I was unaware that there was a Wendy's location here. No idea that this existed, but now I do for sure. And with that I will probably avoid this location in the future. I had my nephew with me and we were both feeling the hunger sneak up on us. We wanted to get something and I left him pick. I knew it was going to be fast food and when he said Wendy's, I was like, OK, I'm down with that. What I can say about this location is that it is basically the newest location I have been in. It has that industrial feel and with all the new updates the were heading towards. Even with a new location, and updated look, that didn't help on the employee front. When we walked in, it was odd when we approached the counter. No one was there and it was like the person throwing the burgers together had to remind someone to attend to the counter. There was an employee cleaning the tables that I guess was supposed to be manning the counter. If there was a three way race between the tortoise, hare, and this employee, this employee would still be striving to reach the finish line ten years down the road. I have seen flat affects and heard monotoned speech, but this employee was the epitome of robotic. I had to repeat my order several times. With each repetition of the order I would have hoped that it would have been correct when we received it. We basically had to ask for our cups to get our drinks. The drink machines were basically out of everything. Which was surprising since there was no one in the restaurant. The sloth of the employee continuing their stake to clean the tables ended up ignoring someone running in for a pick up order. Our food was finally ready. It was not right. But we rolled with it. Especially since it took forever for us to get this far. My nephew wanted to get something to go and I dissuaded him because of the wait we had already. read more

The food was amazing. When I say amazing, I mean amazing. When I got inside this Wendy's, the service of these people were amazing that I gave them a $10 extra tip because of how kind the workers were. The ambiance, view, and atmosphere was pretty nice. read more

A Wendy's is generally a Wendy's. You know what you're going to get food-wise. This one is no different. What's exceptional is that the employees sound like they are part of a prison chain gang instead of a food crew. While they are neutral to the customers, when talking back and forth it's dismaying: "Where are those f***ing fries?" "How the f*** should I know? That s**t isn't my problem." "Well I just f***ed up this motherf****er's order." ..and so on. A mother with a small child stormed out the last time I was there. Review for Wendy's at 5000 Buckeystown Pike Frederick Md - Stopped for lunch on Saturday October 25,2025, went through the drive through. Init we thought they were closed because the lot and drive through were empty. Order 2 meals totaling 23.09 ( #1 meals), the first single burger I requested just ketchup and cheese, the second burger was a regular single. I requested 2 ranch dips. Pulled over to check bag and It was missing the ranch dips, sent my son in to get the dip, they refused because we didn't purchase nuggets, and didn't pay extra for the 2 dips. I just paid almost $25 for 2 meals, one of which didn't have the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles or mayo on ( we did not get a credit for the lack of toppings). The manger gave me about 20 ketchup packets in place of the ranch dips. It would have been cheaper to give me the 2 dips, we didn't want the ketchup. I also asked for the supervisors number, which the manager did not want to give me, she instead offered the 2 ranch dips at that point. Which I said no thank you! The number she provided no one answered and you can leave a message the mailbox is full. Wendys sales have been down, so I'm assuming they're trying to save money. We usually go to chick-fil-A, who provides their customers ranch dip upon request, regardless of what meal is ordered, plus they do it with a smile and are so courteous. Had a problem with an employee that would randomly walk away from the first drive up window when I pulled up. That seems to be done. After that I haven't had any more issues really other than some employees barely speak or greet customers. Sometimes when I get food it is sloppy. read more

Unprofessional group of people that are working at this Wendy's. At 5000 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick MD. I ordered my food at the drive-through and was told to drive to the first window where the cashier later identified from the repeat known as ( KENDRA ). Ms. Kendra never greeted me as I pulled up to the window, so I tried to say hello to her as she look at me and closed the drive-thru window. So as Ms. Kendra came back to give me my card. I said I hope you have a great day. And she Replies with a statement Sir I am not in the mood and closes the window. So I proceeded to drive to the 2nd window to get my food there was a young woman that handed my food to me. But before I pulled off I ask if I could get any Mustered and she replied with an attitude saying damn and walking away. So is this we're our society is going when employees in a Wendy's restaurant is being so rude and disrespectful. I believe Corporate need to evaluate or investigate the employee of miss conduct. read more

