I haven't had a Wendy's in years, in n out line was stuiped long, so i drove the extra few blocks. Drive thru took about 15 min. I order a triple cheese combo, the fries tasted like old burned oil, cold snd soggy. The burger was luke warm and tastless. The only item that tasted good was the Coke. Needless to say I will not be back. Its to bad, i grew up on the east coast and remember when Wendy's ment great burgers, fries and frosty's. Those days are long gone.. :( read more

Without a doubt, great selection.....very unique 24 hr fast food selection when you don't want the same old thing....but SLOWEST DRIVE THRU EVER, not an exaggeration! You need the patience of a yoga master to eat here. In 'n Out down the street has a line a block long and goes faster! At some point you can't actually call it fast food anymore. And it's not just a random busy night....every time I have ever come for anything here it's like 15-20 min in the drive thru, minimum, and it's not even all that busy. I feel a little silly reviewing a guilt pleasure fast food chain, but I am moved to do so by the EXCELLENT service with a smile I always receive at this location. In a hurry, and want your order to come out right the first time? Come here. This location runs like a well-oiled machine and the employees literally could not be nicer. There's a large parking lot where you can enjoy your meal in the car (I've never dined inside, so I can't speak to that aspect). JUST left Wendy's and the guy at the register was being very rude and was a complete smart ass. He had asked me what kind of flavor sauces I wanted but in a very low voice and I said Chocolate cause I thought he was asking about the frosty I had ordered and he replied "i said dipping sauces you already told me you wanted a chocolate frosty" and started laughing. And as I was standing there waiting for my order he saw that i was sipping my frosty and said " why don't you grab a spoon instead you're gonna hurt yourself " and proceeded to laugh again. Lets just say my experience at this location inspired me to create a yelp account. Tonight I went here after work to grab a quick crispy chicken sandwich...NEVER AGAIN. I literally waited in the drive thru line for FORTY-SEVEN MINUTES of my life! The whole time I was in line I was preparing my sympathetic heart...assuming that there must be 2 people MAX working here tonight. I figured that there could not possibly be more than 2 employees since the drive thru was moving at a painfully glacial pace. When I made it to the drive thru intercom no one answered to receive my order so revised my initial guess of the number of employees to 1. The same person that was taking the orders must have also been taking payments, cooking the food, and packing it for the customers. It HAD to be a one person show. When I arrived at the last window I was astonished to see that the place was bustling with employees...I mean that place was FULLY staffed!! Three of the employees were just hanging out at the drive through window. I still have NO idea what took sooo long. You would think that they were making every customer's order in a crock pot. In conclusion, if you want a quick bite to eat, this location is NOT for you. This is not a good restaurant. Bad customer service. I ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, fries and nuggets with sauce. The correct items were listed on the receipt. I was given a burger instead of the chicken sandwich and no sauce for the nuggets. The chicken sandwich was for a friend that does not eat red meat as i explained to customer service via email. After a few difficult exchanges through email with customer service they agreed to replace the meal free of charge. They told me to see the manager and he would be informed about it. When i went to the location i talked to the mgr Dante. He started cross examining me about what happened and if i do not eat meat why did i order a burger and i explained that the chicken sandwich was not for me. He continued to scrutinize me and then showed me he had the email from customer service on his phone. i don't what point he was trying to make but i just wanted the replacement meal promised to me. He finally agreed to give me a refund after giving me a hard time. He received the email from customer service and could have easily given me the meal but chose to try and get in an argument with me. I will never go back to this location since they seem to have a problem filling a simple order and do not care about the customer. read more

