This is a nice place to eat for a quick bite. It's not extravagant by any means, but If you like to see planes take off, it brings out a different vibe to an ordinary meal. The service was on point and polite. The chicken and shrimp rolls were hot. The sauce for the shrimp rolls looks deceiving but it's absolutely delicious. My chicken, was chicken and batter, nothing more, nothing less. Nothing grand about it. But with the "golden" shrimp roll sauce it was elevated a little bit. One aspect I did not enjoy was the amount of grease, but I'm pretty sure they were more concerned with serving me, so this time it's ok. Fries, me being harsh, were nothing worth craving. I ordered the half fried chicken with fries and the shrimp and pork taquitos. The lady was so overwhelmed and in a hurry that I couldn't even ask for sauce. But the chicken was crunchy, a little under seasoned. The taquitos were perfect, crunchy and flavorful. Food tasted a little Americanized and my pad thai was kind of more saucy than usual, but I am willing to bet my impression would be higher had I ordered their famous chicken. The pad thai did hold up well as leftovers without being super oily, however. For $111.72 this was not worth it. We had gone there before and it was never this expensive or stingy on napkins. The restaurant looks like it's tearing apart and some of the items were rusty and super old bowls. We were 6 people. 2 adults and 4 kids. I've been coming here for over ten years. It is not the most "clean" Thai restaurant. However, their Thai fried rice is to die for! I will admit, they are an older establishment that has managed to survive throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, most of the restaurant is self service, has limited parking and not the nicest cashier. I honestly don't like to order food when the rude cashier is there (medium length hair, maybe mid 30's?). The flavors of the food really are worth it! P.S they prefer cash payments, parking can be a bit hard to find and they service alcohol. They also have a lunch special (smaller plates for less $$$) and sum up the price of the plates on a calculator. It appears it's now own and operated by someone else now and turn it into a Thai food restaurant but still selling their popular fried chicken. Now the place is well known for their Thai food. I always order chow mein and vegetarian egg rolls. It taste really good. The portions is big and if you make it to go, they put the food on top of the foil to keep it warm.
