This is my ultimate favorite Wendy's location. I love their fountain drink machine. It's always super carbonated. They have a self help order machine inside, drive thru, and mobile. This works well if you are in a wheelchair like me. Also this location is surround by ton of stores I shop at so therefore it's super convenient! So far I haven't had any problems with their staff nor they have messed up on my mobile order yet. So nice job guys! Hopefully the mgr gets to see this post! read more

I've been here a few times and this Wendy's always provides quick and reliable service! It's a pretty typical fast food restaurant in terms of cleanliness too. As for my drive thru experiences, theres usually a line every time I visit but it's nothing too bad. The line goes by pretty quickly. I've never had a problem with receiving the wrong food as well. When Im feeling the food and want some Wendy's this is the closest to me in the area. I could go to the other location in LA but I feel like the burbank area is the closest to me from where I am. I always come here for their chicken sandwiches and of course their frosty in a cup. I really love their chicken sandwiches and always ask for their honey mustard. Sometimes I do order other things like the strawberry lemonade. Ive also tried their kiosk ordering that they have at the door and it came out pretty fast even though they were busy in drive thru and inside as well. They have a lot of parking all around the place so parking is not really an issue. Its a pretty decent size for seating so thats not an issue as well. But definitely in distance and convenience wise its definitely my go to. Night time drive thru can get pretty packed so be wary that it might take awhile for your order. read more

This review is a reminder to myself to never eat Wendy's again. At least not this location. Went around 10p. The drive thru line had about 10 cars so I parked to go inside because I saw other people in there eating. I wait about 3 minutes and a young girl comes to the counter to tell me how they are closed inside and drive thru only. I asked why the door wasn't locked if they are closed. She said "it's broken". She said the registers were shut down and I had to go to drive thru: ok. Whatever. So I go to the drive thru which is even longer now. 30 minutes later I make it to the order menu. I ordered an Asiago chicken sandwich and medium fries. Paid $9.35 (Wendy's has gotten rather cocky with that price) and received the wrong order. I parked and went back inside because I knew the door was unlocked and I refused to wait in the drive thru again. The cook promptly fixed my food but the sandwich itself was so nasty. The texture of the chicken was like fake rubber meat. The fries were dry and burnt. No salt. Inedible. I basically wasted my time, food, money, gas etc. i was pissed. The only reason I chose Wendy's after not eating it for like 5 years was that I was really hungry and didn't have much to choose from as far as chicken in the area... and made the wrong choice. Pretty standard Wendy's. I actually like this location because it's so cozy on the inside. They're also one of the few Wendy's that have the Coca-Cola freestyle machines. I can't complain about the food. The apple pecan chicken salad is always a safe bet. Also love their chocolate and vanilla frosty. The drive-thru line tends to get a bit long so going inside might be the best option. read more

I am not a Wendy's person by any means. I once got food poisoning many years ago when I was in elementary school and have not been back. However, I recently went for the first time since then with my coworkers since we work super close by. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal with fries and a strawberry lemonade. I was so impressed by the strawberry lemonade! I find it hard to come by a really good lemonade and theirs was delicious! I would go back just to get it! Unfortunately I thought the chicken sandwich was just ok. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't as good as my beloved Chick-fila. My coworkers love the spicy chicken sandwich, but I wasn't sure how spicy that would be so I didn't try it. Their fries are decent, but nothing really stood out to me. Overall, I found my first Wendy's experience in almost 20 years to be just ok - but I am glad I went and didn't get food poisoning this time around! :P read more

