Every neighborhood has that breakfast burrito everyone swears by. Bread & Breakfast has definitely earned its spot. We ordered the bacon and carne asada with avocado, expecting a good breakfast burrito. What arrived looked like it had been lifting weights. It's short, stout, and surprisingly hefty. What really stood out was the filling-to-tortilla ratio. Instead of being packed with potatoes, this thing is loaded with bacon, carne asada, eggs, avocado, and cheese. I'd guess well over three-quarters of every bite was protein. The creamy green sauce brought just the right amount of heat without overpowering everything else. Our only mistake was ordering two. One would have been plenty to share for our family of four while trying a couple of other items. This burrito is far more filling than it looks. Now I have an excuse to come back. The basturma (Armenian beef) burrito and the sautéed tomato version are already on my list. Some breakfast burritos rely on size. This one wins because it actually fills that size with the good stuff.

I'll be the first to say that burritos are usually a let down. Sometimes the rice is dry; other times, the rice is overserved in them. The beans can be too wet, the meat can be fatty, the sour cream can give you the runs, the guacamole can be brown, the tortilla can be too chewy, the salsa can be too watered down...you get it. The basturma burrito is top 2, the other being Testal in Phoenix, which is more Northern Mexican-inspired, so they're both in a league of their own. The meat was so tender and seasoned to perfection; every time I ate it, I thought I'd be diving into an overseasoned flavor, but it stayed perfect every time. The eggs were high quality, and the tots were deep-fried to the point where you get the crunch without the burnt taste or dryness. They give you 2 sauces. I had trouble figuring out which one I liked most, but the traditional salsa verde won because the meat is so tender and juicy that opting for the slightly less liquid sauce serves it best. Just overall a gem.

4++!Breakfast spot located in a pretty tight stripmall in Burbank and I think they're mostly known for their breakfast burritos - at least that's what me and a buddy came here for based on what we know. The service is friendly and quick. They have to be because this place could get really busy. When we came in it was pretty packed and the vibe here was a bit frenetic but everyone was cool. Once you order you try to stick around till you get your food. Space could get a bit tight here since the place isn't huge and it seems to be wildly popular, especially on the weekends. I got the basturma breakfast burrito (Armenian air-dried cured NY steak and sautéed tomatoes). It was a little bit pricey, but not surprising because it was packed with ingredients and came with sauces. Overall, I really enjoyed the burrito. We parked about a block away because the parking lot here could get pretty tight.

I think I had the best burrito of my life from this place! We randomly ordered burrito from them on doordash and oh my god, it was phenomenal. So yummy and flavorful. The delivery also took less than 30 mins to Glendale!

One of the best breakfast burritos I've had in a long time. There's a bit of a wait, but that's because they're making your burrito fresh for everyone which I appreciate. You see them hustling in the back. It's located at a pretty decent sized strip mall. There's parking and if for some reason you can't find parking in the lot then there's street parking. There's seating inside and out. We got the carne asada and bacon burrito. AMAZING! It's a fully loaded/heavy burrito. You're getting your money's worth. It comes with a green chili salsa and a cilantro crema salsa which gives it a great earthy balance. I recommend!

Solid breakfast burrito at the price, but I wish it had more meat because it was pretty sparse. Every other bite might have had carne asada. The green cream sauce was the real star. There were more pick ups than people dining in, so although there doesn't seem to be a wait, don't expect it to be quick.

The morning still felt a little rushed when I walked in, which honestly fit the stop perfectly after dropping the kids off at school. I came by Bread and Breakfast for a quick breakfast and ordered the carne asada and bacon breakfast burrito. Overall, it was very delicious and definitely hit the spot. The burrito had good flavor, and the combination of carne asada and bacon made it feel hearty without being too heavy for the morning. My only real note on the food is that I wish the meat had been spread out more evenly through the burrito. A few bites had a lot going on, while others felt a little light, so it would have been even better with a more consistent balance from end to end. Still, the taste was there, and I enjoyed it. Service was fast and very friendly, which made a big difference on a busy morning. That kind of welcome goes a long way when you are trying to grab breakfast and keep moving. I would come back, and my tip for future customers would be to stop in when you need something quick, filling, and flavorful before the day really gets going.

This is a contender for one of the breakfast burritos in LA. The soujouk burrito, to be exact. Soujouk is described as halal Armenian beef chorizo and it has the perfect savoriness to complement the fluffy eggs and crispy tots. They emphasize that the tots are fried in beef tallow but I personally couldn't taste it because it was all melded in the burrito, although maybe as a side, it would've been more obvious. Basturma is the second-best protein option, although slightly more expensive. The best part about this place is that there's parking in the lot and a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. We had a pretty big order and it came out within 20 minutes. It's a fast casual type of place so you can dine in or take it to go - although if you do, I highly recommend having enough salsa. The cilantro crema is a fan favorite for good reason.

    Pastrami Burrito

My husband and I came here for lunch, and I was craving a breakfast burrito, so we decided to try a new spot. I ordered the pastrami breakfast burrito and overall really enjoyed it. The proportions were well balanced, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the tots were crispy and delicious. I was expecting the pastrami to be thicker pieces rather than thin, chopped deli-style meat, but it was still good. The sauces on the side were great, especially the cilantro crema, which really stood out. That said, the burrito was very heavy. We only made it through half of our burritos, and even that kept me full for the rest of the day. It's not at the top of my list, but it was solid, and I'd come back.

