    Cobb salad
    Julianne G.

Deli in the Vons plaza near Batter Up at Fowler and Herndon area. Friendly service. They have chowder bowls, soup of the day, salads and sandwiches made with yummy crisp hot sourdough rolls. My husband ordered the dry salami and turkey sandwich with clam chowder, and I got the Cobb salad. He said his sandwich was great with the roll being the best sourdough roll in the area for him. I ordered the Cobb salad, and it had plenty of chicken, blue cheese, avocado, bacon and egg. Unfortunately, I didn't like either of the dressings I picked, the jalapeño ranch or the Greek. I would try either an Italian or just oil and vinegar if I go again. I ordered a large salad but couldn't finish it. I would get the small if I go again. The clam chowder was fresh and you could tell it wasn't just out of a can. Better yet, I will try a sandwich next time since my husband raved about his. You also get warm bread with your salad order. My husband also tried a cookie, which was very good as well. Inside was clean and modern looking . Definitely will be back to try a sandwich.

    Clam chowder bread bowls =Amazing!!

I'm so glad this deli/restaurant came into Clovis!! I've been here numerous times and every time my food is hot, tasty and perfect portions. Today I got the spring special Greek grilled chicken sandwich, I added on the soup & drink to make it a meal! Of course I got clam chowder- amazing as always!! I usually get the garlic turkey pesto sandwich, I've had the French dip as well- ALL great options. The customer service is so good, friendly and professional!! I absolutely love how this restaurant is decorated, it is so stylish, the artwork is really cool. I really like the wood and metal accents. Today I ate outside on the patio, it's nice they have a couple tables on the patio to enjoy great weather & temps. I highly recommend this place, everything is so fresh, the bread is freshly made and perfectly crispy, dunk it into the soup... Mmmmmm

I've been trying to find a really good pastrami sandwich to replace my favorite from Gino's (which sadly closed). I think I finally found a close match!! The sandwich was so delicious. The meat was nice and lean. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

9/19/23 Getting lunch! Ordered via Yelp. Super easy! Veggie sandwich with turkey meat added. Added other ingredients like jalapeños. I went to pick it up. Very nice restaurant. Music playing! Clean and safe. Greeted and let worker know. Only waited a minute and it was ready! Lunchtime! Sandwich split. My half was really Great! Fresh veggies, bread and peppers with pepper jack added a nice spice! Really delicious! Fresh pickle half with it too! Mother said her half was Great and that it tasted really fresh! Good service and great sandwich! Highly recommended!

Came in for lunch and it was my first time there. I didn't get a chance to look at the menu before hand but the cashier was very helpful. I couldn't make up my mind, as usual, but he let me know which sandwich was most popular. Apparently it's the French dip! I love a good French dip. You can get different combos like with chips and a drink, Mac n cheese and a drink, salad and a drink or soup and a drink. I love soup so I was interested in that combo. Their daily soup is clam chowder and their Friday soup is chicken and poblano chile. He gave me a sample of the chicken and poblano and yes, I had to have a cup! It was so delicious. I ordered a 6 inch sub and with the soup and soda it was sort of pricey. Like $18 for a lunch combo! Next time I'll have a coupon haha! And I say next time because I'll be back for sure. The sandwich was so good and the bread was great! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice chew. I loved it! The restaurant was clean and the staff was careful to wear gloves when handling food. Everyone was friendly and my order was ready quick.

The sandwiches tasted good as any sandwich nothing special about their taste. the service was nice for a morning they had good energy in the place. Now the prices for the sizes of sandwiches are over priced.

Hot pastrami on sourdough was delicious. Hot and flavorful. A step above other chain sandwich shops. The bread was fresh and wonderful.

The bar staff was incredibly friendly--someone came up to us right away, introduced themselves, and ran through all the offerings for the evening, including happy hour (which we lucked into!). One thing I really appreciated about sitting at the bar was the setup. The seats aren't crammed together, so we had plenty of space. There are hooks underneath for bags and jackets, and even outlets if you need to charge your phone. The bar also has multiple TVs showing different sports, which added to the fun, lively vibe. We ordered off the happy hour menu and were honestly blown away. I got an Old Fashioned, and they even offer a whole burger and fries on happy hour, which is amazing. We also shared the nachos. Everything tasted great, and the drinks were excellent--I ended up ordering another cocktail, the Spa Day Margarita, and loved it just as much as the first one. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot on, and the staff stayed attentive the whole time without hovering. It was a really easy, enjoyable dinner that didn't break the bank. We'll definitely be back!

