My wife and I stopped here for dinner while visiting in Williams AZ. Our dinning experience was excellent with great service from our waiter. My wife did not have a big appetite so she ordered a side salad and a bowl of the Pork green chilli stew. She couldn't stop talking about the stew she loved it. I had the lamb chops in medium rare with a mint sauce, I call it the tomahawk chop LOL. I am very picky when it comes to lamb and I was not disappointed. The side was grilled zucchini and squash which was exactly like I make. The restaurant is located inside of the best western hotel and there is a nice bar next to the restaurant as well. We were very pleased with our experience here and would return in a heart beat. We might even check out staying here next time we take a trip to Williams. read more

Was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Chose to stay at the Best Western while passing through town so we decided to eat dinner there too. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ranch steak, both were amazing. The cocktails had a very weak pour, but to be expected at the lounge of a hotel. Still tasted good though. Simply amazing! We stopped at the Grand Canyon Brewery. Jake, our Bartender, suggested we try the Western View Steakhouse. Well Jake was spot on. Our Waiter Lee was very kind & attentive. I asked for 2 wine samples, nice pours, and we decided on the OZV Red Blend DELICIOUS! Hubby and I split the 14oz Rib eye. I asked Lee to make sure our baked potato was hot (I hate going to a Steakhouse and getting a almost warm baked potato). We both had the green salad which was very fresh. The buttermilk ranch was amazing. Now Lee serves our, split, dinners. I first notice the stem piping from the baked potato. My heart was thrilled when I took a bite and confirmed it was hot and very tasty. Now the true test..... a bite of the medium rare Rib Eye. Happy Happy Happy! The Rib Eye was cooked perfectly and the flavor was incredible! I'm a foodie and typically the best steak is st home. You have my word, their Rib Eye is incredible. Afer a long day driving, we stopped in for dinner. The place is listed on a great site called "BringFido.com" which informs us about dog-friendly places to stay and to eat. The place was not busy and they seemed to have plenty of staff. They would not seat us on the patio - it was "closed" (75 degrees and sunny at 5:30 PM). They did inform us that they could cook dinners and present them in to-go styrofoam and we could eat them on the patio, but there was no "service" out there. $40 steaks in plastic. Not friendly, not accommodating, and REALLY bad business practice...we usually spend over $100 at steakhouses. Not only that, now you all are seeing this posting, so they will lose some prospective business as well. read more

If a steakhouse and a cafeteria had a baby, it would be this place. Given the rating, I thought it would be good. It was not. The waiter brought out chocolate milk for our kid. It tasted like chocolate water. The water they serve is bad tap water. We ordered our meal before the other group we were with. They got their food first. Then a table next to us sat down 20 to 30 minutes later and they got their food. We say something to the waiter, and he says, " Well, you did order your steaks well done." It doesn't take 45 minutes to grill a steak even if it's well done. The food finally came out, and my filet went past well done. I paid $2 extra for the sautéed mushrooms that were only a 1/4 cup worth. My husband ordered the New York Strip and got a sirloin instead. My daughter's cheeseburger bun was so hard. I'm sure they forgot our food and nuked her cheeseburger or something. The other group that was with us had a bad experience as well with the service and food. read more

