To the Owner of this franchise: I am giving Zero stars for the manager on duty that at first told me to come back in an hour for a bucket of chili. So I did, I came back an hour later; when I got there chili was not ready and was told that it would take awhile. I said why did you tell me an hour then? She said "we didn't put the chili in on time when you left". I feel this is a huge negligence of this manager to have delayed cooking the chili? Since I complained that this was my 2nd trip to your restaurant and was dissatisfied then another staff member said to me "that I was making a big deal out of nothing and to go somewhere else!" I have to say that some of the previous errors that I noticed at this Wendy's have been rectified. The NFC payments work flawlessly at the self order kiosks and they have napkins available again in the dispensers by the ketchup dispensers and straws and lids, etc. Service is also a little bit better than last time since I ordered my go to Biggie Bag. You never have to worry about us eating here again... EVER! First of all, about 3 weeks ago, I called a little after 11pm and asked them what time they closed b/c I was craving a coke float. They said they closed at midnight. I know they break ice cream machines down early, so I specifically told them what I wanted to order and asked if the machine was still up and running. They informed me it was and said to head on over b/c I told them we were less than 5 minutes away (if that, depending on traffic). My husband headed out the door and he called me from there to inform me they had already broken the machine down. I overheard the conversation he was having with the guy and the guy told my husband he had told me the machine was already down and to not come. LIE LIE LIE! I was soooo annoyed! Yesterday, we stopped by for a quick lunch because we had an appointment to get to. During lunch hour, they had exactly one person (moving as slow as Christmas) at the cash register taking orders and we stood in line for 30 minutes just waiting to order. Once we got to the counter, we only spotted 2 employees in the back working to fill orders. My husband ordered 2 burgers and he said they were both very cold. My burger (different type) was barely room temperature, it was not in the least bit hot. The fries were burned, hard, and they also were room temperature. Ick! I couldn't even eat the fries because they were so hard. Hubby did eat them, but he wasn't pleased with them. Remeber Mikey from the old Life Cereal commercials? Yea, that's pretty much my husband, he'll eat anything. Trying to find a table was also a challenge. No, let me put it another way, there were plenty of tables available... trying to find a clean table was a challenge. So I found the cleanest one available and then wiped it down myself. Not one time while we were there did we see anyone come out into the dining area to clean anything. It was extremely disgusting. I can only wonder what the kitchen must look like. Absolutely, definitely will never return and I'll also be giving the manager a call to complain. With the ecomony the way it is now, Fast Food isn't even cheap. This location is not very consistent. Some experiences are good but many of them are downright bad. They will mess up your order and they do so frequently, especially the late night shift. They have no respect for themselves, the quality of the product they create, the accuracy of their orders or pretty much anything at all. I honestly don't know where the issue lies between making a sandwich and putting it in the correct bag, but they often fail. Let me start this by saying I am quite the fan of Wendy's food, their burgers in particular. Heck, I once ordered a sextuple burger there (6 meat patties, not actual sex on a burger, that would just be weird) and it was every bit as good as I imagined, even if I did have to unhinge my jaw a bit. Suffice it to say, I generally trust Wendy's and their menu creating decisions, so with great trust and faith in my heart I ordered the new spicy fish Sriracha sandwich. It sounded near impossible to pull off, but I trusted Wendy's, I like fish, and I love Sriracha, what could possibly go wrong? A lot. A lot could go fucking wrong. Hedging my bets, I also ordered a triple, because beef. I arrived home and unwrapped the fish sandwich in question, it looked... mildly promising. The fish itself didn't look greasy or unappealing, and the cheese... wait, why the hell was there cheese on fish? Being brave, foolish, large, and hungry I took my first bite and I was not disappointed; I was horrified. The first thing that hit my taste-buds was the cheese, I don't know what kind of cheese it was supposed to be but I can tell you what it tasted like: Elmer's glue. The cheese and soggy bun combined into one wet disgusting mass that tasted like Elmer's glue and felt like old paper-mache in my mouth. It was horrifying, I was worried that perhaps I had taken a large dose of PCP earlier and I had just bitten into a bag of refuse from a vet's office I found in an alleyway, but looking down it was still just a simple sandwich. Undaunted, I took another bite. I thought "maybe I bit into it incorrectly", "maybe that part of the bread had been touched by the devil", or "maybe one