Haven't eaten at a Wendy's in years (the square beef patties, supposedly fresh versus frozen, never seemed any more juicy than the meat at the other fast food joints), but one was located next to the dealership my car was being serviced at, so I went in for lunch while waiting. Had the grilled chicken sandwich 4.99 with medium fries 2.39 (no soda - just water). In case you're wondering - I wondered - the combo with the soda for 7.99 includes small fries so it's not a better deal than buying the fries separately. The fries were fine as was the sandwich. I visited this Wendy's location and used their drive-thru. I am really impressed by their prices! We ordered enough food to easily feed 5-6 people and our total came out to just a little over $30! We tried a wide range of their offerings (as we are new to Wendy's) including some of their burgers, chili, and side dishes. My favorite was their junior bacon cheeseburger and the chili -- YUMMY. We also ordered their new Pub Burger -- didn't live up to our expectations -- but still a very solid burger choice, as well. Lastly, the staff seemed to be taking COVID precautions seriously, which I appreciated. read more

This Wendy's gets an A in my book all around. Even when this place is crowded; the workers at the counter get the food out in record time. The value meal selections are the most competitive & fulling than any other fast-food burger chain, for sure. To be more specific, the 4 for $4 option includes everything but a dessert. A drink, fries, 4 nuggets, & a sandwich or a wrap; for $4! C'mon now. The food items here, are especially fresh and tasty. Even the preparation is different; as the beef is fresh, never frozen. The chicken nuggets are also made with real white meat, not soy. Also; who could forget the classic Frostee; or namesake chili. This place brings back decades of memories for people, including me. Sadly, there are very few in the LA area. The competition for coffee must be especially fierce because most Wendy's only serve it in the early AM hours, at best. Sad because their brew is especially fresh & flavorful, rich and smooth. Just like the rest of their menu items, the breakfast & other rotating seasonal items, including fresh-brewed teas, are consistently high-quality. I order three meals from this restaurant about two days ago, I was visiting my brother in LA. Had it delivered, the meals were nasty, and plus I got ice cream instead of drinks. I waited 30 minutes for a chili and drink because they seemingly forgot about my order. I mentioned my mobile order as soon as I went in but needed to remind them 30 minutes later to actually have it made, which only took like 2 minutes. I probably shouldn't have given them the benefit of the doubt by assuming they were just that busy, since other customers after me already received their orders and my order was laughably simple. Also, this place consistently allows aggressive customers to cut in front, with no form of apology issued to the customers behind. I understand not wanting to confront aggressive customers, but a simple apology would suffice. Basic human decency has never been something that required payment, so being paid minimum wage really isn't a great excuse, especially when the nearby McDonald's and In N Out are much more friendly, accurate , and efficient. This is easily the least efficient and least customer-oriented fast food place in the area despite having less customers overall. I can't believe this, but I'd honestly recommend going to the McDonald's nearby instead of this Wendy's. I prefer the food at Wendy's over McDonald's, but not enough to put up with the experience here. read more

