) with quirky accents, like Weirdough's eye-catching deck of curated question cards placed atop each table. It was fairly busy, with a group of patrons dining on the sidewalk & many customers ordering take-out inside. I was promptly greeted by a young lady at the register then made my way to the pizza display counter, where I stood for a while just in awe of all the unusual (dare I say "weird"?) albeit delicious-sounding offerings of gourmet slices. Stuffed Philly cheesesteak pizza, anyone? After realizing that I couldn't possibly make up my mind, I decided to play it safe because no one has ever gone wrong with a slice of classic cheese pizza! I also ordered some freshly baked garlic knots for quality assurance purposes ;) A smiling lady soon approached me from behind the counter & invited me to sit as I waited for my order. She was the owner & we ended up having such a pleasant exchange. Daniela told me that her husband makes all the pies & by the way she raved about her family, it was evident that she's extremely proud of the business they established in 2020. She was so genuinely sweet, kind & curious-something I'm not really used to experiencing here yet-and made me feel seen. Yes, I was just stopping in to get pizza, but her personality stood out for me & it was clear that she really values her customers. I couldn't WAIT to chow down & before I could even open my car door, someone was ready to take my prime parking space. So I left as quickly as possible & headed down the street...WHERE I DEVOURED MY ORDER IN MY CAR because there was no way I could wait until I got home; everything smelled so amazing! The pizza was piping hot & truly tasted like an authentic slice of New York-style pie that I love & miss. The crust had the right balance of crunch & chewiness, the sauce was perfectly seasoned (not one-dimensional or acidic) & the cheese was cheesin' big time! I knew it was whole milk, full fat mozzarella because it was so stringy...something we should all expect on any self-respecting slice. Then I dived into the garlic knots. Holy cannoli, they were SO pillowy soft & yummy, I almost forgot that there was a giant container of sauce in the bag! All in all, I can't wait to return but must remember to only wear pants with an elastic waistband for my next visit. Until then, I'll give Weirdough's a follow on Instagram!

My new favorite pizza place! A co-worker spoke highly of it, and I try to come once a week or every other week, and I always try a slice different from before. They have countless original recipes, and each day they're open, they offer different flavors from their appetizing arsenal. Service is wonderful and staff are more than happy to explain the "pie of the day," which is always a new and original flavor off the menu! My goal is to try each and every one of them! It may take a while, two slices or even just one is more than enough to fill someone up (unless you're especially hungry). It's a nice, small place whether you're doing a quick pickup or want to sit and enjoy your pizza. Stop by Weirdough's! Bring a box or two for the family, for friends, or for a party!

One of the best pizza places in the metropolitan area. Surely one of the best, if not THE BEST pizza places in Burbank. Down the street from where we live, it's become an almost weekly occurrence. Long week - Weirdough's, long day - Weirdough's, rainy day - Weirdough's. I sometimes even stop in for a slice on my way home from work. Service is phenomenal and the ambiance is the neighborhood gem vibe.

Got 2 slices of the Plain and 1 slice of the Brooklyn Square. The pizza was outstanding. The pizza sauce had a well balanced tomato flavor. Good quality cheese for the right amount of gooeyness. The crust for the Plain slice was thin and very crispy. The crust for the Brooklyn Square was also crispy and had a nice chewy texture. Service was friendly and prompt. There is limited seating inside and a couple of tables outside. Parking is available along the street.

Last Tuesday, my family & I got dinner from Weirdough's Pizza. There's only street parking and we quickly found a spot across the street. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing and there were a few parties dining, but it wasn't busy and we didn't have to wait to order. It's a casual spot and would be good for small groups. However, we didn't stay because we got takeaway. We ordered a whole pie of The Red Light (~$37) and a slice of the bacon & fig special of the day (~$5.50). The crust was tasty and the sauce was kind of sweet for both pizzas. I preferred the bacon & fig special slice because it had a nice balance of sweet & savory toppings. I thought The Red Light was more savory, albeit a bit wet from the pepperoni oils and hot honey. The staff also gave us complimentary Garlic Knots with a side of red sauce, and these were aromatic, pillowy-soft, and delicious. Although the food and service were good overall, the prices deter me from visiting again soon, especially when there are many pizza spots around town.

This place has a truly unique name, which suits its pizza slices very well! I ordered the Las Vegas slice, which was essentially a loaded baked potato on a pizza slice. Surprisingly, it was really delicious! The garlic knots were a great addition. The staff were very friendly, and it turned out they were from the east coast just like me. I'll definitely stop back in Burbank the next time I'm there!

