Jay and another staff member assisted me in deciding what to get as I had some gift cards for a certain package, but it didn't include the level of deep cleaning I desired (I had to add some things on). They didn't pressure me at all or make anything confusing. They told me it would take about an hour and that was exactly how long it took. I waited inside and they come in and call you by your vehicle model when it's done. I was extremely happy with the work done. It felt like I just bought my car new again. Side note: plenty of seating inside with ample food and drink options, including hot food.

That's why you're paying extra. Also, they only do a few things. An oil change, an air filter, wiper blades....They don't overhaul engines, they don't do AC repair, they don't sell tires. So when you go there to get an inspection, if something is going to fail, you know it's because it failed and not because they are trying to get more money out of you. (Not that all places do that, but you have piece of mind that it's not being done here.)

Since then every-time i go I'm stuck waiting for an inspection or told the inspector went home so no inspections the rest of the day. Isn't the whole point of valvoline to be able to pull in get your vehicle serviced and be out in a timely manner? Maybe i was just lucky the first few times i went and was able to catch the right time to get an inspection and oil change. I could have just made and appointment somewhere else if i wanted to wait an hour for stuff to get done.

Although, I think the services would have been less expensive at BJ's I value my time more than sitting on hold for 25 minutes & never speaking with a single sole... Between the upselling scare tactics, the contradictions, and the clear lack of integrity, I will never come back here and I strongly recommend others steer clear. There are plenty of honest shops out there that won't try to take advantage of you -- this is not one of them.

Isabella tells me to bring it back Thursday morning. Bring the car back Thursday morning. Patrick clearly annoyed with the fact I was in the shop. Not sure if I wasn't put on the schedule appropriately, or just having a personal bad day. Car battery gets checked. Patrick has battery tested "it's at 56% you're good to go." I inquire if that is normal for a battery I believed to only be a year old? "Yeah new batteries can test as low as 80% in this weather, so 56-80% is acceptable." This was said in front of a full waiting room. I inquire with friends more mechanically inclined than me. I am informed yes l, weather will affect the test but, that's testing at a 2 year old charge. Patrick couldn't be bothered to look up as to when the battery was replaced for me to confirm the date. Didn't discuss how the warranty would be determined. A 24% margin of error seems pretty high for a determining factor on a warranty. Didn't tell me what determines an under performing battery, and what would qualify for replacement. Nor tell me when the warranty expires, to potentially bring it back in warmer weather to test again, before the warranty is null. Very disappointed, this is not reflective of brand and service I have become accustomed to, glad they have a second location. I will be avoiding the Transit location.

But…read moreI have always ended up at Walmart Auto Care Center, because I find great deals along with really good service. The process is simple, you can call and get everything situated. But I prefer doing everything online (including payment), and all I have to do is show up for my appointment date. The do other simple car maintenance task as well. You also have the option to wait in their waiting room. Or you can leave your vehicle there at the shop, and they will text you when your vehicle is complete.

Being down car just wasn't an option today. Unfortunately, I was told they wouldn't even be able to look at it until tomorrow (keep in mind it's 9 AM). No offer to at least inspect the damage or see if it was a quick fix-just a flat "come back tomorrow." I understand being busy , but when it comes to something as urgent as tire repairs, a little flexibility or customer service goes a long way. Disappointed by the lack of urgency and unwillingness to help. Over the years I have never said anything when I scheduled a rotation appointment and my car isn't taken back until 45 minutes after my appointment time. Today was the last straw though. In my time of need Goodyear left me stranded and for that reason I will find a new tire place. One note I did find a place down the street that helped me on the spot and it took them less than an hour. I didn't buy the tires from them it was just good customer service.

To provide a little context, my drivers rear tire has been leaking a LOT of air over the last…read moremonth. I haven't really addressed it besides filling it with air at Mavis because (to be honest) it was a headache i've been putting off. I stopped at the Mavis on Transit on my way home back to Rochester for air, and their pump wasn't in service. Their mechanic Burra came outside and told me to pull around to the side and he'd put air in it. Without me even asking, he tightened my valve stem which was loose and offered to patch my tire. Granted, I didn't come here expecting to pay anything, but I knew it needed to be fixed and he got me right into the garage on the spot. Truly some awesome folks that work here, especially Burra, who show they care about the people who stop in. If i'm in Buffalo and need a new tire, I know where i'll stop now!
