The manager, they said her name is Lily, completely rude and disrespectful. She has a nasty attitude with poor communication. She fails to show any form of training or self control in the customer service industry and should be looked into as this store continues to have negative reviews. It's a disgrace to be treated this terrible when placing a simple order. Her attitude, tone and volume when speaking is completely disrespectful and I will be sending a review and complaint to corporate. I hope nobody ever has to come in counter with this type of service anywhere. On top of terrible service, it was completely unsanitary as she scratched her head (hair) and after handling money proceeded to handle food directly without washing or sanitizing. Our family went to this Wendy 2 days in a road for NEW $8 JBC Meal Deal. Two Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers, a Medium Fry, a Medium Soft Drink which is a good feed for my kids after school. They have a phone number, which you cannot reach anybody on. Which means you have to drive to ask a question. It's a waste of gas especially if your question does not give you the answer you were looking for. As well as other Wendy's chains. You cannot reach a wendy's by phone. This is the only Wendy's that will give you a burger without the top bun. Which means I should of been able to pay less for my burger because I'm the bun was atleast .50. read more

You remember the good old days when Wendy's used to advertise their "hot & juicy" old-fashioned hamburgers? Yes well, I didn't get served one of those here. This is the Wendy's Hamburger restaurant in the Chevron ExtraMile store on 98th Ave, between the I-880 freeway and the airport. Decades ago, the City of Oakland beautified the part of Oakland between the airport and the freeway. This would make visitors/tourists feel safe and welcome. But make no mistake, you're in East Oakland. On a Thursday night, around 9pm, I stopped for some gas and decided to try the "crispy" fries at Wendy's. The dining room was closed, so I went thru the drive-thru (DT). It wasn't too busy, with only a few cars in the drive-thru line. I ordered a Dave's Double Cheeseburger and a medium fries. How was the food? The fries were as advertised, crispy and hot. A little too salty, so Grade (4/5). The Dave's Double Cheeseburger was a joke. Grade(1/5). Nothing like what I had when I ordered it at the Wendy's in Cordelia, CA (near Fairfield). The burger I got served in Oakland barely had any dressings or condiments. One slice of tomato, one lettuce leaf, two onion rings, pickles, and dry meat patties. Service, Grade (3/5): Prompt order taking, and I got my food fairly quick. No ketchup for fries. They charge extra $$$ for sauces. Overall, a 2-star experience, and I'm never coming back. read more