I've taken a few pizzas home since the first time I went and they haven't been as good at home. Soggy and too heavy for me. They also don't have delivery and they are closed sundays which I find weird for a pizza joint. I'd recommend going there when they share open and having a slice rather than ordering a whole pizza.

I visited Weirdoughs for the first time today and the unique slices definitely lived up to the shops namesake. The inside is small, but it's packed to the brim with pizzas I've never even thought of. I order two slices, but only got through a slice and a half. Both the Pastrami and Las Vegas were very tasty and stacked high with toppings. Between the two, I enjoyed the Las Vegas more by just the tiniest margin. The pastrami meat was great, but my decision is based off the cheeses. I've always been a big Guere fan, but the Gorgonzola on the Las Vegas was new to me and it blew my mind. I also ordered a slice of the Stuffed Philly Cheesesteak, but ended up not going through with it once I saw the total. The three slices were just under $30 because the Philly is $10! I paid about $18 for the two and still felt like the meal was overpriced until I started eating. For one person, a single slice offers plenty of quality and food for the price! My experience at Weirdough's was different than any other pizza shop I've been to. As of now, I highly recommend this spot for anyone interested in trying some "weird" pizza. I'll be back to try their more traditional squares and slices to see if they're also worth recommending! Las Vegas Slice 8.9/10 Pastrami Slice 8.8/10

You can tell this pizza is made with real love. Authentic Jersey style pizza with everything and more; garlic knots, homemade sausage, fresh mozzarella, and the sauce... so good. My favorite is the sausage and onion 10/10. Service is 6 stars; Papa Vin, the Mom, and daughters make it all ever more special. You can feel family even from the customers sitting down to eat. We got the meatball pizza (specialty) and as you can see.. we added the onions. You will love the environment.. the people.. the food. By far the best pizza in LA. read more

The pizza and garlic knots were very good. It's a small place with community seating, which is nice. They have fun "conversation starter" cards on the table, which the kids liked. If you don't like sitting next to a stranger, may not be the place for you, but we enjoyed our visit and food! read more

Amazing pizza the dough is everything. The sauces are really good as well, we tried the buffalo chicken which it has a lot of chicken a little too much blue cheese but is fine we also had the the one with all different kind of sauces and it was really good as well. Good service as well. read more

Love this place!!!!! How Kev eats reviewed this place. So we figured let's give it a try. Wow! It was fabulous! I got chicken Parm vodka slice. Out of this world! Our youngest got in n out slice. MOST IMPORTANT: ITS FAMILY RAN. So you know most probably the food is going to be a banger. I have been 3 times and all the times the family is very welcoming, gives you samples. The pizza is crispy, great ingredients and made by the owner. What else can you ask for. His wife told us that he has been making the pizza himself for over 40 years. The kids liked the pizza and so did the adults, go there for the pizza stay for the family. read more

Not impressed. Lets start with the pizza. The sauce in my opinion was overly sweet, while the dough had a strange after taste. The pizza was also extremely oily with the oil literally dripping off the slices while eating. Certainly better pizza in Burbank than this place. Add to the poor tasting pizza that parking is pretty much non-existent, coupled with being told pizza would be ready in 20-25 minutes when i called when in reality is was close 40 minutes. For me this will be a hard pass in the future. read more

This is the best pizza in the valley. I almost don't even wanna write this review because I don't want people to come here and make the place busier, but everyone must know that this is truly on another level. I'm from the East Coast and I have been long looking for the perfect New York pizza and this place is basically just that. There are a ton of pizza places within like a five minute walk in this area, but THIS is the one. I have a personal love for Reno's right down the street because the owner is such a great guy and the pasta is delicious but is the place you want to go if you want perfect pizza. The only thing I wish this place had was a quick dessert to add. Like gelato or a slice of chocolate cake. Otherwise, it's perfect no notes. read more

Tried today for first time and it won't be the last. One of the best places I have had for specialty pizza. Our eyes were bigger then our stomach but we had the Animal Style pizza, the pastrami pizza (which by the way if the owner is reading this I think both of those need pickles , my humble opinion) and we had the Philly cheese steak and that are all a MUST TRY. Can't wait to go back and try more , looks like they maybe had sandwiches he's also but couldn't even entertain that idea YET! Service was AMAZING also !!! Great job guys ! Weirdoughs, you have spoiled us, we can't even order pizzas anywhere else. Recently we tried the vegetarian pizza and it was amazing and I hate veggies, ok? Chicken bbq pizza was also great! (We've been ordering Weirdough's since they were at the Studio City location) My kid still remembers their lollipop jar. So happy they're in Burbank/Toluca Lake now! read more

