Not nary a napkin in the bag.... however the staff on the microphone and in the windows were nice and friendly. Attitude-free service as the spot closes in 5 minutes and the drive thru line erupts with last minute patrons trying to order. A lot of fast food spots get funky around closing time but not tonight. I don't eat a lot of fast food, but I have been to this location a couple of times now and both times the burgers were inedible. They were completely dried out, black around the edges and of course the order was wrong both times. I do not recommend this location. The first time I called to complain and was comped (even the comped meal sucked), but this time I've decided to write a review and just cut my losses. Never, ever again will I go to this location. Don't come here unless you have 20-25min to wait to order and receive your food. That is not including time to eat. Most people just give up and drive off. Real time account: I've been in the drive thru for a full 10 min with only 3 cars ahead of me and I have yet to place my order. Two cars behind me have given up and drove off. Drive thru lady tells me she's the only one working and will be right with me. At 13 min I just placed my order. Had to tell her twice cuz she isn't paying attention. She can't give me a total. The car behind me just drove off. At 19 minutes another car just drove off. I'm at the window but no one has given me a total or produced my food. At 20 minutes another car drives off. At 21 minutes she charges me the wrong total for the wrong order. She then retakes my entire order and gives me the total. At 22 minutes she leaves the window to deal with an angry customer in the lobby. I can hear her telling them the same thing she told me. At 24 minutes yet another car drives off. At 25 minutes I was given my food without a receipt. Pretty slick of them. Don't give a receipt so no one can call corporate and complain. FYI the corporate number is 1-888-624-8140. Please call them!!! Even though each restaurant is individually owned and operated they are NOT without rules policies, procedures and expectations. Please hold these lousy business owners accountable for the pathetic business they conduct. Somehow this place makes the DMV across the street feel like a 5 star hotel. The bar for fast food chains is already very low in Raytown but Wendy's might win the award for worst customer service. On more than one occasion, getting someone to respond to you in the drive thru window could take up to 10min. The workers try to get you out of the line by any means possible. Here's how my last encounter went: Me: I'll take a 4 for $4 Worker: is that all? Pull forward. Me: I haven't said what I wanted yet Worker: (talking to co worker for 2min) pull forward! Me: ohhhhk. (Pulls forward and she hands me a bag of mystery food) Me: I haven't said my order yet. Worker: (grabs bag back) what do you want?! Me: (orders and waits 5min for the most common order on the menu) My coke was flat, they forgot the fries and dipping sauce. This entire review was written while waiting in line. I can't stop criticizing this place...because its horrible....in every way possible....no matter when you go there. My previous reviews recalled all the crazy fist fights and 911 calls that I witnessed inside of this place. Be prepared to wait a super long time for your food whether its dine-in or drive-thru. Totally screwed the order then the black lady on the window taking orders yelled at me lol never going back to this one

I just called corporate about this location. I recently started working close to their location an have been there three times, with 5-7-2019 being the latest. On the first trip there about twp weeks ago I went inside, big mistake!! Being conservative as I'm a former restaurant owner. Bathroom filthy, no paper towels or soap Out of ketchup, lid off container, mess all over. Out of small packets Straws all over counter and all over the floor Ice out in one fountain All Dr. Pepper out in other Tables all dirty, had to clean one off myself No receipt delay in food, a long time for only three people there On the good side, food was good Next trip, place stilll dirty, tables not cleaned, no receipt Yesterday at drive through, waited in line almost a half hour, 12 minutes at the order screen. Got lunch today and went inside to order because the drive thru line was so long. The gal taking our order told us they were out of salads and forks! She then took my friends order and left the register to go text someone (only 1 person working registers). She then completely filled my friends larger order and then asked me what I wanted so my friends food was already getting cold by the time I got my food. I got the asiago chicken sandwich which was dry, overcooked and the toppings were slopped on it - what a mess! No idea how this location continues to stay in business! read more