I was Rolling thru the Hood!!! When I Spotted this Wendy's. So I rolled my Whip to the Parking lot and parked!!! I rolled in to Wendy's like a Boss and Ordered a Biggie Bag!!!! A Biggie Bag consists of a Double Stack Bacon Cheese Burger, French Fries, 4 Chicken Nuggets and a Small Soda. 10 minutes later I had my food.. And I got my Grub on. 3/27/23 This was #DriveThru so I can't comment on the insides. But one thing I love about Wendy's is typically their burgers are ULTRA juicy, at least at the locations I used to frequent. Unfortunately my burger here was fine, but it wasn't as juicy as others, and the fries pretty much sucked--even fresh they were soggy. I'm fresh off a cruise. Came here to get some food and my bank card declined. I asked if I can do half and half Ximena told me yes,could I please come inside so I'm not holding up the drive thru. The one of the gentleman asked if he could help me I told him I just came out the drive-through and he started to speak Spanish and they all started laughing made me feel very uncomfortable, but he think I don't know what he said! Be careful speaking in Spanish in front of people you think don't understand that language! Ximena was very polite and helpful!! I had cash on me so I came inside and I pay cash for my food. The guys working the morning of 10/16/24 were amazing. When I showed up before breakfast ended and asked for an item off menu, Wilfred offered to make a lunch menu item if I didn't mind waiting, even when he could've said "No". So running around knocking errands off after work and started to get hAngry. I didn't want to stop anywhere as traffic time was approaching. I haven't had fast food in a while, and always thought Wendy's was one of the better fast food options from my youth. So I hit the drive-thru. So this is one of those fast food shops that's attached to a gas station mini-mart. So parking ain't the greatest and even the drive-thru is tricky to spot. So I eventually find it and approach the order speaker. I was really thinking a burger, as I probably haven't had a Wendy's version in over a decade. I was thinking on getting my current/older self's perspective on it. But then I saw a pic of the Fried Chicken Sandwich and that looked pretty good too, and don't think I've ever had it. And even though probably not by much, I also figured it would be a lighter meal than a burger. At least that's what my sensible voice told me. I get to the speaker pretty quick as only one car was in front of me. I succumbed to the Chicken Sandwich. Pull up to the pay window, pay, and since I only got one measly sandwich, a small bag was handed to me, literally within 45 seconds of paying. SWEET. I drive off and was going to eat super quick at my next stop which was literally down the street. Eagerly open the bag to see a nice plump sandwich wrapped in foil paper...not smushed I might add. SWEET. Unwrap the thing and it was a Dave's Double Burger. I only ordered one thing, with only 1 car ahead of me, and they still got it wrong. LOL. Either the people here cannot read, or has attention issues or possibly both. I can see leaving out one item, or getting the sizing wrong. But a whole different sandwich, whole different meat, COME ON BRUH. But there is a bright side to all this. The damn burger was pretty damn good...for fast food that is. Wendy's burger meat, outside of In & Out is the tastiest to me. It is beefy, somewhat seasoned and very natural compared to Mc D's, Jack, BK. Truss Me. All the veggies were fresh and cool. Bun was appropriate and not smooshed nor soggy. Pretty damn impressed. My younger self was on to something, as my older self approved of it's original opinion. *pats self on back* So thanks Wendy's for royally screwing up my order, yet giving me what I originally wanted. Please avoid this Wendy's they will try to steal your debit cards. My partner went to this location today around 11:45 AM for some lunch. The drive thru worker was a Hispanic lady and she had a nasty attitude problem. She did not give him his debit card back after paying for the order. We tried calling the restaurant many times to see if they have his card, but they aren't answering the phone. Now have to order a new one and wait for it in the mail for a week. Please take young lady margarita off of the drive-through window. I noticed she snatch the money of the driver in front of me hand. And I was wondering why he was backing up I guess he was having choice words for her. When I drove up she snatch the money out of my hand which was so unacceptable. Then she tossed my food at me me. Located in a lot with gas station & star bucks. Parking is super limited. Like 4 spaces +1 handicap. Then its the gas station and starbucks parking. They also have like 6-8 parkings on the side i'm guessing shared between all 3 facilities. But for the most part almost no parking. Anytime I visit this location, I always go to the drive through. It was my first time trying Wendy's and it wasn't too bad! My friend was dropping me off at the airport and decided to get this for a quick dinner before my flight. I got their six piece chicken nuggets for $1.79 with sweet and sour sauce. I definitely felt that their chicken nuggets were meatier than other chicken nuggets I've had at other fast food restaurants. It was also pretty tender and tasted great. The batter they used to coat the chicken nuggets were also thinner compared to other chicken nuggets I've had at other restaurants. I did find it on the slightly more expensive side compared to other fast food restaurants, but I was generally satisfied with the food. The service was okay. The cashier wasn't really friendly but she wasn't rude either. It was pretty clean inside and there was plenty of seating. read more

Terrible attitude from Margarita & Antoinette. I have been a customer for 8 years, never again. Margarita tried passing me a cup of soda, with spilt coke all tge around cup. I asked her politely to wipe it off first, she continued to extend the dripping cup toward my car. I refused, ahe slammed cup on the counter, and walked off. She retuerned and rudely demanded the cost of meal. I told her ahe should sat $4.61 please, she rolled her eyes at me. With the amount of people who are unemployed (apparently there was a ridiculous turnout just for menial jobs at Six Flags), it would be beneficial for those who work in the service industry: a) speak and understand English, and b) not be a bitch. After aging what felt like 6 years for Southwest to spit out my friend's baggage (and 3 laps around OAK for me), I needed gas and she was hungry. I put in my $10, and told her we could go through the drive-thru. All she wanted was a Sprite and some chicken nuggets, which was apparently in line with brain surgery for the person handling the order. The benefit of a screen where you can see your order is that I can call you out if you mess up. And how hard is it to mess up Sprite and chicken nuggets? No fries. I speak clearly and succinctly, and you chose not to hear me. Either fix your earpiece, or be nicer when you realize you're wrong. I can't wait for the day when we can use touch screens to order food at these establishments. If you're really hungry after a flight, by all means, stop here...but realize that your order may not come out as expected. read more