I've been to the other location and knew a good night was in store, parking was a snap and upon entering was seated immediately. I chose to sit indoors and was escorted to a table by a window. Service was prompt and courteous and with a clearly defined menu we ordered drinks quickly along with an appetizer (see picture) I do appreciate having a little time to navigate the menu and look for specials. The waitress was considerate and knowledgeable of the menu (I could tell you some stories) with a humorous spirit we ordered and enjoyed our drinks and bites until we were served with our order. I ordered my hamburger medium and it was perfect! I also chose to have onion rings with is not a regular thing for me, some aren't crispy enough, this was the case tonight but good nonetheless. All and all a good experience for sure and the price wasn't a deal breaker for my next visit, give it a try and see if you agree.

I went by there today and was picking up food near Qwench Juice Bar and my girlfriend wanted to get a smoothie while waiting for our order to be picked up. We walked up to the door and couldn't tell if the place was open or closed. The time was 7:03pm. There are no business hours posted on window or door. Just a LED sign that lights up OPEN, but that was off. A worker came out to grab a sign to put back inside the business. I asked him what are the business hours and he gave me a look of I should have known the hours of open and close. He did tell me the hours nicely but failed to offer any service, for example, maybe say "we just closed but if you want to get something, we can do that before we clean up." I know customer service has gone away from going the extra mile for customers. I did say to the worker maybe you should post the hours on the window or door so potential customers that are looking for something to snack on can know when you are closed. I've been seeing quite a few businesses with no business hours posted on the doors or windows. Not everyone uses the internet and social media to find information. Old fashion foot traffic is still a thing.

Well she is amazing and just talking to her in this short time that I was there you can definitely hear her love for food and our community. Her and her husband put a lot of time into this restaurant to make sure the quality is perfect at every bite in everything they cook. What helps this pizza taste great is the style of their brick oven. It's the only way to have a really good pizza cooked. I hear they just opened up another location off of Fowler and Ashlan and the atmosphere, music and customers are really good. I had ordered or made my own style of pizza, and let me tell you right out of the gate that crust omg was so crispy, cooked perfectly and tasted just perfect. Their pizza sauce is home made and let me say hands down one of the best sauces I've had in a long time. I will be back to try more off the menu but I'm sure it will hit a home run for our community. We headed in at an odd time yesterday around 230pm. It was late for lunch and too early for dinner. Nevertheless, we were seated in the front dining area, and ordered some entrees. The menu offers a lot of familiar favorites that you would expect to see at a a bar/ restaurant. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a few specialty plates. For my meal, I ordered The Local burger (no pickles of course) which was absolutely fantastic. Piled high with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes - this burger was executed to perfection. I ordered it medium, and it came out medium (imagine that). The best part was the sunny side egg that was placed on top. That first bite was heavenly. The yolk breaks, and all the goodness adds a little extra flavor to the already delicious burger. The shoe string fries were seasoned perfectly- I highly recommend this entree. The only thing I would add next time is an element of spice to take things up to another level. My wife ordered the BLTA sandwich , with sweet potato fries. I didn't try a bite because I had enough bacon on my burger , but I did sneak a sweet potato fry , and it was fantastic. My son order the chimichurri steak , he seemed to enjoy it although it may have had too much sauce on it for his liking. Perhaps it would been better if he ordered the sauce on the side. My picky daughter ordered the pesto chicken sandwich ,and she said it was pretty good. My family and I were full , but weren't going to let the dessert options pass us by. My family has a sweet tooth. We all shared the chocolate cake and bread pudding . Both are nice options if you need something sweet to top off your meal. The food and vibe of this place deserves 5 stars. I will deduct one star for the mediocre service and inconsistent food prep. Our meals were coming out one by one which made it awkward when trying to eat together. Our server didn't offer refills on our drinks , and didn't bring us utensils -until we asked for them. I will be back to try more menu items , and enjoy a cold beer while watching the game.