Wow, been waiting for over 15 min for my families meals. Just two kids meals and two burger meals. I'm not one to write a ton of reviews but figured I'd make positive use of my time while waiting. Even the other customers were surprised at how long it was taking for orders to be completed. This certainly does not classify as "fast food". At least the kitchen staff are having fun and singing. Went in tonight and asked for a Bacon Cheddar burger. With only bacon and cheese, ended up with other things I don't even know what is on it. This Wendy's has very poor customer service. When you walk in.The people at the register don't acknowledge you. The young lady was having problems logging in on her register but didn't say one moment sir ,will be with you in a minute or anything. I was only trying to buy a cup of chili but they had sold out of chili at 11:54 AM. Had to wait at the 15 minutes for them to make chili. I have complained to the corporate office in the past about this location but it does no good. This Wendy's features a convenient corner location, with a nice reflecting pool (pothole) in the parking lot. Cold, soggy fries, filthy drive-through window, and long wait are what you have to look forward to in your exciting visit to the Raytown Wendy's. The on and off flashing of the red "Wendy's" sign was a nice touch. It kind of gave the place as Las Vegas feel. I truly was gambling with my digestive health. This Wendy's is the absolute worst! Don't ever go to the drive thru here unless you want to wait 45 minutes for the WRONG food! They are constantly out of something! Half the time when they are out of something they don't tell you they just make the food without one of the ingredients and then give it to you anyway hoping you won't notice. I ordered three chicken sandwich meals and when asking for ketchup for my fries they asked how many I said I don't know four or five... that's for three meals... and they charged me for the sauce!!! I had none in my bag and your telling me you don't provide me with any ketchup though my meal comes with fries???? This doesn't seem right... I get if I'm asking for excessive amount of sauce or a sauce that isn't expected with my meal... but come on... what next charging me for the napkins... seems to me you should have an expectation to provide ur customers with a limit and beyond that yes I agree charge but if you aren't charging online when ordering and place ketchup why charge at the window... I spent 25 dollars and ur telling me you can't provide me with 5 ketchup free of charge for three meals... ridiculous!!! Think about his next time you go asking for sauce... there was about 7 cars in the drive through I waited about 15 min... that's 28 cars on average an hour which is about 224 cars in an 8 hour period... if each car is charged on average a dollar per transaction that isn't being put into the kiosk because I didn't get a receipt for my transaction.... then your window attendant could be pocketing over 200 dollars a night! 101417 I will never forget waiting 32 minuets for one son of a baconator in the drive through. It came to $4.97 and she asked me "do you want your change?". Why does Wendy's ask if I want my change, are they stealing the extra cash? When I finally reached the window and they handed me the sack, there was no receipt. I waited another ten minutes for the receipt for the cash. Were they planning to not ring it up and keep the cash? Is that why they asked if I wanted my change so the drawer would not be short? Sounds very likely this restaurant is being stolen from by the employees. I called the corporate number on back of receipt and no one was available to explain my claim. I left my number. Drive thru wait is the longest I've ever seen at a fast food restaurant. 20-30 minute wait times. Order a large frosty and it's 2"-3" from being full. When confronted about it the cashier wants to argue. Orders are almost always wrong and their soda is almost always out. I've had to go into the store several times to get a fresh drink. Just today a plain cheeseburger came with everything on it and my salad came without any dressing. Management should be fired. read more

Once I realized this, I drove back to get my card and I saw that there were two other transactions from Wendy's for $1 and $6 after I had already left. I went back in to tell them and the manager (a woman) started getting an attitude and denied it. I left because I knew it wasn't even worth it and I wasn't going to be getting my money back. On Feb 1, 2019 went to our local Wendy's in Raytown Missouri, approximately 8:30 p.m... Went inside to lobby to order, I first asked for a Cesar Chicken Salad, " Do we have salads" ?? Yes...ok good..then I asked for a baked potato, " Do we have baked potato's ?" No... Are you kidding me, every time well 8 out of 10 times they don't have baked potato's... Is there a limit on how many you can fix daily or what ? So mad they don't have baked potato's and don't offer to fix any we leave. We go to the Wendy's 40 Hwy & Blue Ridge... go to walk up to the door and there is a chair in the door so you can't open it...so the other side doesn't have a chair walk around open door only for the employee to yell at us " We are not open in the lobby" What ? Are you kidding me... Wendy's district manager should be on top of these issues.. They should not run out of potato's at 8:30 and they should not be allowed to lock up a lobby at 8:30 either.. If you want to get the $1.99 kids meal after 4pm you have to say it while ordering. It's not given to you automatically. The manager reluctantly gave refunds to several customers because of this. I kinda feel that is cheating people. The service was slow. The place was not clean. Cashiers don't know anything and the manager didn't seem to want to help them or give the the knowledge to do their job.
