1. Drive thru orders are wrong 99% of the time. Check before leaving! 2. Always ask for your receipt when staff refuses to give it to you. 3. Staff lacks listening and clear communication skills e.g. you order four burgers but when you check the bag you only see three burgers. So you ask for the receipt and staff refuse to provide it. Staff check your bags for the missing burger and redistribute your food among numerous bags to make it look like you get the fourth burger. You ask if your fourth burger is in the bag and staff confirm yes. You check your bags on arriving home and realize you still have three burgers. Then you bring all the food back to the store to figure out what shady shit is going on only to find out that you didn't order the fourth burger, staff knew you wanted four burgers but decided not to tell you that only three burgers were ordered. But staff then claim to comp the frosty that you just paid for. That's not how math or comping food works. Comping food food means the customer gets the item for free in exchange for wasting 20 minutes driving around Camarillo with cold food in search of WTF just happened to that fourth burger. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be "YUCK" What happened to Wendy's?? I walked in this place yesterday with my daughter and her friend, and the place smelled so horrible.....like a toilet. I had a hard time getting food, but the girls were starving. I ordered 2 kids meals. One a cheeseburger and the other a regular hamburger. I said both want ketchup and mustard. Got the hamburger, no mustard. I went up to ask for some mustard on it. They slapped a piece of cheese on in...???? Went back. Had to speak very slowly that I JUST WANTED TO ADD A LITTLE MUSTARD. My daughter wasn't really eating her burger, so she asked me to taste it. I took one bite and it was revolting! Their food is pretty good, as far as fast food goes, this review is 100% about the customer service. They screw up my order about 50% of the time, they routinely have trouble taking my order in the drive through, I have to repeat myself every time. They also don't pick up their phone, with so many other fast food places in town, find something else, it's not worth the stress. read more

Ya, Wendy's is a national fast food chain. That, right off the bat, makes me want to give it a 3 out of 5 stars. But, given their menu of delicious salads, burgers, and even *baked potatoes* (which I'm not sure any other national fast food chain out there offers), I think Wendy's is a half notch higher on the totem pole, relative to her fast food brothers. Bad costumer service! Went through the drive through , ordered a kids meal, my meal and TEO frostys. I get to the window and I'm told there are no kids toys for meal so they're giving a Jr frosty instead. Da hell? Should have told me that before I ordered two frostys! STRIKE ONE. Get to my destination ( the ball park) there were No utensils! WTF is one supposed to eat their frostys with?! STRIKE TWO. Beyond my better judgement I stopped at Wendy's for a frosty. I seriously have not been to Wendy's for probably 20 years. But I was in the area and felt like ice cream. Literally no one in the place except one of the employee's two kids. There were drive through customers. So overall the place was clean, but easy to do with no dine in customers. I stood at the counter with both counter employees there, one was filling orders for drive thru, the other one barking orders to her kids. No words for me for at least 5 minutes. Then it was the drive thru employee to tell me it would be just a minute. After the money exchange no other words were spoken. Stopped by today looking for a good deal for the kiddo & I. Manager said that I couldn't substitute chili for fries on the 4 for $4 deal. I think this violates Wendy's corporate policy but I couldn't find it online. Ended up leaving and having a great experience at the Burger King 3 doors down (kid got a crown). I did have a much better experience at the Wendy's on Ventura in S. Oxnard. They allowed the substitution and had kids meals for $2 in the evening. read more

My mom in law and I were around the area as we just headed out of FedEx and were pretty hungry, so we decided to pick up a bite to eat before heading back to meet up with the rest of the fam. We ordered 4 Asiago Ranch Chicken Sandwich meals (spicy) along with their yummy in the tummy natural Lemonade, 4 piece chicken nugget kids meal for my daughter and a spicy chicken wrap. The gentleman who helped us was very kind and let me know that the wrap would take a couple of minutes and if we wanted to wait or go with a grilled wrap. We decided to wait. For being so patient he gave us 2 free medium Frosty's! High five in the sky for this Wendy's! The sandwiches were really good and my favorite choice when getting a bite to eat at Wendy's! This Wendy's recently messed up the same drive thru order three times. The last time requiring me to drive back to have the order corrected yet again. The poor manager was not even fluent enough in English to understand the issues I had with my order and was unable to refund me part of my money since they charged me for a double burger when I had ordered a single. First, im surprised that this employee was not fired from the start!! I went in there to get some chicken nuggets for my cousin who was getting a little grumpy, just to calm her down. When this RUDE employee told me my total i give him a 20, and when he got my change, he put the money on the counter and tossed it towards me!! My visit here started bad, the person taking my order was rushing me to choose what I wanted me barely getting a word between. Then I approach the window where the "credit card machine" is down. However was told rudely that it was down. Soon as she saw the card "ooooh we only accept cash" when we responded since when "well the machine went down." So I replied with you should tell customers before they order. "Well it just went down. So it's not like a knew when I took your order. Or I would have probably said that." Her demeanor was rude and like she hated her job. No apology for the 10 minutes we waisted in line, no apology for the inconvenience of not getting the food we order because we didn't have cash. The service has been TERRIBLE the past few times I've gone. I love Wendy's, seriously! But every time I go I feel like the employees give attitude, even if it's not a busy lunch rush. Last time I went, it was NOT busy, and I was ordering for me and my sister, and after I had only finished telling her half of the order, she cut me off and told me my total would be given to me at the window before I had even finished ordering. I didn't bother telling her the rest of my order because I was so fed up with all the bad service I seem to experience there. I work in food service too, so I know things can get frustrating in a work environment with fast food. But I absolutely don't think this was acceptable behavior. Let me start this off by saying I thoroughly enjoy Wendy's and I will eat there again in the future, just never again at this location. In all fairness i arriver 5 minutes before they arrived. By the time the car in front of me had ordered it was 2 minutes before they closed. Now, I have worked in fast food so i understand how it is to get a rush before you leave, but that is no excuse to be flat out rude to a paying customer. As I started my order it became clear that the person taking my order was not interested in anything other than getting me out as fast as possible. Halfway through my order they actually turned the lights out on the menu board and even when i told them i couldn't see the board left it off for the remainder of my order. As if that wasn't bad enough the person taking my order would say "okay anything else?" and then when i would continue would interrupt me time and time again about the previous thing i ordered which just showed me she wasnt entering it in the computer as i ordered she was hoping everything that i ordered was the last thing. When i finally got to the window to pay not one single word was said to me not even the total. The cashier handed me my change and shut the window and no one came back until they brought my food out. I asked if they put the sauce in the bag as i had asked for she said yes and shut the window and as i drove off of course there was no sauce. I was so irritated at this point i just drove home. I love Wendy's food for sure but this was the worst experience i have had at any type of restaurant in my entire life hands down. When the problem was brought to the attention of the manager she acted like I was difficult while correcting their mistake. A mistake in service should be corrected with a good attitude.