of the flies from the Amityville Horror flew into my mouth on that bite". I was incorrect, as every single bite was worse than its predecessor. I did notice however that there was something in there worth salvaging: the combination of crispy fried fish and Sriracha was really good. Had the bun been replaced with a wrap of some sort, and the cheese been thrown into the trash where it belonged, this could have been a really decent item, as it stood however, it was a complete assault to my sense of taste. I couldn't finish it. I literally could not finish it. I ate half, and put the rest in the fridge in hopes that my roommate would be sad/desperate/foolish enough to eat it; he was not. The man who has eaten crayons, grass, dirt, a penny, a banana peel, and a raw potato, could not stomach this sandwich. I ate my triple to cleanse my palette and wondered what the hell the people at Wendy's were thinking when they approved this atrocity. Final grade? 3/10 Good idea, TERRIBLE execution. But, depending on the time you come to this Wendy's location it will mostly be packed due to Full Sail students (the school a few feet away) will have a ton of students eating here for lunch (sometimes even for dinner). One thing they need to work on is their sauces - if you are specifically asked what sauce with your nuggets, you expect them to put it in your bag. It's a simple Wendy's but I have visited this location multiple times due to the proximity of my house. Both the food and the service is terrible at this particular location. The drive thru always moves at an unbearable rate and the food is always sub par. The fries are almost always soggy and/or over cooked. We decided to pull into the drive thru here to pick up food for the drive home. I placed an order for a spicy chicken combo and considering the time of day, the person working was very friendly. When I got to the window to pay, they asked if I would want to substitute my order with a chicken sandwich of their choosing (that was available) because it would take 5 minutes to fry a spicy chicken breast. This has to be one of the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. I've visited this particular Wendy's many times, as it's close by and they are open late. But the last ten times I've written down their the times it went well, and went they messed up my meal. The last 10 times I ordered the same thing, a medium Baconator combo (Without cheese), with a vanilla frosty. Pretty simple request, right? But 8/10 times, they managed to mess it up: All times, they gave me a Baconator WITH cheese, 2 times they even added extra cheese, most of the times, the Frosty was more a milkshake than a Frosty, and several times it was really greesy to the point where it no longer met the qualifications of "fast food" as I had to use a fork and knife, not to get my hands filthy with their mayo, ketchup and cheese all over the bun. 9/10 of the times were late night orders. Due to my hours. The one order I made during the daytime was fine, but whoever works at the night-shift at this Wendy's really needs to be replaced. I usually like Wendy's, and this place is definitely not representative of their general service, but this place is just particularly awful, i highly recommend driving a little bit further for a much better service. I'm not sure I've ever seen a worse establishment in my entire life. First off, you're lucky if they even get around to taking your order. Most of the employees yell to one another and completely ignore customers standing in line. When do they get around to taking your order, you're lucky enough if they even pay attention to you. I went to order a baked potato, chili, and a coke. Before I was even done ordering, the cashier turned their back to me to laugh at something their buddy said in the back and joined into the conversation. That all happened while I was in the middle of ordering mind you. I knew what I wanted too, I wasn't standing there staring at the menu with a blank look on my face, I was in the middle of speaking when this happened. After they finally do manage to get your order, you'll have enough time to go outside and smoke a cigarette before your order is actually ready. The place isn't even busy since no one goes there to eat. Please, save yourself. Go to the Taco Bell or McDonalds which are within walking distance of this place. The food here isn't necessarily bad but it's definitely the worst in the area. My biggest annoyance is the girl they often have in the drive through window. She has the worst attitude I've ever seen out of any fast food restaurant I've been in. No smile or any sort of friendliness at all. After reading all the reviews on here I'm surprised she hasn't been fired. Her attitude is so off-putting and the food is so mediocre that you'd be better off going to any other Wendy's, I won't be be back to this one. If there was an option to rate this place zero stars I would have done it. Service is bad and slow. The food is terrible and the place constantly smells like someone clean the floors with dog crap. If it wasn't so cheap and close to my school I would have never gone to this place a second time. But I often feel I should give a place at least a second try before I can give an objective review.
