This is my second time using Western Rooter's services, and I still had a very pleasant experience despite me refusing completion of service. I have been having issues with my toilet since I moved in a couple months ago, and in that time, I got the flush valve replaced by a hard to reach handyman, replaced the toilet handle after the nut fell off and was flushed down, and I replaced the red flapper as the old one caused water to rush. My current issue involves a very low flow when flushing that I frustratingly couldn't figure out on my own. WELL, today I learned that a "Universal Toilet handle" is just some low level BS marketing as the lever on the inside wasn't able to be positioned well enough for the flapper to get pulled up high enough for a normal flush. Pablo was able to take a look at it and identified the issue being the toilet handle I had replaced; again, NOT universal like how the product was advertised. Anyway, Pablo did offer to get it replaced right away, but instead of paying the $140 to replace a $20 part, he gave me an honest diagnosis and the confidence with knowing how best to address the issue on my own. I wanted to give a quick shout out to Western Rooter and the plumber (Richie) they sent out to bail me out today. I was trying to do a self repair and swap out a cartridge in my tub. I gave it the old college try, but I ended up breaking the cartridge in half while I was trying to remove it and the other half was REALLY stuck. I called Western Rooter and they sent Richie over. Before Richie arrived he called me up to get a basic idea of what the problem was. He asked me to send him a couple of photos to make sure he would show up with the right parts and materials. He got to my house quickly and he was very courteous and professional. Richie got to work and, after agreeing the cartridge was good and stuck, managed to fix everything and clean up my mess quite nicely. I asked him for some advice about some other projects I was planning on trying to tackle and I honestly got the impression he had my best interest in mind. And he told me if I tried to fix some things on my own and found myself in over my head again, they were always there to help. This was my first time working with Western Rooter and I had a great experience. I reached out to them for a sewer line inspection through the project feature. They were very quick to respond and helped me set up an appt within two days. I really appreciated Robert, the plumber who helped me with the inspection. He notified me when he was on the way and when he arrived on the property. He arrived promptly and was very professional in sharing his findings and recommendations as he did the inspection. After that, he was kind enough to ask for anything else I needed. That's when I asked him to check out another area of concern on the property and he gladly agreed and gave recommendations for that as well. We had trouble Thanksgiving with our hot water heater. It gave out. We tried to get someone to come and get it checked out but no luck then finally was able to contact someone from Western Rooter . They were very pleasant and sent someone out to check it and said we did need what we thought a new water heater. And to our surprise they were able to replace it . Homer Montano a very nice gentleman said he would be able to replace it for us that day with no problem. So he did and hauled the old one away with no problem and I know I'm going to be able to use him again for my bathtub I'm having trouble with in about a month from now. The best service i've ever gotten from a plumbing company. From the kind person dispatching the technician, to the service tech, to the billing team, the entire process was pleasant and simple. My garbage disposal and shower cartridge both failed in my home. I contacted Western supreme, and they immediately sent someone to come assess. The identified the issues, explained everything in detail, and made the necessary repairs. They tested the repairs for 15 minutes each to ensure they held, and asked me if i had any questions. Paying for the service was also simple as they have multiple options. I highly recommend using them for any household jobs you may have. Cost was very fair. My sister and her family had an emergency sewer backup on a Saturday night, and after another company came out and tried to sell them a big job for a big price she called me, since I am a plumber. Called Western Rooter (WR) out to check in an error code recorded by my tankless water heater. Ryan was the tech who came out. After an hour-ish cleaning and reviewing the maintenance performed by WR in September, he was able to get the system working again. Unfortunately, the problem reoccurred again later that night, sparking a revisit by Ryan the next day. Ryan worked through many possible scenarios and was able to identify a flow problem in one shower head that caused the system to error. I truly appreciate the dedication and patience Ryan and WR took to resolve the issue. Top notch group at WR. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Western Rooter is the main plumber for our condo complex, and they do minor/routine plumbing jobs for private owners, as well as large projects related to sewage, drainage and major leaks. This visit two plumbers arrived and one took off my shower head to verify that deposits inside created the low water pressure and overall water pressure was fine. He gave me an estimate and Western Rooter followed up with an official estimate. By that time I had purchased a new shower head and installed it, but I have used Western Rooter for bigger jobs in the past, and I will use them in the future for their promptness and honesty, as always. read more

We had an issue with a refrigerator installation, where the delivery guy said he wouldn't install it unless the angle stop was replaced. Sooo, I needed to call a plumber. They came within the HOUR to help us. James inspected it, and said that it was a little tight but otherwise just fine to continue with installation with the existing angle stop. Other places might have swindled us and replaced it anyway to make money. But James was very honest, very knowledgeable, and professional and nice. Carlos is knowledgeable, helpful, gives good tips and advice, as well as thorough in his work, efficient, and effective. The office staff is helpful and friendly. Their prices are affordable, while also doing the work that needs to be done. They do not push the customer to do extra work, but they do explain the work that they recommend and why. I had a different local plumber come out to assess a sewer line problem I was having. They took a look and told me that it would cost $3800 to fix it. This seemed quite high to me, so I called Western Rooter, based on a referral from a friend. John came out and, while he agreed that the way the first plumber suggested to fix the problem would work, their suggestion was way overkill, and he recommended Hydro-jetting the line instead of a full-on "descaling" of the pipe. He cleared our pipe for $400, which we more than happily paid! I would recommend these guys highly to anyone! read more

I had a shower problem with the diverter and also the changing of a drinking water filter. These issues were resolved quickly, and the shower head was also changed because it was also deemed a problem. A tiny leak was detected in the copper feedline under the sink involving the water filter so that will require replacing the existing lines. I am very happy with the service and professionalism demonstrated by these folks! We had a leak in the kitchen sink (and clog). After going through another local plumber that just didn't want to answer questions and appear thin on patience, it was a breath of fresh air with Samuel from Western! He listened to our gripes, explained things to us in layman terms, didn't scoff at our miscellanous tack-ons, and even gave us free advice! Charlie came out in about an hour to assess issue- they worked very hard the entire next day up until 8 PM to fix a major problem with our gas line.
