I'd leave 0 stars if I could. We were looking forward to this dinner based in the reviews. We were seated and it took quite a while for a waitress to come get our drink order. It took about 30-40 minutes for us to get our drinks; then another after that 15-20 minutes before we got our soup and salad. The restaurant was not busy, there were 3 other tables being served. The other waiter appeared to be busy and attentive to his tables. The soup and salad finally came and the soup was cold. About 15 minutes after we finished our soup and salad, the waitress came over and told us they were out of prime rib, which is what we both ordered. She brought us over the menus again but after about 15-20 minutes she never came back so I waved her over and asked for the check for the drink and soup and salad. We paid cash and left a bigger tip than we should have because I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to get our card back. Was looking for a nice place to have dinner without having to go all the way to Flagstaff. Stumbled upon this place and read all the reviews and gave this place a shot. Yes this place is inside of a Best Western but don't let that stop you. We were sat immediately and it's a quaint little restaurant. The menu has lots of options from salads, burgers, steak and seafood. I got the salmon with wild rice and green beans. My husband got the filet mignon with cheese polenta and seasonal vegetables. My salmon was delicious as was my green beans and wild rice. I did have a few crunchy pieces. My husband's steak was perfect and melt in your mouth. The cheese polenta....omg it was super good. Our server was very nice and attentive. I was blown away that this dinner was amazing for being inside of an hotel. If we are ever in this area again, we will be back. read more

I just recently had visited some longtime friends that live in Williams and they really wanted to go to Western view steakhouse and I said I would love to take them to dinner. Well we decided to go and what a disappointment this establishment was we first started off with ordering some drinks and, waited for our drinks to come which took a while and also had to ask them for the appetizer that we ordered that they forgot and upon waiting it was sad because it had lapsed 30 minutes and my friend Mike had asked for another beer and the waitress basically simply forgot well after an hour, we finally got our food. I had ordered a ribeye. My fiancé had ordered the trout almondine, and my friends that we were visiting had ordered prime rib, and wanted it rare well it was sad because my ribeye dinner came out and I put the back of my finger to touch the steak and it was ice cold. My fiancé trout alomondine was so dry that I basically told the waitress the trout alomondine is drier than the Sahara desert, and then when the prime rib plates finally came out it they looked old and disgusting not rare not looking like you would see in an advertisement. It looked horrible, and it was ice cold also, so I decided to ask for the manager which I had to ask for the manager several times before she came to us, when the manager came out, she had an attitude with me and I simply told her that I know the customer isn't always right, but tonight this customer is right and we do not want the food simply because it's all cold. We've been waiting over an hour and she started getting mad and said well we're busy tonight and so I simply said well that's not my problem that you're busy and I told her look around there's a lot of empty tables and then she came back yelling at me that we have a small kitchen at that point I was furious, and I just told her I want my money back and I could not believe that she had the nerve to charge us for the drinks which I simply paid and I believe the appetizer which was potato skins that were ice cold and I'm gonna tell anyone do not visit this establishment. It sucks the attitude sucks. The help sucks when you're going to spend $350-$400 for dinner I believe it should be perfect, maybe not perfect but almost perfect and to get an attitude the way we were treated was unbelievable so I have to basically go ahead to let all you know that this place completely completely sucks. We stopped in to Western View Steakhouse after reading a number of positive reviews...however, I don't think any of them did justice to the experience we had! First of all we were pleasantly greeted by the hostess who was finishing up with a take away order and then again welcomed us after. She took us to a cozy table in a corner looking out across the room to expansive windows. The dining room was elegantly furnished with pretty hammered copper table tops and comfortable leather chairs. As we were seated the hostess said our server Cassidy would be right with us. Just a few moments later an adorable, bubbly girl came to our table to ask about our order. We started with the Baked Garlic Brie and it was probably the best Brie I have ever tasted (and I love Brie and have had a lot!!). We had a nice wine pairing with that. Cassidy also took our order at that time. I ordered the top Sirloin (done medium rare to perfection) and husband ordered