This is the only decent Wendy's location in for those who aren't living east of downtown LA (SGV). The food comes out quick and fresh, and it's consistently good. This restaurant is hard to get to when coming from the west, but there's plenty of parking spaces. There's also no wi-fi at this location. Don't expect too much when it comes to friendliness or sense of safeness here, but Wendy's is a great chain and nothing will stop me from patronizing my favorite fast food restaurant chain. First & Foremost This Review is for MANAGEMENT!! Staff is always friendly & try their best to accommodate! But yesterday evening I had Literally the worst experience EVER with a Manager who's Job responsibilities (LETS NOT FORGET why you are there) are to ensure the customer is happy & have had a maximized experience! So at around 6:05 pm on 2/23/23 I walked over to Wendy's on Venice Blvd (next to Honda)to grab some quick grub in between work, when I arrived I placed a order for a 2 for $6 meal which was a spicy chkn sandwich & a 10 price spicy nuggets...the wait was minimal & I was in & out. so i walk back in the rain to work only to find out they gave me a cheeseburger(with all the toppings) & nuggets....So i then walked back to see about my replacement sandwich! They identified the mistake & even sent me away with a free drink & a small fry for the inconvenience (which mind you was put in this old reused paper bag covered in oil but w/e) ....I then get back to work ALL TO FIND they gave me a Dead (old) spicy chicken patty & the same bun with Ketchup,pickles,onions,tomatoes & lettuce!!!! Now at this point it's 6:18pm (mind you my break was only 30 mins) so I of course walk back in the rainnnnn -_- to show the employee who initially rang me up what was wrong! He immediately calls over a manager!! And Now it all goes down hill from here.....A Rude, presumptuous unprofessional, Young girl with Glasses & Terrible Outgrown Yellow highlights comes up the front, With no hey, hello,what's going on?!?, I'm sorry, or anything, but to have the audacity to open up the sandwich & tell me in a argumentative manner that there's nothing wrong with the sandwich, I then asked her "do you know what comes on a spicy chicken sandwich" she looks me up & down & says yes!! I then opened up the sandwich with my fingers to show her there's condiments on the bun that doesn't belong! And it looks like the same bun from the cheeseburger they gave me earlier in the soiled bag & asked her "so this is how y'all make these sandwiches now!! She rolls her eyes & starts to ask what I want done! I said at this point I want my money back! She unapologetically looks up my order in the system & proceed to give me a refund with still no apology or any sincere emotion or actions! but Then ask me to sign something! I informed her "I will not be signing anything for you! Because how dare you sit here in my face treating me as if I've done something wrong when all I wanted was a quick snack on my break & now I've wasted almost 20 mins going back & forth to this establishment"! She then responds combative with "how did u waste your break on us when, I'm sure they only took 5 mins to make this" AT THIS POINT I lost it!!!!!! I told her the situation & explained to her that a apology would go a long way!! & that you don't argue with a customer that has a problem with a mistake that your staff did!! Very misleading 24hr location. I usually come here after 2am and the drive thru is never operational. Theres vehicles parked in the lot and have seen employees in the establishment that are working I guess, but no one answering the drive thru window microphone. When I do orders from postmates, it shows that it's open 24hrs, but the notifications always come back to me saying its closed. So why say it's open 24hrs, but no one is working the location??! read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I came here on August 5, at 3:00 pm. I'm standing in line for my turn and when it was my turn, I put the order in, and I told the cashier my wife needs to use the rest room and she calls the manager. The manager told me that BOTH restrooms are out of order (since this morning). I relay the bad news to my wife and as I turn the corner, an employee comes out of the ladies' room. My wife calls out to her that she needs to use it, the employee didn't even stop and let's the door slam behind her. I make a final plea, staying we just saw an employee leave. No help given to us. I stopped in this Wendy's late at night on a Sunday because nothing else close by was open. All I wanted was a value meal and a four piece nuggets. Had I known I would pay triple the price for virtually nothing I wanted I would have just starved. Immediately upon pulling up to the drive-thru speaker I was informed by the employee that they were completely out of nuggets. They also informed me they were completely out of FRIES too! That's the same thing as staring at a menu screen for burgers and then they tell you they're out of burgers!! Seriously, WTF?! This essentially reduces every value meal on the screen to nothing more than a meaningless picture that advertises something that's not currently in stock. The customer is then left with a choice of waiting in a long line behind cars just to leave without anything or order something at al a carte pricing instead of a value meal deal. So in all I only got to order the burger I wanted, I got NO fries or nuggets, and I paid a whopping $14 for a burger, medium drink, and $2 crispy chicken sandwich. Screw this place! If you're a 24 hour establishment and can't keep fries in your building then close your doors til you can! At least fix your pricing so your customers don't have to pay extra for your f-up!!!! I should have paid way less for what I got and was completely unimpressed by the way the management handled the situation. If this place is fine with gauging their customers when they run out of product to sell then that's one establishment I will be proud to say I never dined at again. read more

The food is consistently fresh and tasty, plus the staff members are friendly and helpful. The prices are decent and they send out coupons so it's fun to try new items at better prices (or even free sometimes!). They also donate to adoption causes, which shows their corporation cares more than most. read more

Childhood nostalgia, convenience, economy, variety, cleanliness, and friendliness (all components checked for a potentially stellar fast food dining experience) all come to a crashing halt when each and every food item in the entire order is served up stone cold. While many grease laden, salty, fatty foods are still tasty and delicious cold (think Pizza! IMHO), Wendy's burgers, fries, chili, potatoes, and chicken sandwiches do not hold muster when unheated. In attempting to correct themselves for the cold food, they did manage to serve me a warm and thusly watery Frosty. Perhaps this day was opposite day! A few hours after eating the Pretzel Bread burger, I came down with a really bad stomach bug. I've been running to the toilet around 12 times a day and feeling nauseous ever since. This happened 4 days ago and I'm still not better. Hopefully the meds I got from urgent care will kick in soon though. I didn't even want to eat here in the first place because they seem to charge more than other Wendys. Instead of having a 4 for 4 like the one on La Tijera, they have a 4 for 5. I've been coming to this Wendy's for over 10 years. I don't remember any problems. It is in a busy location, so sometimes the drive-through can take a while. Not tonight though - smooth sailing. I love the spicy chicken sandwich at Wendy's. However, tonight the ad at the drive-through for the new Pretzel Pub Chicken sandwich caught my eye. I love pretzel bread. I thought their pretzel bread bun was fine but not as good as pretzel bread I get at local bakeries. I enjoyed the sandwich. I have no complaints but I think now that I've tried it I will go back to my spicy chicken fav. The fries were fine. The medium Coke seemed large to me. read more