This is the closest Wendy's to my house and of course in traffic, it can easily take me 20 minutes to get here but sometimes I just need a burger and a Frosty! Lol! My food is good every time I come. My only complaint is at night, the drive-thru could be long and sloooowww. On a Friday night, I was in the drive thru for 20 minutes before. I dined in on the inside this week and it was pretty clean but there were a couple of flies inside, that was annoying. There is also a security guard randomly walking around and watching people eat. I find it to be a little creepy. I never been in a Wendy's with a security guard before so maybe he is there because kids are frequently in the area? I don't know. read more

in my 24 years i've never found reason to step foot inside a wendy's, especially in the past few years, as i found The Way in college & The Way is called flexitarianism (i.e., half-assed vegetarianism). but it was late last night. the boy & i were fungry & desperate (flashback to spoons & chopsticks, except this time we were in culver city). we were tired of in-n-out. we passed by wendy's & visions of those commercials featuring their fish burgers danced in my head. so we decided to give it a shot. scanned the menu several times. no fish burger. asked the tired girl behind the counter. promotion over. grrrrr! i'd been through way too much that night to get back in the car & drive over to in-n-out for a grilled cheese sammie so i promised myself a week of veg-no-seafood & begrudgingly ordered their grilled chicken sandwich. the boy went with a cheeseburger (those square patties really creep me out) & we each got a baked potato. i'd like to say you get what you paid for, but we would've paid for less & gotten more/better if we had gone for the alternative fast food establishment; cheap/fast food doesn't *have* to be unsatisfying. the meat in both of our orders was dry. i had a big piece of watery iceberg lettuce in mine. & our baked potatoes were covered in what resembled tiny green confetti trying to pass themselves off as chives. wendy's, please come through next time & prove that you're not just another craptastic state in the fast food nation. read more

