Great place to fix run flat tires! They work fast and reliable as well and I really recommend it! Be aware, they closed by 7pm.

They're more than just a "tire shop", they provide full service mechanical, pneumatic, suspension, tires, electrical, and they can even arrange autobody/accident repair service work. For the past 25+ years, we've had all our vehicles serviced here, everything from economy cars to family cars / SUV's to luxury vehicles to pick up trucks to cargo vans to small/large box trucks to high performance V12 super cars. We used to take anything with with MSRP greater than $80k to shops that specialize in "European" cars until the charges became noticeably "excessive" and unreasonable. So on a whim we brought a super car here for them to diagnose... well they solved the problem permanently and at a fraction of the "European" specialty shop's running / never-ending quotes and charges! We're not alone, we've seen other customers bring a wide range of vehicles here, like exotic cars, classic cars, highly collectible muscle cars, kit cars, etc. We've had repair work done at various dealers and repair shops (all over Southern California, Arizona, Nevada) over the years and this is our favorite shop. This shop is a total rip off. First time I came here one of my sensors needed to be replaced. The owner Hank told me it would cost $450 total. I called the dealership and asked how much they charge for the part. They said $135 for original part and takes about 10 minutes or less to replace since it only had two screws and accessible from the top of the engine. I told the owner Hank and he said the best he can do is $420 because it was "very difficult" to diagnose. He normally charges $35 for diagnoses and it's included if they do the repairs so he was clearly not justified for charging me about another $300! I ended up paying him because he had my car hostage and no other nearby shop was open. I never gave a review of the place then because I had completely forgotten about it until today when my sister told me about what happen to her. She went there to get an oil change since it was the nearest shop. The owner convinced her simply by looking at it that she needed to rotate and re-balance her tires for $45! I recently bought her tires and why would she need to rebalance them! Most local shops charge only $10 to rotate. Then he insisted that she needed an $800 tuneup. Don't come here. They don't deserve your business. read more

Wow. What's up with these fake negative reviewers. I have to speak up. For more than 8 years I took my old '97 Nissan Sentra sedan for Hank and his team to fix up. I originally found them because my ex-boyfriend who grew up in the area recommended them. My ex's father was an auto mechanic and really liked the honest, work and pricing of Hank and his crew. Their reputation was confirmed once again when I showed the receipt of some extensive work I did to a friend of mine who is an artist who fixed cars and used car parts for his art. This artist friend was blown away with what a great deal I was getting. Thanks Hank for taking care of me for all those years! Now I have a new car and using the dealership but I wouldn't hesitate to go to you. I came here to get a flat tire checked out because it was the only place open in the area at the time. I was told that the tire couldn't be fixed and it would cost about $150 to mount and balance a new tire. I went to another shop the next day and they fixed the flat for $10. So I see one of two possible explinations: 1. They are trying to make a bit more money by charging for a new tire. 2. They couldn't fix a simple hole in my tire. Both are quite alarming. read more

I'm from Alhambra, but now reside in Westwood, and I STILL come all the way out here just to get my 128K 2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner checked out by these guys. Me, my mom, and other friends have been going to Hank/Vi/et al. for over...10 years now. Everyone knows how important it is to find a mechanic you can trust...whether it's their suggestions on what your car needs or the price they'll charge you for parts/labor, and these guys meet both those VERY important requirements. Many times, I'll go to the dealer or a quick stop oil change place, have them tell me what I "need" to do on my truck, then I bring it to the Western Union Tire guys for a second opinion. And if I do need the service, they always seem to charge 25-50% less than if I were to do it at the dealer/quick change places. Over the 9 years I've brought my truck, this is what they've done/worked on: Timing belt crazy technical air intake system/gauges shocks general tune-ups replaced broken windshield rotate and balance tires faulty starter transmission care radiator care power steering care fuel injector care The only thing I'd complain about is their speed. If you've got half-full day of letting them have your car, then you're gravy. Other than that, I don't trust anyone else with my truck, Wilma. She'll always go to Western Union Tire. read more

I came here because of a few recommendations. This was an emergency since I wasn't from the area. My tire popped driving down from Nor cal so i had to get it patched. Unfortunately it was un-patchable due to the insides coming apart. We how ever did get a great deal! on all four new tires for my car. My tires needed to be changed since my last check up so why not change them now and feel safer as i go home right? So we got our tire changed and they were super quick about it. The job was nicely done and I was there to witness them do the whole thing. Once they were done they checked to make sure everything was okay and they let us be on our way. This is the worst car repair shop I have ever been to. I changed the engine oil once and made a mess of the inside of my car. My Audi car has a 10,000 mile oil change, but when I go to this garage, I change it and drive After a thousand miles, my car showed that I wanted to change the oil again. It was really terrible. In addition, I changed the oil in another car. After I bought the new car, I went to this garage to change the oil once, and then the next day. When I returned to China, the car has not been moved. When I came back, I found that the button of the parking axle of my car was broken. It was a small action made by this garage. It was really broken. Since then, I will never go again. read more

I waited for about 6-8 hours and I got to say I'm really impressed with the final result waiting that amount of time was so worth it. I called and asked about breaks and some chinese man picked up , sounded very rude!! I explained my reason of call and another phone rang and without any reason he put me on hold and started talking to another customer. 3minutes passed he asked me what i wanted. I told him that im upset because he was rude and put me on hold with out any notice, then he hung up on me. That shows you that this shop does not handle customers with respect, i wouldnt trust him with my vehicle. Never come here again . Very rude and not professional. I do not recommend this store.