On a raised hill hidden behind a mini forest, in a small town of Williams, Arizona - on world famous route 66 - is a little Best Western with an wonderful hidden gem. The Kachina restaurant/lounge sits nestled in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We drove in at night so we followed the lighted path. When we walked in, we are pleasantly greeted with feelings of comfort and calm. A wave of warm happiness washed over us immediately. We were seated quickly, there were many diners seemingly enjoying their meals and having quiet discussions with each other. The ceilings were high, the tables and chairs were grand and bulky - this added to the feeling of comfort and safety. The windows were floor to ceiling and there was a fireplace with an active fire burning. The menu was full of options for just about every type of eater there is. They brought warm fresh -out of the oven- bread to start with. The butter was soft and spreadable. I ordered a ribeye with the baked potato and cheesy polenta. We shared a salad which was fresh with no rotted leaves or any type of defects. It was put together quickly and we enjoyed it immensely. Since it was late and one of my children fell asleep we were not able to order dessert. The service was prompt and polite. The food was absolutely delicious. The energy and the atmosphere was exactly what my soul needed at that moment. I felt like I was in a fairytale. This is a wonderful place to be. I recommend it to everyone that reads this. Hubby and I decided to eat here for convenience. It wasn't crowded, so no worries there. The servers were nice and brought everything promptly. The food portions are almost too much. We ordered a steak and chicken tacos. I ordered the French onion soup because many said it was so good. I have to disagree. It was bland in taste. The onions weren't cooked enough. It seemed the soup was reheated in a microwave. I only ate half. The steak was cooked the way I asked, and it had a great taste. The baked potato was a good size and the veggies were lightly sautéed but in a bunch of oil. Hubby said his chicken tacos were good. The rice was okay, but the beans tasted like they were right out of the can. His meal came with chips and salsa. Chips were okay, but I really liked the salsa. It was not from a jar. Came here 03/01/18 Great steakhouse located inside a Best Western Plus hotel! We stopped after a LONG day on the road. We had the pub steak and half chicken dinners. Wow! Plenty of food. Main entrees came with soups and salads and house baked bread loads with tons of whipped butter! We could have easily ordered one dinner and had leftovers! Food was great, steak was perfectly cooked, customer service was awesome. They have plenty of seating and live entertainment. Nice bar too! Prices were decent. read more

Had dinner here last night. So convenient since we were staying at the hotel. The hostess was attentive and pleasant. She sat us right in front of the fireplace, which was absolutely perfect since it was so cold outside. The ambience was wonderful. Cozy and nice, but not uptight and stuffy. Our server was also great! So friendly and attentive as well! The food took a little time due to a large table that ordered before us. Our server apologized for the wait, but we didn't mind as we were enjoying winding down in front of the fireplace. When the food did come, it all tasted great! For a medium priced steakhouse in a best western hotel, the total experience was better than some of the "fine dining" places we've been to. We loved it! read more

Delicious food and good service. We really enjoyed the singer as well. One thing that I noticed was that every other table received bread at the beginning of the meal, but we did not. Very mixed emotions about this restaurant. First of all, it is in the Best Western Hotel about a mile and a half outside Williams. Willams is a complete tourist trap so the bar is set pretty low as a result. We wanted a hearty dinner as we were tackling a 15 mile hike the next day and chose steak. We were seated immediately (about 7 pm on a Tuesday, no reservations). Our server, Ephraim, was very attentive and had a lot of tables to service. I felt like we had stepped back into 1990 with the decor, dishes and serving tools--all food was brought out on rolling carts. My New York Strip, ordered rare deliberately since I knew it would be overcooked, came out closer to medium (was hoping for medium rare). The loaded baked potatoes were as expected with the basic cheese, sour cream and bacon. Meat was of average quality at best. It was an expensive average meal in a town without a lot of choice. Go to Grand Canyon Brewery -- they've got really good burgers and brews. read more

We were looking forward to having a wonderful steak dinner here as several locals said it was good and the reviews were good. A company cocktail gathering was going on and the bar area was packed. Perhaps she was overwhelmed, because the bartender wasn't friendly. One tequila, $15 and one IPA beer, $12. $12 for a beer! We requested to sit outside on the patio as it was a lovely evening and locals told us it was the best part of dining here. We were told they couldn't seat us outside because of the cocktail gathering going on? We did have a lovely waitress, Dalia, who gave us great service. We ordered the NY steaks, which came medium well instead of medium rare. Our bill showed the right order. Garlic mashed potatoes were salty and starchy dense, instead of fluffy. The pork stew was really good as were the dinner salads. Wish we would have just had that. Disappointing steak for a steakhouse and the ambiance was not enjoyable with the loud cocktail party from the bar and the corner we were sat at. Would have been quieter outside and more enjoyable. Wow, I was not expecting that at all. We stopped here for a late dinner after a long day cruising Route 66. We shared an order of tacos and a giant sugar cookie topped with ice cream. They were delicious!! The salsa and ranchero beans were fresh and so authentic. Our friendly and helpful waitress, Ramona, confirmed that everything is made from scratch onsite. I don't know when I've ever had such a memorable meal at a hotel restaurant. We'll be back again tomorrow night for sure! PS. The steaks are just as good as the Mexican food!