I can at least get a salad and a blueberry pineapple green tea But today was the icing on the cake when the security guard literally was sitting there talking to me about my car until I had to roll the window up and tell him goodbye Told me that I need to be in a Mercedes and that will buy my car from me... This Wendys is simply horrible. Whenever I order a burger or sandwich from there, it is ALWAYS cold. I literally live 5 minutes from the restaurant so it doesn't have long way to travel to get home. I give them the benefit of a doubt, so I will come back and give them another try, but the burger is always cold. I love wendys but the cheapskate owners needs to hire more workers. Every time I go here the drive line is 15 to 20 minutes long. Tonight it was out onto the street. I witnessed several cars drive away because the line was too long. The owner of this wendys is too stupid to realize he is leaving money on the table by not hiring more employees. It wasn't my first time here. Wendy's is comfort food for me. And I've had marginally bad experiences at this franchise before. But I was tired and hungry... and it was late... so I pulled in one night and had the worst drive through experience of my life. Let's face it. The food at any Wendy's will taste about the same as at any other Wendy's. So you don't always go to Wendy's for the food as much as you go for the convenience and service. And my review here is about incredibly poor service specifically at the Culver City Venice Blvd. Wendy's restaurant. On a weeknight, after a workout, I was stuck in their drive through line for more than TWENTY FIVE very long minutes. That's not an exaggeration! 25 minutes! And there was no way of escaping...there were cars in front of me and cars behind me and, given the way it is constructed, there is absolutely no way to leave once you are in the drive-through line. I was trapped. And it gets worse. It was nighttime and there were homeless people coming up to all of our car windows and asking for money. It was extremely uncomfortable. Two of the cars in the unmoving line resorted to honking their horns in an attempt to get the line moving and/or chase away the panhandlers. But honking did absolutely no good. I thought about calling the police. I sat there, frustration growing, and listened to the lady in front of me complain about how long she'd been waiting and how unsafe she felt. Someone I believe to be the manager just patronized her. She then asked for free food as compensation for her time. She didn't get anything. She was clearly very angry. Even though there was nowhere for me to go, I was done. There was no way I was going to eat anything served by such a clearly incompetent cast of characters employed at this Wendy's Restaurant. (I wish I had read some of these other reviews prior to my visit.) When my turn to order came, a genuinely amused and happy young voice came on the intercom and asked me what they could do for me. I simply said, "What can you do for me? You can let me out of this line!" But it would still be several minutes before the cars in front of me were served their food and I could leave. Who runs this place??? I will never give this Wendy's any of my money under any circumstance ever again. In 'n Out is just down the street. I hope you go there. McDonald's is a little further down Venice. Or go to another Wendy's if you must. But, for efficiency's sake and maybe even for your own personal safety, I hope you stay far away from this extremely unprofessional and poorly run Wendy's franchise. This Wendy's has to be the worst. They let homeless people sleep inside. I bought chilli and when I got to work I opened it and the chilli was so cold the cheese wasnt even melted. Everytime I come here it's either on my break or before work and the same lady is always there talking with security while I'm waiting to order. After placing my order she asks my name and I tell her, she never calls my name only my food order. She is a Hispanic lady and my name is Latin so I don't see what the problem is. I love Wendy's, and this Wendy's has been the go-to one in my area, but lately they're really slacking at this particular location. Everyone in front of me had something wrong with their orders. So when I got mine, surprise! Things were wrong. They made it for here when I ordered it to go, which they quickly corrected, and forgot my drink which they also corrected. But when I get home I realize there's (I shit you not) a tangle of hair in my chicken nuggets and neither of the two sauces I asked for! We went to the Wendy's in LA, on Venice Blvd, and decided to eat in because we wanted to try it as fresh as possible to keep quality taste. The service was always fast and friendly as I expect from a Wendy's. We were very hungry so we ordered Pretzel Burger Meal - The single not double (I wanted the double personally) 2 JR Bacon Cheeseburger 2 Spicy Chicken Nuggets As you can see from my pictures the burger doesn't quite look like the picture the advertise. It no where near as fluffy and amazing looking which is ok, I mean, lets be honest, when does the food usually look like their picture. I used to always joke with my mom when I was a kid and say that it looks like a sumo wrestler sat on my burgers. We got the JR Bacon, because, it is very close to the same thing as the pretzel just different bread and less veggies. All in All, I give the pretzel burger a 3 stars. The price for what you got I thought was a little bit high when you can get a JR Bacon for $1. I felt like the bread was good and went well with the meat but the patty was just kinda small for me. I felt like it was the same size as the JR Bacon. I personally would like to try the pretzel on a chicken sandwhich considering I think wendy's has some of the best chicken in fast food. Like I said overall for the Pretzel its just not worth the 6$ price tag. Unfortunately won't be returning to this particular location. The amount of activity gave the impression that it was quite busy and I sometimes equate busy with fresher, hotter food because of the high turnover. After utilizing the drive thru to purchase our food we were disappointed to discover that it wasn't even warm. My hamburger bun was still cold in one corner and the fries weren't even lukewarm. I will make sure to check my food before leaving the vicinity next time but I will not go back to this Wendy's. read more

One of two closer (read: less horrendously out of the way then other locales) Wendy's in the UCLA area. This one is close to the freeway exit. It's a typical Wendy's, really, which means they have a formidable dollar menu, slightly sweet bread (better than it sounds) and late hours. Chicken nuggets... if you get a fresh batch, they're crispy, juicy, piping hot hunks of chicken and if not, they're still good and cheap. The fries at Wendy's are one of their weak points, unfortunately; if you're REALLY craving fries, go across the street to the In and Out if it's not busy. Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers and Double Stacks are well worth the money. If you order a potato, make sure you get the chili with it as well. Alone, they're edible if flawed, but eat them at the same time and they become great and cover each others' weaknesses. read more

Honestly I haven't had any issues with the food at this location but something is seriously wrong with the water & drinks. Yesterday I got a starwberry iced tea that was litterally the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted, so bad that I got immediately ill shortly after drinking it. Thinking that this may have been a fluke or possibly an unknown allergy I went back this morning and order breakfast with a water. The water tasted like it was poured through a rusted metal pipe and again made me sick, I rinsed out the cup and put water from the faucet in my work building to again be sure that it wasn't something else, water was fine and I have been using the cup all day. There is something seriously wrong with the water and drinks being served from this location. For this reason I am affraid to go back there, sorry Wendy's gonna have to go somewhere else. read more
