This dentistry took my 22.000$ and made me feel as if they would fix my teeth. In reality one of my implants came unscrewed and one is hopelessly misshaped and is an awful food trap. I tried to bring these issues to light, but when I requested an appointment with my dentist I only got some just out of school kid. I was in and out in less then an hour I had zero pain, they used something to numb my gums and then used the standard pain numbers with a needle that I could not even feel. These guys are a high volume dealer of dental implants. They will chat you up, act concerned, claim to have in-house financing, even a research project, all to get you in the door. Their goal is to fill every seat in the waiting room at 8 o'clock in the morning. They will ask for a credit card just to make sure you show up. Then a quick x-ray and you're presented with a $35,000 treatment plan.. they told you they were caring and they wanted to help you, but they are only offering premium dental work cubic zirconia, which is the most expensive dental product available. It's a big investment maybe you should take it home and think about it right? No, they want you to fill it out right now. "It only takes a few minutes. Don't you want our help? We're trying to help you." And the finance company says no? "Goodbye come back when your credit is better." All this place is trying to do is move bodies and make money. Get them in fill out the financial application and keep it moving. It kind of feels like a high volume high-pressure car dealership. So don't believe these people care about you, your problems, or really want to help you all they really wanna do is get your money. Read the other reviews about the quality of their work. As desperate as I am for dental work, I think I dodged a bullet. In my desperation, I fell for their fake care and compassion bs. I was in and shown the door in less than an hour. read more

I saw Dr. Olga (I can't pronounce her name) for a tooth extraction and an implant. After 56 years of getting my teeth numbed, Dr. Olga numbed my tooth PAIN- FREE! I almost cried out of gratitude and relief! Dr. Olga was very knowledgeable and kind, explaining the procedure and what needed to be done. I am in great hands with her! Hzu has done several procedures for me and had earned my trust, I have used him for many cleanings, crowns and fillings, My last procedure was to remove a molar and replace it with a implant. The procedure took much longer than I expected and I could see Dr Hzu did not look his confident and smiling self, I was exhausted and weary when he said it was done. Three days later my stitches broke loose. His office replied there was nothing that could be done to restitch or close. The next three weeks was the most painful in my life. For the next year, I went thru many check-up appointments to eventually get a new tooth implant only to be told it was infected. I had been advised to go to the University of Washington Dental Dept to be advised about the removal of the implant as that it had been placed so close to the sinus nerve. I left Dr Hzu in a frustrated state and his claim that I had been less than cordial with his staff is exaugurated as a reason for him to offer me a refund and take my business elsewhere. Dr Hzu is a great doctor for some things but there is no excuse for beating me around the bush and helping me get the post possibly removed or reassuring me of the ability to live with it. I must live with this post so close to my sinus as that its removal might pose more problems than leaving it there. He still has the money that my insurance payed to him on my behalf for the procedure. I never want to step in that office again. Some of his staff is excellent, But his personal relation skills and honesty are fit for the commode. read more

It was a convenient location and minimal waiting time so I enjoyed coming here for my twice a year annual teeth cleaning... until my retainers (from a different dental office broke and I needed new ones) So my top retainers cracked and they said they don't do the clear plastic ones (that just goes over teeth) and suggested: I get the wire retainer on top and a bonded retainer ("permanent retainer" that is glued to the front 6 of my teeth)... they said the metal would last forever unlike my plastic ones that needs to be changed every few years So of course because they are the expert... I listened. Got my new metal retainers and $700 later... I remember my bottom has a big gap because a tooth toward the back was pulled out and so it's just floating there with nothing to hold on to it now. I saw and asked and they said the molars don't move so it's ok ... A few days later it just didn't feel right so I went back and asked to get the bonded wire removed and the dentist or orthodontist asked why and I explained the problem. And she said (OMG) that I only mentioned not wanting my front teeth moving around and didn't say anything about not wanting the teeth in the back move.... Like are you serious!!!!!????? Even as a common person now I can tell bonded retainer is not a good option for me due to the big gap and that little tooth not being held by anything. Anyways got them removed and never going back. Ended up getting some clear plastic (or whatever the material is called) retainers from another office. Bye bye $700 wire top retainer and the bottom bonded retainer!! Very dishonest and don't care about their customer/ patient! Never went back after that! As the week pass I feel more and more uncomfortable about the back 3 teeth on one side since there's just a big gap with nothing to hold it in place The top retainers are so uncomfortable and I don't feel the wire is doing as good of a job as my plastic retainers read more

The people are nice and they might be decent when it comes to general dentistry, but when it comes to my experience getting dental implant work done here I would say PLEASE DO NOT GET DENTAL IMPLANTS FROM WEST VALLEY DENTAL!!! I trusted them to help me and gave them 30k and it has been the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! Go to an implant specialist where they work directly with a prosthedontist from the beginning. At W. Valley they do not do everything in-house meaning your teeth are designed by an off-site dental lab by people that are not even familiar with the case. Honestly, I should've RAN AWAY after they did the tooth removal part which took 2 days (started on a Friday and had to wait all weekend to go back and finish on Monday), and Idk why, but I was not put under anesthesia just novicaine and halcion and that did not last long enough....it was pretty traumatic. 1.5 years later and I feel like I'll never get what they promised and I've tried to go elsewhere but once on dentist places the implants no one will work on you unless you start over taking the old implants out, healing over time, and then starting the whole process again. read more