the Rib Eye...also cooked perfectly. Cassidy kept an eye on us, brought the first course (French Onion fSoup for and Salad for hubby...all delicious) and then when we were finished with that, Cassidy was out with our steaks, sides, wine, etc. this was truly an unexpectedly wonderful experience and we both agreed it was five star food, service and atmosphere. Great meal! Appetizer of the Day! Shrimp Cocktail :) Translucent Extra Jumbo 16/20 Shrimp, cooked exactly as nature intended, so you can enjoy the moist sweet tender meat. The accompanying cocktail sauce was perfectly suited for my palette, though be warned there is enough what I would assume was freshly ground horseradish or a close facsimile a healthy dash of Tabasco sauce, ketchup and lemon juice to get anyone's attention. It got mine! The soup du jour was an excellent choice and contrast... A Green Chili Sauce Pork Stew that was salty, sour tartness from the tomatillos and slight citrus from the chilies, onions and vinegar. If you're craving a slightly spicy and tart pork stew, do yourself a favor and try it. I give the Chef full marks and cudos for the creativity of taking very authentic ingredients of classic Mexican cuisine and presenting it in a delicious way I've never seen nor heard of before. Delicious! Though to some it may taste ever so slightly on the saltier side... But ever so slightly. I happen to crave a little more salt and savoriness that naturally comes with many spicier ethnic cuisines. For my main course they had on offer a Newport Meat Company Ribeye Steak which I ordered Rare, The Newport Meat Company of Newport Beach California is one of the premier meat purveyors to many of the very best restaurants in the US. Their meat quality is always top notch, especially their beautifully marbled USDA Prime and their OUTSTANDING Certified Angus Beef has one of the world's best flavor profiles due to the excellent marbling and unique Certified Angus almost purple meat due to the higher mineral content of the Black and Red Angus breeds that originated from Scottish lines that a Scot named George Grant imported four hornless black hided Angus bulls from Scotland to Kansas in 1873 and crossbred them with the hearty Texas Longhorns. The only thing better than a Certified Angus Beef steak is a Certified Angus Prime Beef steak for unparalleled tender, buttery juicy flavor. We except for a Japanese Kobe Wagyu A5 11-12 score steak, which is in a class by itself, cannot and should not be eaten or prepared in the same way as other steaks. But starting at $200 pound that is to be expected. Which in all above cases the only way to fail with such wonderful steaks would be how it was cut, stored, should never be fully frozen that would crystalize the protein fibers of the meat when frozen and dry them out causing the meat to be stringy and tough. Forgive me, I digress, as I do anytime I think of such quality prepared as intended in the hands of someone who knows how. So the Ribeye ordered rare which came closer to medium rare. A misstep I have several theories on grill temperature being too low, storage temperature of steak when pulled, as well as a few present recovering market and inventory issues many restaurants are dealing with in shortages of qualified labor, keeping food waste down, while ensuring you always have enough on hand, etc. Therefore it is only fair for me to forgive to an otherwise perfect meal. The Steak Fries were seasoned nicely, and ordered them in spite of the healthier side options of vegetables, baked potato or freshly made in-house Mac and Cheese. Unable to enjoy the wide selection of beer, wine and spirits on offer, I instead went with the non-alcoholic Arnold Palmer...who knew they had an alcohol version... But Arnold was no teetotaler. I had always thought it was called the John Daly as the alcoholic mixed drink consisting of lemonade, iced tea, spiked with vodka, named American PGA golfer, country singer, hard charging, hard drinking, beef eating legend John Daly. So now that COVID-19 is becoming less of a hindrance to our social and dining, at least in Northern Arizona and while in the historic town of Williams AZ Gateway to the Grand Canyon, head on over for a meal or libation of your choice. I was staying here and exhausted from a long day of driving. Wasn't expecting much from a restaurant in a Best Western but when I am wrong I'll admit it. This place was fantastic! Top notch service and the food was so amazingly delicious. I had a grilled pork chop with a raspberry glaze and some grilled veggies and salad. They have the best rolls and real butter! I was here with friends a couple of weeks ago. I grew up nearby and hadn't been home in many years. The go-to steakhouse in Williams has closed and my group was looking for an alternative. We landed here and it was great. We all ordered steaks and various sides and it was all very good! We sat in the bar area and it was very nice. First let me commend our waiter Alfredo. He provided outstanding customer service even following us to the parking lot with my husbands jacket that he left behind. We had the porterhouse steak. We followed other reviews suggestion