We went to order dinner there and they wouldn't/couldn't honor a coupon. My husband was understanding and went ahead and ordered his carryout meal. He ordered 12 nuggets, a large fry, and a large frosty. The total came to $13 and some change. We got home to find that they did not give us the second 6 piece nugget that we were charged for. I called a total of 8 times to see how we could rectify this situation and not one single person answered the phone. I find this to be very unprofessional all around. Food is better. Fries were old AGAIN!! Hot and fresh one visit ... hard, stale and old the next. I've managed a Wendy's. This isn't a challenge... twice frying is done for a reason. I was hopeful for this store. Unless I specify NO SALT on my order everything is old. Nothing is made fresh. Every chicken sandwich I've gotten is Old!! Stop over cooking qty just to make it quicker later. It's a waste of food. The pressure fryer takes 4 mins. Seriously... WTF!! This is a new store. Where are the standards. I've grilled, fried and frostied at the million dollar stores and this lack of attention is Laziness... Your window staff at the 1st window who is the first contact was absolutely horrible. She's got the personality of a wet sock. I tried to say thank you and hi ... SHE SAID ABSOLUTELY NOT ONE WORD! Gave me a dirty look and closed the window in my face. Why would you tolerate that. If people don't want the job then take it from them. Why are standards only high at Chick-fil-A for staff. Some days they may slack there but it's definitely more consistent. Are we do desperately in need of staff that crappy employees are acceptable. If they can't do the job get rid of them. Why do I have to suffer as a customer for their crappy life. I have enough issues of my own. If you hate your job... QUIT or find a bathroom to clean. Be grateful you're employeed but without customers no company needs you. You're not irreplaceable ...every company survives without you as a crappy employee but with you it sinks. This place will be just another poorly run restaurant that has a 30% chance of longevity if it can't do what's right. Stop giving out crappy food and worthless service. Key yo everyone... ask for NO SALT and they'll make it fresh. Maybe they'll learn to stop loading the grill and overcooking food (storing chicken in the bins makes them steam and soggy) because they can't handle actually doing their job - Wendy's is made to order. The food is sub par. I ordered the typical Dave's single, fries and soda. The burger meat was dry, fries were cold and the soda carbonation was flat. I prefer Wendy's to the other burger fast food but I will drive by before I spend another $20 at this place. Such a disappointment. I arrived at the drive through, it was moderately busy I wait in line to get to the intercom to say my order. One order comes out my mouth and I get immediately cut off and he says "is that it?" And I say no I 2 more things. Then it's silence for 10 seconds. And then he tells me, my total and to pull forward. Staff always upset and slow. Door was locked on the weekend, yet no sign up to say dinning was closed due to short staff. From the time I parked, tried go in, and then get thru drive thru, 20 minutes. They did not return my credit card to me before giving my order at the drive thru. That is way things are always done at every place. Had to go back later to get it. Yes, I should have asked for it, but the chaos caused me to not realize it. Card should have been given to before or with the food. The management need to be fired for short staff and bad training. read more

I've given this place several tries. New facility, bright, well lit location but it's failed every time on quality, and on service. I just went through the drive through, gave an order for a chicken Asiago ranch club combo with a substitution of a sour cream and chive baked potato instead of fries. Price on the board was $10.59 for this combo, the order taker quoted me a price of $14+. When I got to the window I asked her why, and someone else (maybe her supervisor) very aggressively said, "You want to know why it's $14? I'll tell you why it's $14!...". He looked at the computer, then faded to background, after which the order taker said, you wanted a 10-pc nuggets with that didn't you? I said no, all I asked for was sandwich, a potato and a coke. She reduces my bill to $11.01, hands over food, no receipt. When I got home I discovered an entirely wrong order- a chicken sandwich so hot with chili heat that I couldn't eat it and a cold baked potato covered with rubber cheese and bacon - also inedible. I have now officially given up on this store. I do not recommend it. It drags the brand down low. Low. read more

This place is the same every time I come they cut you off from ordering like Im not done yet sir and the person at the first window never says hello, your total nothing they just have their had out . Wendy's was the only "fast food" I would eat and I was very excited to see a new one go up right near me! The spicy chicken sandwich used to be my favorite, but now you can tell it's pre-made and staged to be thrown in a bag as opposed to assembled fresh.
