In fact, it doesn't have the name of the place anywhere to be found inside or outside...guess they hope you don't figure it out and leave a bad review. I walked in to see if they had a change machine before I brought in a rug. One wasn't working but I finally found one that was working. I pulled my wallet out of my purse and some chick came out and started yelling at me that you could only get changed if you were a customer. I told her that I am a customer. I just came in to see if you had a coin machine and my laundry is in my car. She said I had to go get it right now. But it wasn't a nice little 0G would you mind, it was like I am in junior high and my mother is scolding me. Now she's staring at me. And has apparently nothing else to do. This used to be my convenient laundry location. I know recently they changed ownership and soon after they "remodeled" It was after this remodeling that I discovered there are no more small washing machines for smaller loads. There are only a few "medium" sized washing machines left and now they have been replaced by NEW BIGGER much more EXPENSIVE washing machines. Being a single Dad who comes here to wash my clothes and my daughters I paid double what I used to for washing. ($5.50 for a load double rinse vs $11) I also paid much more for the new dryers too. Price used to be $25 for 7 to 8 minutes but now we get half of that. I will probably do my smaller loads at home and make sure I bring everything I can to wash and get my money's worth. Parking is not available due to construction so I did have to walk quite a distance carrying all of my stuff. New Management, just a tip. Maybe try and be more cordial to your patrons? Your demographic is about to change I imagine. I think most people who can afford a place with a large washer and dryer will do laundry at their home. It's the renters in our area that bring business to you. read more

Esta malo! $8.50 for a single wash in a large washer? Do I get pixie dust in my clothes for that price? Maybe it's the "ambiance" fee. 4.50 for a medium sized washer set on hot, that doesn't get warm to the touch. $8.50 for a big machine means I overstuffed a smaller machine. You're welcome. Dryer "hot" setting is more like warmed from the friction of spinning clothes. I'm sure the owner is laughing all the way to the bank. read more

I just had the WORST experience here. I had hopped outta the car to start changing my bills into coins while my friend went to find parking. While I was doing that, someone who I thought was homeless cause of the way he was dressed came up to me and loudly like he was accusing me saying "change machine is for customers only". Shocked I turned and said yes I am bringing my clothes in it's in the car. But wow - WHAT BAD VIBES ON CHRISTMAS EVE TOO!!!!! Sorry if I was trying save time ?!! Cause it's the day before XMAS and I have a ton of things to do?? I was so turned off that I quickly left and instead of bringing my clothes to wash I just went home !! Pros are the coin dispenser machine work and all the machines work. Though it looks like staff do a good job cleaning around here, the machines are so old that a germaphobe like me does not feel comfortable touching the machines. The dryers have old melted rubber, gum, etc melted and melded onto the spinning drums inside. I tried not to think too much about putting my clean laundry into the dryer... This place is tiny. There's not much seating available and every time another patron walked by, you just feel like your personal space is invaded. There's nowhere to stand where you're not in someone's way. There's definitely no place to roll laundry carts. Street parking only. read more

I read Eliabeth C's review and must disagree. The laundromat is in West LA. It is not hot. The front and side doors are open and there is good airflow. It has vending machines. It is not a breakfast boutique. It has many (at least 7) chairs. Prices are reasonable. I was there Friday 7/8. I have been there on many occasions and it works for me. read more

DANGEROUS! DO NOT COME HERE! I got harassed by a man doing his laundry here. He wouldn't leave me alone. Long story short, he lost his temper, aggravatedly assaulted a young man (maybe 20 years old) right next to me (I'm sure he wanted to attack me, but changed his mind), then I grabbed my things to run away and he said it's because of "f*****g b*****s" like me. I got away as fast I could and called the police. Nobody works on site. No security guard. Another time I went, a homeless guy was washing his pants there. He literally was there without pants on because his pants were washing. Disgusting, terrifying, dangerous place. I purchased my own compact laundry machine. I refuse to put my life at risk here again. Not yo mention, the washers SUCK & stain my clothes every time. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I usually go to the laundromat on Ocean Park, but had to come here due to some car trouble. This laundromat is expensive and the machines are overpriced and old. The washing machines performed well, but the dryers eat up your money. I put in $1 to dry (25cents for 6 minutes) and when the time was up my clothes felt like I just took them out of the washing machine. At my regular laundromat, I usually spend $1-$1.25 to dry ALL my clothes. I wouldn't come back here unless I really have to. read more

