The food here is amazing! I go here for their pork and eggplant noodles and tomato egg noodles often. The noodles have a wonderful chewy bouncy texture, mixed with an umami bomb of different sauces. I also recommend trying their cucumber salad (my personal favorite) and potato for appetizers. The service is great and they truly make you feel at home. 20 out 10 stars!!! read more

We ordered the braised pork rib noodle soup and traditional beef sirloin noodle soup. The soup was felt clean and pretty light. Noodles were solid. The bok choy was too hard though and not cooked soft enough, and the meat was stringy and dry (both pork rib and traditional beef sirloin). Overall was a bit disappointed given the great reviews. Spicy Cold noodles are life! I'm a lover of Asian food so when Huangcheng was recommended to me via Yelp, I knew I had to head down. Started off with the gyoza and it was delicious! I happily washed that down with a Tsingtao beer! So perfect for lunch time! Of course I had to try the cold noodles. Perfectly spicy and of course, cold! So great. A healthy portion too! Super delicious, a little nutty and everything I want in a cold noodle. I can't forget that our server was a literal robot which was fun to see and experience. Very nice lunch at Huangcheng! The soup was really good and loved the noodles. Photo may look a little plain because I ordered without green onion. We were there on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty. Service was unsure if we had to go up to them and order because it took awhile for them to come out to us so I went in and we stood in the middle while I gave the order and paid in that same moment after declining ordering anything else. You can tell the noodles are homemade which is nice but they are a bit dense and filling. I liked the Chongqing noodle as they really got the numbing spicy down. Popped in to Huangcheng for dinner. The restaurant was empty besides one other table, probably because it was a weeknight. We ordered the Chongqing street noodle and seafood stir fried noodle. The stir fried noodle was great - noodles had bouncy texture, seasoning and flavor were strong, and the dish came out piping hot. We didn't love the Chongqing street noodle as much - it was pretty watery/soupy, and we felt that flavor was lacking. That being said, you can tell the noodles here are homemade/made from scratch. Huangcheng has a ton of interior and patio seating. Service was fast and friendly. Heads up they ask you to pay immediately after ordering, and our food was brought to us via a table robot. read more

They are super friendly and the food is great! I usually come here when I'm craving ribs and it's my goto item here. I've tried other items but the ribs are "deelish". They cook the food upfront so you can see the preparation which is a great touch. My only gripe is there aren't enough ribs/meat for $25 & there is more bones than meat. I love the little bit of meat that is on these bones which is why I still purchase it. I do believe more can be given at this price for such little reward though and that's why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. I ordered a spicy seafood noodle dish, but the seafood was undercooked and was nowhere near spicy. While I was there, there were only a handful of customers, making an order mix-up unlikely. Would rate this 4.5 stars if possible!! This place was so delicious & it definitely hits the spot in this cold cold weather. The chili/spice level was manageable and delicious. The noodles were a good texture and the sides were delicious and I loved how refreshing the celery and green onions were in the beef and pig ears. They have a stamp card reward system; if you buy 10 bowls of noodles you get one free! I would dock half a star just because for some reason it smelled like ant bait and I couldn't put my finger on it. I've been here four times already and obviously you can tell my favorite dish is. I can't get enough of the Chonging Street noodle. It's literally something about the broth and the flavor combination mixed with the homemade noodles that hits the spot every time. Their potstickers are really good and I've tried the other meals from friends who have came with me, but to be honest anytime I go there I have to get the Chonging street noodle. Even though it's spicy, I always add a little extra spice to give me the kick I need. Try everything when you go, but don't forget to get the street noodle. You won't regret it. I came here with a coworker and ordered the beef sirloin noodle soup, braised pork noodle soup and pork potstickers. We both thought to soups were just okay. The noodles were fresh and tasty, but the broth and meats were pretty bland. The potstickers were good, but I wish they were fried a little longer. The only condiments on the table were chili oil and vinegar. The service was fast and the workers were friendly. When we dined in we sat and ordered, and then paid and tipped before eating. So that was different. I would be willing to try some other dishes one more time, but there are other solid Chinese restaurants in the area that it may be difficult to justify going back. read more

Located in Swans market. They only have a few options to choose from, pork or shrimp dumplings pretty much. I dont eat pork so I got the shrimp dumplings. They was decent and I enjoyed them. I decided to try this joint out since it is close to the hotel I was staying in. I also decided to try a not recommended dish to see what they could do. Pork and Green chili was my general go to dish and wanted to tey their version. It was good, but the flavor was more oil than actual black bean sauce(?). It also came out slower than I expected, but this could just be because their version is defferent than what I am used to. The service was pretty standard and seating is picnic table style. This place is a little gem of a spot with the sweetest ladies running it. We were a bit worried at first because it was rather devoid of customers. I usually like to judge based on how many locals I see in a place. Well, our worries were unfounded once the food started arriving. By a cool little robot I might add. The robot was super cute and the music it plays lets you know that your food is on the way. We had the ribs and pot stickers appetizers and they rocked. We had the street noodles, sirloin and noodles, and I had the spicy cold noodles with peanuts (vegetarian). After our first bites we all admitted that we were more than pleasantly surprised. Given the fact that I probably saved them some money on the meat, they could afford to add more than just two pieces of bok choy. D11 was more heavy flavors and spice, while D22 was still flavored well but more refreshing. They were both really good and were the best noodles that I've had in a while/in the area. I ordered online to go and the system was easy with a text for the number and pickup estimate.
