Went after work only because I wanted something quick (bad, I know) and some spicy chicken nuggets. Got a 1/2-lb. Double combo and some spicy chicken nuggets. They weren't necessarily backed up, but the cashier was very flustered. The customer before me was offered a free Frosty for waiting for her food for so long. Understaffed? Maybe, but whatever. Got my food. Wendy's just isn't how it used to taste when I was growing up. Burger is dry and lacks something. Perhaps they hide this by adding huge pieces of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Best part were probably the fries that were just cooked. Nuggets have been sitting out as well. It's fast food, so I can't really be overly snobbish. I also took a look around the dining area and the average weight was probably 220 pounds...in a bad way. That made me realize that maybe what I was eating was very bad. read more

local fast food place that my daughter likes that doesn't seem as hard on my body as the other local fast food places so I'll take that as a positive. Last few times here we've been going with the $4 for 4 items which feeds us both and includes a jr bacon cheeseburger or chicken sandwich plus 4 piece nuggets, fries and a drink. Not a bad deal and I get my burger and my daughter gets her chicken nuggets. happy family. A nice new clean Wendy's since it's in 92127 which itself is nice, new and clean - well at least in the 4S Ranch area. Staff was decent but not overly friendly. Dining room was clean most of the time - but late in the evenings it can get dirty. Has fancy Wide-screen TVs in the dining room that show some kind of Wendy's network feed promoting CBS programming as well as the date, time, weather, and sports. A nice diversion I suppose. It's Wendys. The burgers were decent. The fries sucked. The drink machine was so loud it sounded like it was going to explode and the sewer outside the front door was spewing out some serious gas. Overall, it got the job done. Hell, it's pretty much the only fast food in 4S so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. read more

I come here mainly for dessert. It's waaaay cheaper than Baskin Robbins up the way. Frosty Float and I ask for it with Coke Zero (you can only get it inside as they don't have Coke Zero at the Drive-thru window). I definitely prefer the toys they give with the Kid's Meals here than McDonald's. Books, family games, puzzles.. instead of toys that end up all over my floor. My brother went inside the Wendy's to recorrect his burger. My dad ordered on the app and clearly stated in the note portion that he wanted a PLAIN hamburger. Which is basically just the patty and bread. My brother came back in the car looking annoyed and told us that one of the workers named Jennifer was less than kind to him. This Wendy's has yummy food normally kind workers however, this experience wasn't very good. Wendy's normally messes up my brother's burger whether or not my dad orders it on the app or in person. I like their burgers. Square is fair, doesn't affect the taste. It's alright as far as burgers go. The salad I had from this place...eh! I don't really care for. The nuggets are decent as my boy will attest to. Fries are OK. The establishment looks pretty nice. but ofcourse things usually do when they're fairly new. The drive thru service was pretty quick. WOW! When I ordered the guacamole cheeseburger, they did not even place A N Y guacamole. Please make sure to check your food before driving home. In the past I have never really liked eating here but I had one bad experience at one Wendy's awhile ago and I attributed that to all of the Wendy's assuming they were all the same. This is one of the cleanest and best ran Wendy's in the whole chain. Doesn't hurt that the national HQ is down the street. Quality of the food is decently good and the restaurant is clean considering the amount of traffic that this restaurant sees. read more

EMPLOYEES WITHOUT MASKS....BEWARE! I went to the window to gather my food and noticed the woman making my drinks had neither a face mask or gloves. I then looked and saw the woman (THE GENERAL MANAGER I was told) at the front register ALSO did not have a face mask. This is the first time I have gone to a restaurant since this whole pandemic started and had my face mask on, in respect, for all those around me. The man, Iliad, took my credit card and offered to remake my drinks. He had a mask and gloves and was nice...found out he was a manager. This doesn't really change my overall opinion of wendy's since I still mainly go for the spicy chicken sandwich, but I am so not thrilled with the change in fries. I know all these chain restaurants are trying to compete to have "natural cut fries" but I don't like the skins on my fries! One of the things I was really happy about at Wendy's was that each fry looked exactly the same. They try to make it seem all healthy with their "sea salt natural cut fries" but the truth is they now go crazy with the salt. They should probably chill out a little with the salt and if someone really likes salt that much, they can happily pour salt until they have a heart attack. read more