This is the best pizza in LA, period. Papa Vin and the family (all of whom are the sweetest people you'll ever meet) have brought incredible New Jersey pies to Burbank. Crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and topped with the freshest ingredients. The specialty buffalo chicken pie is what dreams are made of. I will drive 45 minutes out of my way in rush hour traffic just to eat this pizza -- if that doesn't tell you how great it is, nothing will. I love you, Weirdough's! read more

Me and my husband finally tired this place this past weekend! It was amazing good pizza! My only complaint which I hate doing is the customer service..the girl seemed rude kinda made us feel like we weren't wanted there didn't smile or anything so it definitely made us feel unsure if we would go back but I did enjoy the pizza! For a place that uses a 'dough' pun in its name, the dough was pretty disappointing. Crust was burnt Super greasy, looked nothing like their pics Bland 'dough' crust with no flavor Cheap pepperonis used Cheese wasn't good Only one size is offered Overpriced for the quality it is We ended up throwing away half the pizza read more

Great place tucked in the back of the alley. To find it, it is recommended to enter from the side of the shell gas station. They do offer parking but it's limited. The place is small but very welcoming. It is nice decorated and you feel right at home. Although, my order was to go, it makes me want to come back to enjoy a beer or wine and eat in. The order was taken right way and made it to my specific request. I have to make a note that the toppings they offer are limited to pepperoni,bacon and sausage. I went for a white pizza and added sausage. Cooked to perfection and in a timely manner. I would be coming back. Thank you! read more

***heavy sigh*** So good . We had the Bianca, and it was perfection. Added mushrooms, with marinara on the side. Crust has a that good chew, without being too dense. I may have dreams tonight about the burrata cheese. Its a small place, but it has a friendly cozy vibe. You can eat out front without being assaulted by heavy traffic going by. It's was worth the drive and we will definitely be a regular spot for us now! read more

Wow! Searching for somewhere to eat after a very long afternoon touring Warner Brothers. My boys asked for pizza and we are so happy we found this gem. The pizza was delicious. They're back and better than ever! Now in a permanent location, open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM, with pizza by the slice available from 11 AM to 2 PM. Hands down the best NY-style pizza in LA! Papa Vin's talent shines through in every bite, and the whole team makes you feel like family. For restaurants, I always rank "service" below "food" and "atmosphere" but this place rocked my world! After wonderful Grey Tavern next door, it was the perfect opportunity to see why this new pizza place is getting good reviews! Within mins, the genuineness of the family made me feel like I was home. I was told I was loved and gifted off-menu garlic knots and cookies Even after getting take-out, I didn't want to leave. Very sweet watching them craft special bday pizza for a customer who literally teared up. Gosh! Hard not to glow after such a 1st experience! Established in 2020.

Born out of the Covid-19 Pandemic, long time New Jersey Pizzeria Owner Papa Vin started making homemade East Coast style pizza from home for friends in North Hollywood. Word Traveled fast, and Weirdoughs Pizza quickly outgrew their home kitchen. Now Papa Vin & Family operate this small pizzeria Tuesday-Saturday. Take out or dine in. For dine in please note: Each pie is made with love and care by hand from scratch by our singular Pizzaiolo and served piping hot. Trust us, its worth the wait.

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

Our party of three ordered a pastrami melt, a chicken chipotle sandwich, and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger cooked medium. We all got fries. My burger came out well beyond medium and was completely well done. I'm not overly picky about things like that, but the burger itself was just... okay. Honestly, I've had better burgers from some fast food places. The pastrami melt got good reviews from my friend, but the chicken chipotle sandwich was underwhelming. The fries, however, were very good, and the portions were generous. After seeing Wild Carvery all over my social media feeds, I was expecting a lot more. Maybe this was just bad timing, but with dining out being more of a luxury these days and so many consistently great restaurants nearby, it's hard to justify taking another chance that a third visit would be better than the first two.

They were very accommodating and it was fresh and delicious. In New York there's always a cheese pie on the counter. I'm beginning to learn that the LA go to is toppings and more toppings. My brother had a pepperoni which he said was quite generous both in the size and the amount of pepperoni pieces. He was happy. I would recommend this as a place to go if you are a lover of toppings. read more

Phenomenal pizza! Probably the best pizza i have ever had! We got the white pie and it was so tasty! It was packed with flavor of garlic!! They also add chili oil to it and it adds a great kick to it! The crust also had the perfect amount of crisp to it. I'd highly recommend. Owner is also a nice guy read more