that if we wanted medium rare have the steak cooked at rare. It was tender welled seasoned cooked to perfection and delicious. For the starter I opted to have the French onion soup. As other reviewers said the soup was thin, however I took the time to cut up the seasoned bread covered in cheese with my spoon and stirred and stirred it untill the soup was a better consistency and flavor for my tastes. My husband had the green Chile pork stew and absolutely love it. The sides we both picked was wild rice and the green beans sautéed with onions and bacon. Absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the green beans again. We picked the rice as we are trying to eat healthier. It was good and would still order over the potatoes offered. Their happy hours currently are Friday, Saturday & Sunday, which we were able to take advantage of as we went on Sunday. They have a singer that performs on Friday and Saturday nights. read more

Did to-go late and got the Newport Porterhouse with green chilli stew, mac'n'cheese, and a baked potato. The bread that came with it was delicious, and the mac'n'cheese & stew were both really good. The baked potato was ok- came with cheese, sour cream and bacon (pretty standard). I had asked for the porterhouse cooked medium and it came out medium rare, but it was seasoned really well and the quality of the meat was good. Shout-out to Dorothy for amazing service. Looking for a steak house in Williams, AZ and we were dismayed by the touristy look of the ones in central Williams. The reviews for this one seemed better so we looked to give it a try. It was not easy to find as we assumed it was a stand alone building. We found it was on the first floor of the 3 star hotel which gave us pause. It was late and we decided to give it a try. We were very pleasantly suprised. The wait staff was friendly. The flatware, glasses, and dishes were 4-5 star restaurant quality. The best was the steak was great and prepared exactly as asked and the sides and salad was perfect. Our waiter even made us laugh a few times. Decided to give this place a try considering it had a 4 star rating. I guess don't always go off of them. I had the breaded steak with white gravy and for my two sides I got double mashed potatoes with more white gravy. Let's start this review with the statement "I wasn't even hungry." Which, I wasn't. Raz was the hungry one and he insisted we do dinner when I was ready to curl up and just be out cold by 8pm after a really significant train and hiking adventure. But, I'm a sucker for his puppy-dog-eyes, so there we all were, walking into a hotel on the far side of Wilson, AZ well after nightfall. I was duly impressed by the decor, which will become my new definition of modern western elegance. I was less impressed by the live music entertainment, but there was a live, local entertainer who was actually quite a skilled singer even if his style wasnt to my taste. Our server was fast, efficient, and friendly, truly exactly what you want in a server at a good steakhouse. I stuck to just an order of French Onion Soup, and helped with the Garlic Brie appetizer. Raz went for the 16 oz. Porterhouse, and his daughter had the Chicken Fajitas. My soup was good, I mean it's hard not to like one of my favorite dishes. It wasnt the best I've ever tasted, but it was solid execution. The still-sizzling Garlic Brie was melty and flavorful, better by far than the soup. Raz's steak was my idea of a perfect medium-rare, which simply reminded me that I should have read the cooking descriptions, since Raz ordered "medium." The fajitas were actually straight-up good, some of the best I've sampled, actually, which makes them worth their heafty price tag. All-in-all, though, the hundred-dollar price tag on dinner for three does seem a bit steep, and that's what keeps this review out of the 5-star range. read more

Went to this restaurant based on yelps 4 stars, well it's getting a 5 star rating from me. The place is clean, a nice calm ambiance, we didn't sit outside but it looked really cool out there. My wife and I both had filet mignon, cooked to perfection. This was possibly the best steak I've had from a restaurant in a long time, and I eat a lot of steak. Wife also had grilled shrimp, perfect she said. Service was great. This restaurant is in side the Best Western and I will stay here next time so I can enjoy another meal and relax.They also have a lounge that looks relaxing and well laid out. If you're in the Williams area and want to nice steak give this place a try. A nice Steak house inside the Best Western Inn Of Williams AZ. Nice ambience with a small lounge next-door. The service was friendly and complete. I had the Rack of Lamb with baked potato and sautéed mushrooms. The spinach salad with fresh and tasty . The mushrooms and the potato were very good. The Lamb was season perfectly and cooked to a perfect medium rare. My only complaint was for $30.00 there should've been more than four rib bones. I can't speak to the steak portion of the restaurant. I can say the Mexican portion is awesomely good. I can say the shrimp jalapeño bacon wraps "Scorpion rolls" are off the hook.