By far the BEST Wendy's ever. I would not give 4 stars lightly to a fast food chain. If this was not a Wendy's, but a free-standing restaurant, it would be a five star. Premises are neat as a pin, restrooms pristine, soft drink dispensing machines are right out of this world, and the tables had not a speck of debris on them. Food, I had the new (I think) chicken club with asiago cheese on a special bread that was wonderful. Our order taker (Branden) was so helpful for us to choose the best dinner. Ironically, I ate at a different Wendy's in LA and it was the worst one I had ever been to. I was going to tell them about the Burbank store, but then I said the hell with it, they would not get it in the first place. Although I try to stay away from Fast Food joints...I still have a softness for Wendys in my heart. This particular Wendys had a two lane drive-thru! I dont know how they never mixed up orders. Last time I drove by they made it into a single lane. Everytime I have gone here i have gotten my order really fast whether it be drive-thru or eating inside. The value menu is pretty good and has a wide range of items. I prefer the jr. bacon cheeseburger or chicken sandwhiches. The chili is actually decent as well! I would normally give this place 5 stars because I've had great experiences until tonight . I went through the drive through at about 8:45 and after ordering 4 meals, I ask for 3 ranch , 3 bbq, and 3 sriracha. Not only was the lady in the window rude but she gave me 2 of each when I specifically asked for 3. Had she said they charge extra I wouldn't mind paying but I've never had this issue before. And because of that bad experience I didn't notice that she didn't even have the Lemonades I ordered ready. This was the slowest and worst experience I've ever had. I went back and the " manager " whom I didn't think was the manager just said sorry and have us our old drinks that had melted ice in them and didn't taste as good as usual. I'm never going back. I am a former longtime employee, and I have some "hacks" that I had been waiting to share, so you all can get the most out of your experience here. First, this is the busiest Wendy's on the west coast, and the flagship Wendy's this side of the Mississippi. It is ALWAYS busy here; don't expect anything less. If it is before 8p, you're fine to go through the drive-thru. But if it is after 8p, they disregard the timer and slow down considerably, so you could be looking at wait times of 20 minutes or more. Plan accordingly. Second, if it is raining outside, most people will prefer to not leave their cars, and will all go through drive thru. Therefore, you should suck it up and go inside. It will even out the traffic, and you may even get your food faster. A little water never hurt anybody. Third, they have food (fries/nuggets/tenders) continuously cooking all day, until around 11p. By policy, they have to throw it away if it is not sold within four minutes of coming out of the fryer, which almost never happens, because of how busy it always is. Therefore, don't bother asking for fresh food, especially if there are people behind you in line, as it is always fresh, and you'd just be wasting everybody's time, including yours. And if it happens to not be fresh, it is a fluke. Just politely ask for new food. Fourth, ordering online or through apps is a waste of time. Employees don't get adequate training on those things, and it will slow things down more than if you just went to the store and ordered in person. Fifth, due to how busy it always is here, and due to employee turnover, they often have people in training. Even the most experienced employees get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of traffic, though, and sometimes they make mistakes. Yelling at them or ranting and demanding free food will not make the process any easier on anyone. They can and have called security and the police to eject unruly customers. Just ask for a card with the GM's number, if they can't resolve your issue right there and then, or if anyone is rude or unprofessional with you. Finally, try the cookies. He shrugged. Spoke too fast and not loud enough to hear. Not helpful, certainly not serving the customer, just plowing through the order. I appreciate fast service, but my order was ready in about 15 seconds. Food was mostly warm, but clearly not freshly cooked. Soggy warm fries. Already when i go into a fast food place i give a three star from the start because for one, IT'S FAST FOOD, there is only so much you can expect. From there i give a higher or lower rating on service and quality of the food. I ordered the chili and I was not disappointed unlike other places where you can tell the chili was sitting for a while. It tasted great and I also ordered the fries which were fresh as well. I love the soda machine where you get to mix and match what soda you want. I feel all fast food places should have this. Came here after a late night drive around 12:15, the drive thru staff was cool and I didn't take too long to get my stuff. Since i'm never around one I got alot which is key (frosty, baked potato, baconater, spicy chicken sandwhich, and 12 nuggets). All of it was MOSTLY on point, and for a fast food wendys after midnight i'll take it, even more importantly they gave me a free burger on accident....Thank you! Just terrible. The meat was dry and poorly seasoned. The burger was a mess; sauce running out of the side, lettuce that looked more yellow than green and limp pickles. The fries were gross; soggy and over salted. I usually go for fast food for the speed and low price. Yes they were fast, but how they justify charging $5 for such a pathetic burger is beyond me. For anyone visiting the Empire Center, look into The Hook burger bistro. They're burgers are about the same price as Wendy's and 100x better and save you an emergency trip to the restroom. read more

I have seen the commercials for this place over and over on TV but never tried their food until today! Let's not even talk about the 25 minutes wait for two hamburgers! I guess they were running after the caw to catch it and make the hamburgers. Each hamburgers was about $5 and I was expecting to get a $5 hamburger but what I got was a Chicken sandwich that you can get from McDonald for $1!!! The cashier helping us wasn't the problem, she was very nice, it was the General Manager who was the problem. We were using our EBT card to pay for our food and the magnetic strip wasn't working. We come across this issue from time to time and they simply type the info in for us without any issue; which then allows us to enter our pin and finalizes the order. The GM was extremely rude and wasn't afraid to show us just how annoyed she was. She refused to type in the numbers for us and lied about the machine not having the option too. Little does she know the cashier was cool talking to us before getting the GMs help and told us they don't like us too nor allow us to type it in. So when the GM said the machine doesn't give us the option too type it in we knew she was lying ( even the cashier looked at her like wtf) plus I run 5 restaurant and each of them carry this same exact card machine which I fact allows us to type it in. She made it very clear that customers with EBT aren't her favorite cup of tea and made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. Announcing to the entire line what was happening sucked as e already know we don't have money and have to resort to the EBT help; you didn't have to tell everyone else as well. Also, saying I'll swipe it one more time to try and get it to work but that's it because I'm busy and we have a line is FUCKING RUDE. I AM THW CUSTOMER RIGHT NOW. Just because I'm using an EBT card doesn't make me any less of a customer then those using cash. Elvira was her name and she's the reason I will never ever return as a customer. I never wrote reviews for fast food chains. But this Wendy's is the worst. There's usually a line to the street. But also, Ive had the worst customer service. I've been here twice this week (not proud of it, haha) and it's been the same girl at the drive-thru. Both times they haven't been busy (just a car or 2 before me in line) but she takes forever to ask for my order at the speaker and when she finally comes to the mic it's just "What would you like?" That's it. Alright whatever, it's Wendy's. At the window she barely looks at me and doesn't say anything, i hand her my cash and tell her to give me a second because i have the $0.18.