I ordered the veggie tacos and was concerned that the price was a lot for tacos but it was so worth it. The quantity was large and it was delicious and filling! The tacos were stuffed which I appreciated. I also asked for no mushrooms and they made sure not to include it. I got the agua fresca too and it was very refreshing. I highly recommend this spot if you are willing to spurgle and treat yourself to a tasty meal.

This place is good! I would certainly advise you to order online and pick up. DoorDash is more expensive than their online website! Parking lot: super small Restaurant : super small Staff: proficient!! I got the bacon burrito crispy bacon, and it was really good! I do like their cilantro sauce, but I feel like there's mayonnaise in it. The proportions are great and the amount of sauce to give you is awesome also.

Had breakfast here this weekend and it was amazing! We caught them right before closing around 2pm on a Sunday, little to no wait and super fast service. We got a bacon and carne asada burrito and bacon and egg sliders. The sliders were AMAZING! They came with a side of tater tots that were perfectly crispy and they house made sauces. Both were absolutely amazing and flavorful! The burrito was also amazing and both items can be shared. Overall this is definitely something worth coming to the area for in opinion, this is definitely one of my fav breakfasts spots in Burbank. Very yummy breakfast and it was pretty affordable for two people. The parking here can get a little crazy on the weekends.

They say burritos are buy one get one free on Uber Eats and then they only give you one. You don't realize until it's delivered. I only ordered here for the breakfast burrito deal and now my friend is without her burrito. Really sucks, guys! Not cool, NOT COOL See my attached photo stating it's buy one get one free.

Like he didnt want to be there taking our order. 15 min past after he took our order and there was no chips and salsa. Not even the alcoholic drinks were brought out. After seeing the boy server staying by the host desk (not checking on us) I had to get up and ask him if he could bring the chips and salsa that comes with the table. He said, " oh, you want some? Do u want guacamole too?" Again reiterating , " whatever comes with the table pls". I was left perplexed given that last i was here i didnt have to ask for the chips and salsa, they automatically came when they brought the water. And if there was a change in policy they should state it somewhere within the restaurant so there is no confusion among guests. The place was 98% empty. There shouldn't have been any reason for such an experience. We ordered probably $180+ worth of food and drinks. And after the long wait for the drinks and chips and salsa, I told the other server and what im assuming is the manager(?) "You know, im just going to cancel my order" They were talking among eachother, and I told them "we are leaving because of the server" . They tried to remedy it by saying that a certain other server can take over the table instead of him. I just couldnt stay there any longer. The place was insanely empty and there shouldnt have been no reason to not be attended to properly. Probably 40 minutes in total and we only received our waters to the table.

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. We finally got there, today, 4pm (on a Saturday) and the food and the staff were excellent. We ordered the Queso fundido for appetizer and as long as you're in the mood for bubbly cheese and chorizo, this is great with chips, but they also give you a choice of flour or corn tortillas with it, as well. For main, we tried the Molcajete, which we haven't had, anywhere, since we lived down in O.C. It turned out to be better than what we had in O.C., from the sauce to the meats and cheese to the peppers. Also, their chicken tortilla soup was good (as a side with the Molcajete) with lots of veggies in it. The staff were wonderful, though.. From the first waiter who allowed us to change from a table to a booth to our waiter, Jose, who was friendly and looked after us (also quick on getting back to us, every time). And a special thanks to Yennie (possibly, spelled with a J', if so, "lo siento") who also helped us and even when *someone* (me) had a party foul with a margarita, she quickly helped out and was super nice about it. The garlic rice and black bean side was really yummy, better than the sides on the zarapes. I ordered it because i needed something different and yes it was. Now there is one problem with this dish and its that they don't use real lobster, its a imitation crab/lobster meat like product shaped differently and made from fish and nowhere on the menu says that which is not ethical business practice. That said it didn't taste bad but its not real. Overall I would comeback, overall the food was good but not groundbreaking. We went in Saturday Valentines night dinner right before 6pm and found parking to be easy and should have taken that as a sign but figured we get better service. NOPE! He sat us finally and then we ordered. Appetizers and a Molcajete and two nonalcoholic drinks. By now 32mins passed. No chips & salsa. No nothing... we should have just left. But we were lazy to leave elsewhere with no reservations on Valentine day. He brought me a drink from the bar like if I ordered it, I hate to say he might have memory issues. Then he noticed we still don't have our drinks and he had to ask again what I ordered. Now 50mins passed and at another 15 mins the main course came before the appetizers were served so I cancelled it. It just seems like they didn't care for anyone else but the people at the bar. Ppl were just walking in and ended up leaving or seating themselves. Majority left and they didn't even notice! Not welcoming at all and as for the food. I feel like everything was previously frozen as the chicken and meat was very chewy-leather like. The cheese was cold. And just grateful that we didn't get sick because it wasn't cooked all the way. When I go into a restaurant, I expect good service and quality food. I unfortunately won't be returning. Such a shame because this place has western character straight out of a saloon and can't speak for the drinks as we didn't even eat our entire meal and wanted to get the hell out. Do better because this could be a cute hangout spot!