They convinced her to get 5 crowns and charged her $25,000. They didn't give her any alternative options and she was led to believe this was her only option. She is elderly and on a fixed income. By the time she told me about it, it had already been done and her savings drained. We were so mad for her but accepted that she made the choice to approve the work at this ridiculous price and there was nothing we could do. This is now about 2 years after she had the work done and one of the crowns fell out after she bumped her chin on her dog's head. She called them and asked if they would repair it since it should not have fallen out so easily. They told her that her warranty was up. With the ridiculous price tag and unwillingness to repair their work, this dental practice is giving major predatory vibes. read more

Dr. Hsue was very polite, made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, took his time to make me understand what was going on and what was going to happen and really made me feel very confident about my decision to go with them, he also showed me potential of how my teeth would look after he is done and I believe and trust in his work. You are always greeted in a positive way and they do their best to call you by your name often. Gives a feeling like we all know each other really well. Okay - so I'll admit; Dentist are like a plague to me. My grandpa was a dentist and if we (my three brothers and me) had a problem, we walked the country 1/4-mile through the woods and he took care of it without lidocaine, nitrous oxide or gloves, masks, etc... So - about two weeks ago, my RL starting hurting and I just knew I would end up in a dental chair at some point. Ugh... The nightmares of bare thumbs wiggling teeth out of my jawbones just turned my innards. Didn't even know West Valley Dental existed (recently moved from Palmer, Alaska) but I received this wonderful brochure in the mail so I stuck it in my briefcase for that 'just in case' moment and that moment occurred on Monday. I dialed the number and "Ring...ring..." 'Sure I could come in on Tuesday...' thinking it would xrays, discussion on of plan and I would be out of there with hopes that it would all just go away. Tuesday (today) rolls around and I find myself greeted very warmly and you just could tell that Mother Teresa would give this place 5-stars. I completed the paperwork, met the dental assistant who took xrays and then comes the life of the party. The one and only Dr. Hsue. He's like 'what's up' and thus I tell him that I hated him before I got in the chair because he's a dentist. And thus a great new friendship was born! There was no see-you-later-bye moment for about 3 hours. No - once the problem was identified and the cost explained, I signed the form and the destruction began...once he got me half-paralyzed...which is necessary because remember...I hate dentists! After what seemed like eternity, reconstruction began and poof, I basically have a new molar with 4-post and most of a man-made tooth. It was an amazing visit. A molar root-canal with four canals instead of two, some gum re-shaping around the molar and here I am, ready to give him and the group not 5 stars but 10, despite the fact that I feel like every tendon, ligament and muscle in my jaw/cheek area was wrapped half-way around my globe and now throbbing unbelievably. No - hydrocodone may be keeping the edge off but that's about it Dr. Hsue. Would I do it again? You bet your fancy I would. Everyone there is so down to earth, friendly, warm, touchy-feely and it made my hate disappear...only temporarily. To say the least, I'll be heading back there for Part II of the re-construction in two weeks for the ceramic crown and then on with the next phase and some filling rebuilds that the old guy...my grandpa...did many years ago. The people at the front desk were welcoming and efficient, and the person who who got me situated and did my X-ray was so wonderfully grounded and reassuring, which really helped mitigate my long-standing dental anxiety. Everything looked clean, and attention to COVID precaution was apparent. It was quiet and well-staffed; I didn't have to wait for anything. The staff seemed happy, and I noticed elderly patients in the lobby being treated with a lot of care and respect. I can't remember how I found this place, but I am so glad I did, because Dr. Hsue and his team are amazing. I dreaded coming to my first appointment because it had been so long, but they were very professional and friendly (and didn't judge or chastise me at all)! I love how they explain everything to me, which is not something that was previously done at all my other dental offices. It's nice to know not only what I need, but WHY I need it, and how I can prevent such dental problems in the future. I had to get some crowns and fillings, and they thoroughly went over my costs and insurance coverage, but also had great emergency follow-up for when I ran into issues with my temp crown. Dr. Huse and his team have been consistently amazing since 2000. They put people first, teeth second, and the bottom line third. Dental care is expensive, no way around it, Dr. Huse and his team have always made the effort to know and be able to explain how my insurance worked with their fees. They understand about hard times and never made me feel guilty about not being able to do everything I needed right away. In fact, they know so much about what they are doing and our "dental particulars" that they always have a prioritized plan for me. And, FYI, Dr. Huse also does Ortho. He did my oldest daughters braces in 2008 and my younger one will have hers off by the end of the month. I know, and have experienced, that they can do what they say they can do. It will take as long as they say it will (giver or take) and cost as much as they estimate. They are upfront with what they know and with what they don't know. No surprises! When choosing a dentist, it's the little things that matter and that those same things can't be uncovered when you first start looking, they only come out over time. Questions like. Do they care about their patients as people? Do they understand about real life, and phobias, busyness, and poor flossing habits (they don't like poor flossing habits, but they understand). I had work done over several appointments. While the staff seems nice, they are unreliable. Two of my appointments were cancelled by their office, with less than 24 hours notice. If I had cancelled that late, they would have charged me as a no-show. After the second time my appointment got cancelled, I declined to make another appointment, cancelled my future appointment and found myself a new dentist, because I don't appreciate the late cancellations. It was after that, that I suddenly started receiving a bill. Since I have a credit account, and paid at the time of service, I question why this had not been charged sooner. I have no real explanation of the charges. This is completely unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more

I went here to get 2 wisdom teeth removed. They charged an average price to have it removed, but on the follow up appointment, i canceled my appointment because my stitches came out by themselves. They charged me 50 dollars because i "missed my appointment". They then took me to collections and threatened to put this on my credit report.