I've lived in LA for a little over a year now and this is the only place I have ever brought my laundry! (Never done dry cleaning here though, so I can't rate that) I've never had to wait for a washer or dryer, even at the peak hours. There's lots of parking and the employees are very nice. The only thing I would change are some of the customers. Actually, the customers are fine. But customers' entire families come in...with 6 children all under the age of 9. Screaming, running, etc. It gets quite loud. Overall, great washers and dryers, gets the job done for less than $3 a load. No complaints here! Just be sure to get there before 9:30 PM. read more

I brought in some shirts and a pair of pants to clean. I also asked them to replace a button on the pants. They told me to come back Thursday at the end of the day. I came back Thursday right before 5, and they didn't have my clothes! Apparently they meant Friday. Thanks guys. I came back Friday to get my clothes, and sure enough they hadn't fixed the button. The cleaning seemed ok. But really this place made a bad first impression on me, and I doubt I'll give them a second chance. if you know me, you know that I change my wardrobe selection with the same frequency that Donald Trump admits wrongdoing. That being said, it would make sense that I would be doing my laundry a lot. In fact, it's one of my passions. So given that, finding the perfect place to spend my days doing my laundry is an important task, to say the least. Naturally, the first place I decided to do my laundry was in my apartment building. I didn't like how my clothing felt, my building manager yelled at me for doing my laundry too early in the morning (9:00am) and it was overpriced. I'm not going to say I deeply considered breaking my lease over these things but it would be a lie to say the thought didn't cross my mind. I wanted clean laundry and also an adventure so I decided to try the Westgate Laundromat. Let me tell you, this is a laundromat. Maybe not a laundromat to be remembered but nonetheless a laundromat. It was hot, my laundry didn't get completely dry, there was no vending machine, the machines were expensive and there were like, three chairs. I'm not going to definitively say this is a bad laundromat but tbh it wasn't the best. When I go to a laundromat I want video game machines, WIFI, complimentary continental breakfast, a petting zoo and valet parking. Westgate failed on all these fronts. Am I surprised? No. That still doesn't mean I'm not disappointed. Despite my criticisms, I may return but still have not made up my mind. Huzzah! read more

This place is a trash bin and a scam. It's dirty, old and expensive. My clothes were still dripping when my cycle was done and the dryers are expensive, 25 cents per 6 mins. No one was around to let them know which machine was broken (#6 in the back row). There's no AC so it was a sauna in there. It's been 18 mins and $1 later and my clothes are still wet. read more

I've come here to do laundry a couple times when our building's machine has broken down. Of course that means I've only ever come in a foul mood, because who wants to babysit their clothes when they could be at home doing important work/watching tv. That being sad, this place gets the job done. In my experience always enough washers + dryers, cheap prices, and I'm pleased by the on-site change dispenser (maybe all laundromats have these, but new to me!) I could imagine them running out of places to sit while waiting, but I haven't seen it myself. Also, the taco truck that's usually out front is delicious. read more

This laundromat is very small, has no parking -- be ready to pay at the meter, no pets allowed, expensive dryers (25 cents for 6 minutes so way more expensive than the actual parking!) and I found a bunch of hair at the bottom of two washing machines when checking them before putting money in. I have been going to this laundromat weekly for three years, and I arrived there tonight at 9:31pm. Last wash is at 9:30pm. The employee would not let me use the machines. It didn't matter to him that I've been going there for three years, it didn't matter to him that I'm going on a two-week trip tomorrow and my clothes are dirty, it didn't matter to him that I was ONE MINUTE late. He did not care at all. There were three other people there still washing their clothes -- it's not like this guy was about to go home. And I only had one laundry basket of stuff to wash. I will never go back there. If management reads this, his name is Leo and he was a total jackass, pulling out his iPhone to show me that it was in fact 1 minute after 9:30.
